Chapter 1 - A young boy

I don't remember how I got here, but it didn't matter: the earth was warm and welcoming. After a while, I realized that my home was getting smaller and smaller or so I thought. I was actually growing. I was such a small seed covered in the black shell of earth and now I was forming my roots.

But that wasn't the most amazing thing about my growth: four spiky claws started to form. They were still small, but they looked strong and intimidating. Not longer after that discovery, my head started to hurt a little. I guess this is also part of growing up, huh? And how right I was. My head was decorated with a crown of beautiful red petals. However, I was still not ready to show my face into the world. I had to properly prepare myself.

So I took a longer nap in the earth's rind in order to make a suitable entrance. I don't know how much time has passed but my prolonged slumber was worth it: I woke up "at the same moment as the sun". But the sun wasn't the only one who greeted me. A young boy with golden hair and green suit(paired with a long yellow scarf) was gazing at me with genuine admiration. 

I tried to make a good impression and politely apologized for my late arrival. I even told him that my petals were out of place in order to not feel intimidated by my presence. How silly I was... There was no need to conceal my loveliness. He was already captivated by it and ready to take care of my needs. I think I will enjoy my new life on this planet. After all, its owner seems to really know how take care of a flower. 

And that's how our companionship started...
