Lan Du had them lead her to an empty part of the casino, there were many onlookers as they were curious as to what will and has happened.

"Only when I defeat you all will I be your leader"She said coldly

Her words were emotionless and cold like ice, sending chills down their spines.She was only stating the rule, why did it seem so intimidating?

But fro some reason, they felt more and more admiration for her, her attitude and bearing was almost perfect to be a leader for the army.They wondered what her true identity is.

"All of you come!"She shouted

They were a bit hesitant, although they wanted to know Lan Du's strength, sending their strongest fighter will prove it, but she actually wants all of them to go?There was almost fifty people!

But Lan Du was calm and collected as she said

"When you are in front of me, every battle is life and death, no rules, no restrictions, this is war"She said

The seniors felt as if they were enlightened, her words opened a new path for them.If they wanted to survive in the future, they need to treat every battle as seriously as possible.If not, their heads will drop and they will immediately lose their lives.

They nodded and all ran up, Lan Du grinned, to her, this was never a test.It was something for her to let out the pent up anger from their constant bothering.She was doing this completely for her self entertainment.

The moment they crowded up around her, she grabbed on by the collar and swung him to the side.His body collided with many others, knocking them down.She then threw a punch at the ones nearby and tossed as much people as possible.

In a group fight, large objects were the most effective, but since there are no objects nearby, the humans are the next best choice.Lan Du's every toss was able to knock down at least five or six.But since it wasn't anything fatal, they got back up gradually.

But it was only to get knocked back down by her or get sent flying.The people watched with mouths opened wide.This was the craziest scene they have ever seen.Lan Du was tossing people around left and right!

But after some toss, Lan Du realised that going on like this won't be affective, so she grabbed one, punched him in the throat quickly and tossed him out.The one that was punched in the throat didn't get back up.He was holding his hand over his throat as he gasped for air.

Lan Du then swept her leg, knocking down around four people.She then sent a kick in their direction sending all four flying into the people behind.Her movements grew sharper and sharper by the moment.She then grabbed someone by their ankle and began swing him around.

She waved him around like a mace, knocking back anyone who approached.Her actions were vicious and brought fear into the observers.To use human beings as objects without hesitation, she was like a demon.

"What are you fools doing, have you not eaten yet!Why are your attacks so weak and flimsy you damn weaklings!"Lan Du shouted

Her words only motivated them more as they ran up, in the army, such words are the driving force of soldiers like them.Now kindness is shown in the army, only harshness.

"Get up, if you want to be a soldier, start acting like one!"She shouted again

The seniors who were in pain crawled back up slowly and began running up.Lan Du laughed and threw a punch out directly at someone's face.She no longer fought like before, she was now more direct in her attacks.

No throwing, no swinging or sweeping, only punches and kicks...

She grabbed one by the collar and head butted him.The person was knocked down immediately after that strike and fell to the ground.She was genuinely enjoying the process of beating them down.

"Rubbish, how do you expect to survive in the army if you can't even hurt me!"She roared

Some of the seniors on the ground wanted to crawl back up but fell instead.Lan Du has left them in awe.Her fighting style and strength was deeply imprinted deep within their hearts.

Lan Du lowered her fists

"Seems like I will need to train my foolish underlings in the future, meet me at the arena on the first day of every week, I will beat you people into shape so you don't embarrass me in the future"said Lan Du as she went back to the tables.

People gave way to her, in fear of angering her or out of admiration.She just took on almost fifty people at the same time and won!

Her words also meant that she has accepted to be their leader, they felt o regret in getting beaten by her, instead, they felt honoured.She was someone who could fight so many people at once, they felt no shame to lose to her.

Lan Du sat down on another table and started doing what she was previously.Her win streak didn't end and her wallet only grew slowly.

It wasn't long before she earned eight million, the extra three million was just in case there would be problems in buying the medicine and she needs to increase the price.

All the money was transferred to her bracelet after she won each game.She then stood up and left after grabbing the person she knocked out previously.

She flung him over her shoulders and left.She scanned him out of the senior zone and left him by the side.She placed his bracelet back onto him and left.

She logged out the virtual training zone soon after and got out.

'I now have the money, it was easier than expected, who would have expected the seniors to be so rich'

Lan Du chuckled and left the area.

Lan Du left the training zone immediately and headed out of the academy.The longer she stayed like this, the higher the chance that she gets caught by her father.She would rather die than ever be helped by him.

She had to fix her arm as soon as possible, even a single footage from a camera could expose her.She left the academy grounds and too twists and turns through small alleyways.

She memorised some of the cameras near the academy so she didn't have a problem navigating her way to the closest pharmacy.

She entered the shop and went to the receptionist.

"I would like medicine for this arm, the faster it heals the better"She said

The doctor took a glance at her arm and was shocked by how broken it was.He had her lift it up so he could examine it closer.Lan Du agreed and lifted her arm up onto the desk with great difficulty.

"Its amazing that you are not even letting out a sound, the pain would usually cause someone to scream by now"He said seriously

"Medicine for this won't be cheap, it would require six million, I do so apologise, it used to be cheaper by with the sudden increase in medicine usage these days, the supplied couldn't keep up"He said solemnly

Lan Du nodded

"I have enough in my bracelet, I wonder if you could apply it for me?"She said, with her arms, even holding it up would be difficult, much less apply medicine.

The doctor agreed and scanned her bracelet.He was shocked to see eight million on it.He smiled and deducted six million from it and left to get the medicine.

He applied it onto Lan Du's arm and rewrapped up her bandages.Lan Du thanked him and left the shop.She went back to the academy ground the same way she came.

Thinking through what has happened today, Lan Du was still a bit dazed.She has earned enough for fixing her arm and she also became the boss of a group of seniors.This day was the craziest day yet.

But she was a bit shy as well, after all, she was still a junior.The seniors didn't know that but calling her boss made her slightly embarrassed.How could seniors be calling a junior boss?

She smiled wryly and shook her head.

"Now I have some subordinates to train, lets hope they don't let me down"She smiled as she walked back

Her arms now felt much better, it no longer had the constant pain that she always felt.Instead, it felt warm and comfortable.

When Lan Du came back to her dorm, she found instructor Lu sitting inside with her three room mates chatting nicely.

"Lan Du, perfect timing, I have something to ask"Instructor Lu said

Lan Du tensed but nodded and sat down on the ground with her room mates.

"Lan Du, I wonder where you went in the virtual training zone?"He said with a smile

Lan Du replied calmly

"I was taking a stroll and enjoying time where I could use my arms"She said

Instructor Lu nodded and asked again

"Then I wonder...I heard a senior student was knocked out today and had his bracelet removed, I wonder if you know anything about it?"He asked but his eyes said that he knew everything.

But Lan Du didn't back down here.

"I don't know, I have been taking my time the whole day, you might not know but being able to feel my arms was fantastic"Lan Du chuckled and said

Instructor Lu found Lan Du to be very interesting, her reasonings matches her personality perfectly so it was incredibly believable.

Lan Du stood up and wanted to go up to her bunker.She took a step up and was about to do what she did last time to get up.Her room mates didn't do anything as they remembered her outburst but instructor Lu didn't.So he reached out his hand and was about to help Lan Du up when the room mates shouted

"Instructor, stop!"

But it was too late and his hand touched Lan Du's back.He was confused at first but he suddenly felt a force press down onto his chest.Lan Du had kicked off his chest and jumped to the door.

She stared back and her eyes were that of a wild beast that would attack at any moment.

"Stay back!Don't touch me!"She shouted desperately

Last time Tie Wang didn't touch her so she didn't react as intensely, but because instructor Lu touched her, adding on the fact that he was about the same body build as her father, her reaction was much more intense.

"L-Lan Du?"Instructor Lu was shocked, he felt a heavy pain in his chest.

Lan Du suddenly snapped out of it and realised what she had done.

"I-I..."Lan Du didn't know what she could say, she had just kicked an instructor

Instructor Lu saw genuine anxiety in Lan Du's eyes when it has happened so he realised he must have done something he shouldn't have.He turned to the room mates who seemed to know something about it.

"What happened, why is he like this?"He asks

Tie Wang replied

"Lan Du seems to have a slight trauma from a few days ago...it was the same day she broke her arm"He said

"Enough!"Lan Du shouted

She walked up

"Instructor, I apologise for before, I will accept any punishment, but please...stop asking"There was a slight begging in her tone, it was as if she didn't want anyone to know.

Instructor Lu has never seen Lan Du like this before, even her room mates where stupefied.

"I understand, I won't ask"He said and walked out the room

Lan Du sighed, she then noticed her room mates had a damp expression.She put up a gentle smile and said

"How about we go have a meal outside, my treat"She said

Fatty turned to her

"Lan Du, you don't need to act"he said

Lan Du's smile slowly disappeared, it was replaced with a bitter look.

"Lan Du, do you see us as friends?"He asked again

"Of course"Lan Du replied

"Then why do you not tell us what happened that day?"Fatty asked

Lan Du frowned.She sat down on the bottom bunk.

"Close the window and blinds, lock the door and make sure there is no openings to outside"She said

The three didn't know why she said that but did so anyways.

"Sit down"She said

The three nodded and sat down on the bed on the other side.

"You three want to know so I will tell you..."

Their ears perked up, as Lan Du's friends, they wanted to make sure she was alright and nothing bad happens to her.When they saw her broken arm, they felt worried and anxious for her.To them, Lan Du is already a close brother.
