manga-con PT 1

  " Good morning, Freya, Sophia wake up it's almost time for the coffee shop to open."

"What are you talking about Lilly, it's only 8 am coffee shops don't open for another 30 minutes. "

" Well, I guess you're right but it's so early and I want to talk about something."

" Well since you woke me up, we can talk over coffee give me 30 minutes I'll meet you at alpacas’ coffee in 45 minutes. so we can have a nice chat before school."

Hello, can I take your order.

" I'll have a dark roast 5 sugars, what would you like Sophia?."

I'll have light roast 2 sugars, man It’s sad Freya didn't wake up."

" Yeah, really so let's discuss manga-con. "

" Ugh it's still weeks away and besides shouldn't we have Freya here with us when we discuss this stuff." sorry Freya if I have suffer this talk so do you or since you're my biggest rival I want you to suffer.

" Well yeah that is true b-but I want to discuss manga-con, now! hear me! right now!."

Wow throwing a tantrum in the middle of a coffee shop, wait is that.

" Oh, hey Lilly, Sophia."

oh Freya I thought you slept through our conversation."

"Well, I was thinking about ignoring it and going back to sleep but come on that wouldn't be any fun now would it? Sophia."

" Oh yeah that would be rather bland."

"Oh well now that your here we can discuss manga-con no problems with a whole 30 minutes before we must head to school so what are you both most excited for."

"oh um... Freya you got something?"

"well do you Sophia"

" Isn't Tachima supposed to be there the editor of one kill I'm excited for that."

" okay that's good Sophia Freya?

"Yeah, and I'm excited Reimaa is going too she inspired me to write."

" ok great, I want to enter the art contest and win this year."

" Hey guys don't let me drag you to manga-con. If you don't want to go it's fine, If you don't go I'll be fine on my own. "

" No no were happy to go right Sophia".

" Oh yeah, I’d be happy to go" I guess Freya's trying to be nice for the first time in her life. haha man that's the best joke I've ever told too bad I'm the only one who'll ever hear it.

" So, Freya what exactly is it that Reimaa writes?."

"Well, she writes Venus’s trip, rei, she also wrote that one edited by Tachima which is it I wonder?, got any idea Sophia?."

"She obviously knows it's Tachita."

"oh yeah tachita the one where they suit up in outer space to fight rice grains it got canceled after a chapter not a win for either of us hunh Sophia."

" stop! I sense a weird tension here that friends shouldn’t have around each other."

"What you think were friends?"

"yeah of course."

"no me and her are rivals."

" are you sure you're not twins you're speaking at the same time."

"ha! she wishes she could share my blood."

"seriously stop it's creepy."

"Oh no! we must head to school we really wasted 30 minutes doing this. oh well we can talk after school. I'm happy you deiced to go to manga con with me"

So, after school me and Freya snuck around the back, it really was creepy we were doing the same thing considering we are rivals, people would think we were sisters with how we were doing things, so we avoided Lilly for the next few days until one day.

" Foundddd youuu!"

"ah! Lilly, you scared us."

"Oh, did I! well it's your fault for avoiding me jerks that's not what friends do. if you didn't want to go you could've said so".

Humph! Lilly turned and ran away with tears flowing down her face I was about to run after her, but Freya grabbed my arm and said, " it's better if we let her run, she was a pain in the butt". I jerked my arm away and ran after her, but it was too late she had vanished.

For the next few days Lilly had skipped school Freya was back to stealing all my other friends but I just wanted to find and apologize to Lilly. but then I saw her one day heading in the direction of my house with something in her hands, so I deiced to follow her.

Then she stopped at my house held up the thing in her hands it was a sorry card then she put a ticket in there for manga con then I heard her utter. " Sorry for forcing this on you I hope you can forgive me you can refund your ticket if you want -Lilly." ok that sounds good well here goes".

But before she could slide the envelope through my mail slot I ran out and hugged her I was crying and apologizing for being such a bad friend, but Lilly pushed me away and whispered." No, I'm sorry for forcing this manga-con thing down your throat guess I just got exited"

"you have no reason to apologize."

" You idiot! don't you get it I'm apologizing for avoiding you. I should've just told you that you were pressing too hard if I had this wouldn't've happened. now how about we go to Freya's house and see if she still wants to go to manga-con okay".

When I said this Lilly started to cry and said " yeah let's go " when we got to Freya's let's just say Freya was less excited to see us, but she still invited us in. we played some video games and had an overall good time we even got pizza, of course I beat Freya at all her favorite games while Lilly laughed at our arguing over the games. when we finally left me, and Lilly wanted to do it again tomorrow, but Freya said " yeah but next time maybe at your house Sophia" we all laughed and set off. it was getting harder and harder to see Freya as a rival anymore, but she kept giving hints the popularity contest was still on and of course I wouldn't back down just because were sorta friends now. believe me the real challenges come next.

" Hey Sophia, be prepared for tomorrow good nightttt"

And with that cryptic message Freya went to bed but I couldn't sleep and stayed up all night thinking about it when it was time to get ready, I had to put on a lot less eye shadow than I normally do.

At school I was alert waiting for Freya to make her move, but she never did and at the end of the day I realized she never planned anything she was just trying to ruin my final day. but as I sat on the bench pondering how I just got played Lilly came up to me and gave me a great big hug.

I put an arm up to hug her then Freya poured water on us from a window above I was confused and a little upset but Lilly was laughing she said " gotcha Hehe." That's when I realized they both pranked me. but I laughed it off that probably disappointed Freya it' s a good thing I left my phone at home today I told Lilly then she realized that I could've died if I had anything electric on me. she burst into tears and started apologizing you know classic Lilly things when this happens you must forgive her while still making her feel guilty it's way harder than it sounds. And it already sounds impossible.

I deiced to get my revenge by inviting me and Lilly over again, Freya seems to enjoy when we play games together. I guess she sees it as an extension of our rivalry. so today I was Lilly levels of friendly to Freya, Lilly was the type who would do almost anything to help a friend. Freya was so annoyed her rival was acting like this she kicked us out. as soon as the door shut, I couldn't help but burst into laughter this made Freya open the door again to check if her rival had come back. Her eyes lit up as she saw me laughing at how much I had annoyed her. but before she could get more exited, she closed the door and we heard her say "see you in a week". At this point we were a week away from manga-con when we made it to my house, I said the same as Freya " see you in a week" this made Lilly happy seeing as how everyone had confirmed they were going she said, " yeah see you". And ran towards her house with the biggest smile I’ve ever seen.
