Carter Vs Conner

Carter jumped back and Conner did the same. A shadow stretched from Conner's back and Carter activated his dragon eyes. He ducked as the shadow sliced forward to then stab where Carter was but he jumped aside. The shadow spiked up and rushed him. Carter slashed at the spikes and jumped into the air. The shadow stabbed at him but he vanished into a spiral. "Tsk." Conner said as his shadow returned to him.

Carter eyed Conner who glared back. Carter's dragon's eyes formed and he smirked and Conner blinked to himself suddenly atop a vast ocean. Carter calmly rose from the water beneath. "I can't shift a muscle." Conner thought; eying his arms which were stagnant. Carter chuckled. "Illusion, huh." Conner whispered.

"It's over!" Carter exclaimed slicing at his brother but they suddenly switched places before returning to reality and Carter jumped back. Blood sprayed from his chest.

"It's about time we end this." Conner said. Carter chuckled in response.

"I just realized that we're in an empty area with absolutely nothing to lose!" he exclaimed; smirking excitedly. Conner cracked his neck.

"If you go all out then I have to in order to survive." he said.

"That's my brother! We think the same." he remarked.

"Brothers?" Lana thought as she stared.

"We don't think alike; brother." Conner said as he readied himself.

Carter's body engulfed in the dragon's elemental energy and his teeth formed into fangs, his fingers claws and his body started to enlarge. His skin turned into dragon scales and dragon wings spread from his back. "Stage Four!" he roared. Conner spread his arms with a dead serious look, His eyes rolled up and a blast of dark elemental energy surrounded him. His eyes turned full crimson red and his body was completely covered in shadows; his hands grew claws and a jaw formed where his mouth was located; filled with fangs. He licked his lips and chuckled as his body grew slightly. 

"Shadow Form." he said in the voice of his shadow. Lana stared in awe.

"T-this is...amazing." she whispered. "I can sense their elemental energies from here even if they haven't attacked one another yet! It's such an overwhelming amount too; I don't even think I can manage to move a muscle under the pressure!" she continued; gulping.

Carter's eyes widened and he opened his mouth and a blast of electricity shot out. "Dragon's Breath: Electric Style!" he thought. Conner seemed to phase away; avoiding the attack. He then appeared above Carter and landed; slashing at his brother who stopped his own attack before jumping out of the way. He turned to Conner who already was in front of him and the two clashed claws. An arial blast surged throughout the void. Carter's wings closed around Conner. "Be crushed!" Carter growled as his wings tightened. Conner placed his hand on Carter's back.

"Darkness." he exhaled. Carter's eyes enlarged and his body turned to darkness itself and reemerged in space where he floated silently. He suddenly grinned and his back spiked up; barely missing Carter who grabbed the spikes and shattered them. Carter phased to Conner and stabbed at Conner who's body of darkness absorbed the spikes. Conner then puked darkness and Carter jumped back and slashed at the darkness. Carter dove across the void; shadows stretching from Conner and tailing him; barking and screeching. Carter instantly appeared before Conner and spat electricity which blasted Conner away. Conner flipped upright and fired his fist which enlarged. Carter's wings enlarged and held the fist. One wing began absorbing the darkness and the other spat it back at Conner who flipped out of the way. He then ran atop of the blast and kicked Carter away but the man vanished into water and a desert appeared around Conner. The sand grabbed him and started to bury him. He grinned as he was completely absorbed underground. A dark blast destroyed the entire desert and Carter was heard roaring. The illusion vanished and Carter was revealed roaring away the blast that Conner was surging out. 

"Shadow Sphere." Conner hissed. Carter enlarged and punched Conner away across the void before spitting flames.

""Dragon's Breath: Fire Style!" he exclaimed. The blast destroyed many stars as he soared across the void far away. Carter eyed Conner despite being galaxies away to see his brother avoiding the attack with ease. Conner then flipped backwards and swung his hand. 

"Nullifying Wave." he said. The wave caused Carter's attack to vanish and he fell forward.

"My elemental energy." he thought before Conner appeared beneath him and uppercutted Carter. Part of his soul flung out and his eyes rolled up for a few seconds before he jumped away; eyes returning to normal. He coughed; spit drippling from his mouth. Conner jumped up and came down; kicking Carter down. Parts of Carter's soul flung from him; his eyes rolling up again. Conner spun and fired a kick and Carter's fist got buried into Conner's stomach. The shadow spat blood and the stars directly behind him vanished due to the impact from the attack. Conner flung away and he came inches from crashing into a galaxy but Carter appeared before him.

"It's over!" Carter yelled with a murderous grin as he rose his fist. He punched forward but Conner vanished in a spiral. "Tsk." Carter said before looking at some stars to see Conner there; panting and bleeding.

"If that punch had hit me, I'd be dead." Conner whispered before turning to Lana who was staring. "She can keep up with us; huh! No wonder Carter wants her so badly." he thought; wiping his mouth.

Conner's "body" was casually healing and Carter appeared out a dark spiral in front of hid brother; licking his lips and smirking. "Give up." Conner said.

"Dream on!" Carter shouted; smirking as he went on all fours and dove at Conner who uppercutted him before kicking him away. Carter instantly front flipped; fanged feet gleaming through the air as he swung them. "Dragon Talon!" he yelled. Conner turned to a literal shadow and wormed up Carter's body to then uppercut the man. Carter fired a punch to Conner's stomach region despite the man being a shadow but Conner hit the fist down and fired a kick to his brother's head. Carter bent backwards; avoiding the kick; forcing Conner's back away from him. Carter then smacked his knees into Conner's leg; making him fall back and Carter then fired  fired his elbow into his twin's face. Conner turned and tripped Carter and dove backwards.

"Dragon Scales!" Carter yelled as he swung his hands. Scales flung at Conner who summoned his scythe and spun it in front of him; deflecting all the projectiles. Carter appeared beneath Conner; facing upside down and kicked Conner into the air. Carter's eyes rolled up and his face got white lines on it before he spat light. "Dragon's Breath: Light Style." he thought. Conner appeared besides Carter; his hand visible as the shadow was no longer present on that spot. Conner punched Carter away and the two floated stagnantly for awhile. White lines were on Conner's arm and on Carter's face. "Light might be my weakness but it is yours as well." Conner stated; exhaling. Carter grinned.

"I guess so." he said. Conner's dark aura blasted around him and the dragon's aura around Carter; their wounds healing.

"Such a weak light attack has no effect though!" Conner growled; grinning to then burst into a cackle to then hold his face. "Shit...the shadow's starting to take over." he thought.

Carter charged Conner and fired a punch which Conner simply avoided to then knee Carter in the stomach. Carter spat blood and Conner's eyes widened. "Dark Harvest!" Conner screeched. Carter jumped up and continued to soar upwards as an area of darkness spread from Conner. 

"If that attack even touches me; I'm a goner. My soul will be his." Carter thought; frowning. He bit his finger and rose his hand and a blade formed from his blood. "Dragon Blood Blade!" he yelled. The sword enlarged immensely and Carter slashed at Conner but the attack suddenly vanished. Conner floated back and eyed Carter weakly. Carter spun again and fired his blade at Conner who bent backwards as time seemed to slow; the tip of the enormous blade barely missing his face but slightly piercing his chest. Conner quickly grabbed the blade's sides and teleported half of it away into a spiral as time seemed to resume at it's normal pace. Blood sprayed from Conner and he held his chest. 

"That won't heal anytime soon." he thought. His eyes bulged and he fell back lifelessly. "That blade; paralyzed me." he thought. Carter's blade vanished and he shot at Conner with an insane look.

"DIE!" he screamed; laughing as he opened his mouth.

"Nullify." Conner thought as he looked Carter in the eyes. Carter summoned a different blade and slashed.

"Counter!" he exclaimed.
