Chapter 10:

Bonus Episode: The New Queen

The Nice General

Now, we will see what happened after Heixin took over the unified country.

Heixin sat on her throne. Originally, it was King Zhang’s chair.

“This chair is very comfortable. Kimochii!”, said Heixin.

The chair was so comfortable that 4 years passed by in the blink of an eye. Heixin woke up from a nap and yawned.

The country was still peaceful. Crimes still happened and many people were poor, but overall, people were happy and were glad that there would not be a second Great War to ravish the nation and the long lasting peace. Baitou, who was now 16 years old, was cleaning the rooms in the castle. He noticed a letter near Heixin’s bedroom table. It was a letter from a prince.

Princess Heixin was walking down the street and everybody that she meets just happened to have an original point of view.

There were men and women fighting each other. It was a brawl. Perhaps, these people were drunk.

“Stop fighting!”, yelled Heixin.

However, nobody listened. Heixin put her hand on one guy’s shoulder in order to get his attention. Without looking to see who it was, he turned around and punched her in the face. It was at this moment, this man knew... he messed up.

The maid, who was also a bodyguard, Xiaoxin Mao, stepped to the side and decided not to get involved. Heixin began to beat everyone up.

People were knocked out on the ground. Heixin also threw someone through a window. A light appeared around that person and someone yelled “GAME!”.

Heixin let out a sigh of relief and she resumed her walk with Maid Mao. The people who were watching the brawl clapped and cheered for Princess Heixin’s amazing fighting skills and bravery.

“他们很热心地叫好。我恐怕他们以后太多了爱暴力。。。”, theorized Heixin.

(They are applauding very enthusiastically. I fear that they will love violence too much in the future. . . )

“Hehehe... Maybe you should give a speech that will encourage them not to love violence”, recommended Maid Mao.

“好啊。大家!你们不从应该不打架彼此。你们在将来还不应该喜欢暴力。现在请回家,或者我要惨地打你们 ”, threatened Heixin.

(Alright... Everyone! You all should never fight each other. You should not come to like violence in the future. Now, please go home, or I will violently beat you up.)

All of the people that were watching the fight all disappeared like ghosts. The town was so silent that a tumble weed rolled by. Maid Mao could only respond to the irony in Heixin’s statements with a smile.

The maid and princess continued walking. They finally reached a medium-sized palace, which had guards at the entrance. Heixin showed the guards a piece of paper and the men let her and Maid Mao inside.

“雪王子,黑心公主到了”, said a loyal servant of Prince Xue.

(Prince Xue, Princess Heixin has returned)

Heixin and Maid Mao entered the room, which was very white and clean.

“。。。你为什么送我这张信件?”, questioned Heixin.

(Prince Xue, why have you sent me this letter?)

“你没回答我的其他的信件”, accused Prince Xue

(Well... You did not reply to my other one)

“Ummm, 我回答了”, revealed Heixin.

(Ummm, yes I did)

“你写过了只有‘读了’”, stated an annoyed Prince Xue.

(You only wrote “Read”)

“当然”, declared Heixin.

(Yes, exactly)

Prince Xue stood up from his seat and he put his hands around Heixin’s hands. Then, he looked her deep in her eyes.

“我喜欢一个强大的女人。因此我想做你我女朋友”, proposed Prince Xue, with a smile on his face, which sparkled under the lights in the room.

(I like a strong woman. Therefore, I would like to make you my girlfriend)

(I don’t want that. I am sorry, but I like—)

“哥哥~”, said a creepy female voice from a distance.

(Older brother~)

A girl came out with an axe behind her back. She seemed to emit a dark and jealous aura.

“哥哥,那是谁?”, interrogated the creepy girl, as she raised the sharp axe to Prince Xue’s neck.

(Brother... who is that?)

Prince Xue nervously gulped. “她名字是黑心公主。她-她-她是我的爱的喜欢的姑娘。妹妹,现在请你可以移动那个武器从我脖子吗?”

(Her name is Princess Heixin. S-s-she is the girl I like... Now, may you please remove that weapon from my neck?)

“不要! 不要! 她是一个狐狸精. 我觉得你应该找一个很漂亮的姑娘一样我”

(No! No! She is a thot. I feel like you should find a beautiful girl like me)

Prince Xue looked at his sister like she was crazy. Her name was Zong Xue (棕雪).

“不要、不要”, mimicked Prince Xue.

(No, no)

“You baka!” shouted Zong, as she beat Prince Xue’s chest with her hands like a taiko drum . She then picked up the axe and began to chase her brother out of jealous rage.

The siblings ran around in circles like little children. Heixin and Maid Mao were weirded out. They slowly glided away and left the palace.

Xiaoxin Mao and Heixin finally returned to the palace. Baitou brought Heixin some fresh chocolate cake that he had made.

“欢迎回来公主。您今天好吗?”, asked Baitou, as he placed the plate of chocolate cake in front of Heixin and cut her a slice.

(Welcome back Princess. How are you today?)

“很累。蛋糕吃的以后我睡觉。。。”, confessed Heixin.

(I’m very tired. I will sleep after eating cake.)

(Were you fighting people again? Maybe you should stay here tomorrow)

“为什么?你对我安全恐怕不怕”, asked Heixin.

(Why? Are you afraid for my safety?)

(I am not afraid for your safety.... I am afraid for everyone else’s!)

Heixin took a bite out of the chocolate cake.

“太美味了!”

(It’s so delicious! )

“噢。我给您要把一杯牛奶”, offered Baitou.

(Oh. I’ll give you a cup of milk)

Baitou left the room, but before he went to get the milk, he heard his mother speaking with Heixin.

“黑心公主,如果您希望是一位女王的话、您需要有一位国王。您有没有您喜欢的男人?”, said Maid Mao.

(Princess Heixin, you cannot wish to become a queen, if you do not have a king. Is there a man that you like?)

Heixin looked at the delicious chocolate cake that was just given to her a few minutes ago. Her face became a little red.

“有”, quietly replied Princess Heixin.

(There is someone)

Baitou became nervous. “她喜欢的人是谁?。。。啊! 那张信件。男人是雪王子。当然。。。”

(Who is the person she likes?... Ah! That letter. It must be Prince Xue. Of course...)

Baitou brought the cup of milk to Heixin.

“谢谢你”, Heixin said while smiling.

(Thanks)

“不客气”, answered Baitou.

(You’re welcome)

Baitou was happy to see Heixin happy, but deep down, he was sad that he had lost the girl to a prince. Well, that was natural. More than likely, this prince was tall, rich and handsome and had political power. There was no reason why Heixin would not accept Prince Xue’s invitation to marriage.

Baitou went to his bedroom and laid down. He was sulking. Later, he left to go to the bathroom. There was the sound of glass breaking. He heard the sound come from Heixin’s room.

Baitou opened Heixin’s bedroom door. He saw that Heixin’s window was smashed out. There was a woman tied up and being carried by three men. Maid Mao burst into the room with a sharp sword.

“白头,在这儿发生什么?”, asked Maid Mao.

(Baitou, what happend here?)

“一些男人捡起黑心跑步了北方。我要跟随他们!”, answered Baitou.

(Some men picked up Heixin and ran northward. I will follow them!)

Baitou hopped out of the window and began to chase the kidnappers. “等!”, yelled Maid Mao, but Baitou was too determined to save Heixin.

(Wait!)

Baitou ran as fast as he could. Eventually, he followed the men to a medium sized palace. He used the training he received from his mother, Maid Mao, to sneak into the palace without being detected.

He walked into the room. It was a very white room. He saw Heixin tied up to a fancy throne chair in the room. Tape was wrapped around her mouth as well. A man with striking blonde hair stood near her, stroking her long and shiny black hair.

“Stop!”, shouted Baitou.

“Hmmm... and who might you be?”, questioned Prince Xue.

“I’m... I am the one who will save her”, replied Baitou.

“Interesting. You are just a young boy. Heixin here needs a man—a prince, who can take care of her”, believed Prince Xue.

“Well... I do not think that you are doing a good job at that”, noticed Baitou.

“Oh, is that so. Well then, boy. It seems that you think that you can take care of her better than I. If you are man enough, then fight me, the mighty Prince Xue!”

Prince Xue threw a sword to Baitou. Baitou was not yet too experienced in combat. He knew this, however, he could not let Heixin be taken by this immoral man. The two males competed for Princess Heixin’s love. They exchanged blows with each other. However, it was clear that Prince Xue was stronger and was the more experienced fighter.

Baitou was knocked around and cut on his right arm, left shoulder and upper left thigh. Eventually, Baitou received a cut on his face. It was a close call. Unfortunately, Heixin was forced to watch from the luxurious chair that she was tied to.

“I may not be ‘man enough’ to take care of Heixin on my own... but I am man enough for us to take care of each other. She is my Darkness ... and I am her Light!”, explained Baitou, as he turned around and quickly cut Heixin free from the ropes that bound her to the royal throne by throwing his sword at one of the ropes.

“Baitou... thank you... I will take it from here. 你可以休息”, reassured Heixin.

(You may rest)

“Oh no 😱”, thought the frightened prince. In an instant, Heixin defeated Prince Xue. Although he injured Baitou, she decided to let him live after Baitou requested that she do so.

Maid Mao finally arrived with Team Sheep, which infiltrated the palace and defeated most of the guards already. Baitou’s wounds were treated and they all returned to home sweet home.

“Thanks for rescuing me... but you know... that sounded almost like a confession... about you being my light”, remembered Heixin, while blushing.

Baitou blushed as well and could not look at Heixin in the eyes at first. But then, he gained enough courage to stare at her in her eyes directly. “Y-yes. I meant that... and uhh... I do like you.”

“Oh, is that so. Well, since you have stared at me for this long, I must be pregnant by now. Therefore, I have no choice but to choose you as my King. You will have to take responsibility”, said Princess Heixin.

Some time later, Heixin and Baitou got married. A wonderful public ceremony was held. The Unified North and South Country retained a peaceful rule.

Meanwhile, Prince Xue’s younger sister learned of what her brother had done. She then began to keep him in a cage and torture him as punishment. His little sister could not be this cute.

What a happy ending.
