Chapter 5: Oasis

Two visibly armed individuals, one having asthma, falling through the ceiling would catch some sort of attention. But not everyone just kept walking as if nothing happened.
That's not the strange thing though, the strange thing is how uncanny everyone is. The way they walk looks natural but everyone is doing the same walk at the same speed synchronized. As if they were marching for a parade, no not even normal people could be this precise and synchronized. 
Worst of all was the faces, everyone had the same unblinking smile on their face. If singled out it would look semi-normal but seeing everyone having the same expression makes it even more uncanny. 
This long well-lit white way has doors along the walls. it seems this area is a living quarters area. 
Silicon takes out her inhaler and takes a puff, she breaths heavily as she becomes as confused and unsettled as I am. "What the hell?" she gets up "hello?" she timidly said to them. There was no response, just the ever-so-synchronized march to where ever they are going. 
suddenly a security bots round the corner and spot us. They run towards us "dammit come on let's go" I said grabbing Silicon. I turn around and am startled by another security bot right in front of me. "dammit" I quickly raise my hands believing they would arrest me for intruding in the resort.
Instead, the two bots stare at us. In a mechanical voice, both of them speak at the same time "is there something the matter?" 
"no?" I answer confused. Silicon coughed for a moment.
both their screens turn to Silicon "it's nothing" She proclaims to them "just my asthma, it's all under control."
I stood there confused, why aren't they attacking? Then I remembered how Kieth thought we were guessed. These bots might think we were just lost, guest. 
The bots continued to stare at us. "I think we're fine, we'll just go now" we quickly try to get away but one of the bots blocks our path.
Both of them speak synchronized "You seem unwell, please come with us to the medical bay"
"No, we just came from there" I answer trying to move away from them, but they still block our path. "You seem unwell, please come with us to the medical bay"
"I said where fine" I quickly try to maneuver around them.
One of the bots grabs my arm. Suddenly a burst of pain come over my body. It feels like every muscle fiber throughout is trying to rip itself apart. I recognize this as a special none lethal type of device. It functions similarly to a taser but it contracts muscle using a special electric frequency. Enough to take anyone down but not enough to stop a pacemaker. 
I would be screaming in pain but the muscles in my mouth are shut closed. As I collapse to the ground in pain the bot starts dragging me. I see at a glance that they also grabbed Silicon and she is also collapsed and being pulled. "You seem unwell, please come with us to the medical bay"

The bot barely dragged us a foot until we see the one dragging me get its LCD screen gets blown off and riddled with holes. As the bot collapses the pain goes away, I quickly pull out my gun and shoot the bot that grabbed Silicon. 

Out of the now destroyed vent came Lieutenant. "Where the hell were you" I muttered

"I was confused why they took so long to grab you instantly" I get up quickly, and Lieutenant helps Silicon get up. 

Rounding the corner we see a large group of security bots we turn around we see another large group blocking our way. Both of them stand side by side with each other. "You seem unwell, please come with us to the medical bay," they all say to us simultaneously.

We all suddenly hear a large ringing sound, coupled with a splitting migraine. This is a special riot control weapon, that uses sound to create an uncomfortable headache. I glance at the uncanny people and I realize they are not affected. 

The Bots slowly walk towards us, "You seem unwell, please come with us to the medical bay". Lieutenant screams and blindly fires at them, hitting one of the people. The bots seem to stop, a few seconds pass "You seem unwell, please come with us to the medical bay". The bots run a full sprint towards us. Me and Lieutenant open fire on them "We need to get out of here" Yelled Lieutenant.

"Door behind you" we quickly open the door, I was bout to get in until I realized we were missing Silicon. I then see her dragging the person Lieutenant shot. "Silicon get over here" I yelled to her
"just shut up and cover me" She yelled back. I started opening fire on any bot coming close to her.

"What are you doing," said Lieutenant trying to move a large desk to barricade the door. 
"Just help me cover Sili" I reply. We both start covering Silicon as she inches closer to the door. The Bots are ever so closer. 

when Silicon was inched towards the door we dragged both her and the person inside. The bots reached inside the room but we closed the door and barricaded it before they could get in.

tired I mutter to myself "what the hell was that"
