Predestined encounter

Inside Asu's building, the wolf and the scorpion were infiltrating undetected while, unbeknownst to them, phase two of operation [Blossom] was on the verge of failure.

"Wolf!!! This way!"

The young boy stopped his leader by grabbing her arm just before she rounded the corner.

"FAST!!! Several explosives have gone off in the city!!!! We need to get out and help protect the civilians!!!"

The few remaining guards in the building came out, alerted by the explosions. Had Mai not been stopped at that moment, the operation would have failed completely.

"Thanks Wolf. That mask of yours is really useful."

Back on the bridge blocked by Coyote, the situation continued to approach a critical point.

"Shit!!! Something's wrong with the detonator and I can't get it to go off."

Coyote ran back towards the bridge. He had moved away to detonate the explosives safely, but his detonator was failing for some reason. As he got closer, he kept pushing the button to no avail.

Coyote made it to where the explosives were as the armored convoy was rapidly approaching. Then he saw the problem.

The world around him stopped. Everything was happening in slow motion for him. In front of him were dozens of explosives that would open a path to the future. At that moment he realized what was the path to take.

Dad. He thought as he clutched his pendant in his hand.

"GET OUT OF THERE COYOTE! Asu's guards won't be long in coming! The truck will hold them off!"

Gunner was still on the call with his partner. He was trying to get him to back off as his combat experience made him guess what was going to happen.

Coyote turned off the transmitter and images of when he first met Mai flooded his mind.

"I'm homeless and without a family. I have nowhere to go."

"I don't like it!!! From now on, you will be called Coyote and you will be the chief inventor of my gang!"

Coyote looked at his father's disruptor one last time. Before he pushed the button, he thought about how happy and sad his life was. Coyote pressed the button on his dad’s disruptor, and immediately all the explosives went off in unison. The powerful explosion behind the truck brought down the bridge, knocked the truck over, and stopped all the vehicles a few feet away.

"SHIT!!! They have destroyed the bridge!!! Turn around!!!" Asu's troops shouted.

"Coyote!!! Don't tell me that you...!!!! Damn it!!! I have to go to Asu's building!!!" Gunner said as he heard the sound of the explosion and ran towards his destination.

I hope the plan will be a success. No... I know it will be, Wolf... Though the coyote as he slowly lost consciousness and flew through the air due to the explosion.

While this was happening, Ano and Mai arrived at the floor where Yu Asu's office was located. Phase 2 has been completed at a high price. However, one last person was cutting them off from their final destination.

"I see. So at last the traitor has shown up in the company of the black sheep of the Asu’s family." Miss Inui said while she holded a Japanese katana.

"Inui!!! Step aside and don't interfere!!! My brother's dreams end tonight! If you don't get out of our way, we will have to knock you unconscious!"

"How naive!!! I will gladly give my life to stop two traitors like you." She said as she unsheathed her golden katana.

"Mai!!! Leave this to me!"

Even though he was reserving all his power and energy for the battle against Yu, Ano stepped in front of Mai. Without making use of his battlesuit, and simply equipped with his mask and bare hands, he got into a fighting stance.

"Inui!!! Your physical modifications are no match for my technology!!!! I'll finish you off before you can blink." I will be the one to open the way to our dream, HANA!!!!

"If I can take one of your arms before I die, that's enough for me!!!" Inui said as she started running at superhuman speed towards Ano.

Ano and Inui approached each other at an extreme speed. The air around them began to swirl due to the pressure of their movements in that corridor. In just 5 seconds, the battle was over.

Ano and Inui overtook each other and now found themselves with their backs to each other. Ano fell to the ground kneeling, while Inui slumped down after her beautiful golden katana shattered into hundreds of pieces.

Without him realizing it, a small notch appeared on Ano's white demon mask. That confrontation with Inui would end up being decisive in the events to come.

After incapacitating and immobilizing Inui, they arrived and stopped in front of the entrance to the office of their final target. However, before entering, the leader had a few words for the wolf.

The female leader planted herself in front of the young boy and grabbed both his arms. Her face expressed incredible maturity and determination. Mai's eyes and gaze were honest and warm. She took a breath, and once she was sure the wolf heard her, she made him promise one thing.

The leader began to cry without mourning, as she grabbed both arms of her dear friend. Then she stopped holding him and continued.
