The Worst Hero (2)

The cold outside is unbearable, but the kotatsu is warm, making me almost fall asleep.

 Hana over time got tired of watching her cartoon and started painting in her huge coloring book.

 This coloring book is a gift our mother left for Hana, so for her it's like her personal treasure. 

I remember when I asked when I was younger why my mother bought a coloring book for a little baby, my mother replied: "Hehe, when I was Hana's age my mom made the same mistake buying me a book just like this one, but... when I think about the good memories and the time my mom and I spent together painting in this book, it gave me I want to do the same thing with Hana when she's older".

 In addition to the book, Hana got a box of colored pencils, but with the move, we lost practically all of them. Today Hana only paints with the colors: Red, Blue and Yellow. 

I even thought about spending some time watching Hana draw, but when I saw her drawing the leaves of a tree with the yellow pencil I gave up right away. 

So, I decided to spend some time on my cell phone, but due to the warm kotatsu, I soon fell asleep. After a while, I woke up to the sound of crying and when I raised my head I saw Hana with tears in her eyes. On the outside I kept up appearances, but on the inside I was desperate. 

-"What happened Hana?"

 Hana ran her hand over her face, wiping away her tears. 

-"Brother...I..."

 (11 hours later) 

Despite the freezing wind, the streets of this small town are quite busy. When I saw that it was after 8 pm I immediately remembered Hana, but I had more to do. 

As I was walking, I felt my cell phone vibrating in the right pocket of my pants. I didn't want to answer it, because I had an idea who it could be, and I got confirmation when I picked up my cell phone. 

It was my grandfather.

 For sure, I would get the biggest lecture for leaving Hana alone, but in the end I think it would be worth it. 

But... when I answered, I realized that it had better be just a scolding... 

Hana is in the hospital.
