Knowing Part 1

We've successfully killed that "Hard-to-kill" monster called "Radogaan". Although Scott, the member of Red Cheetah, was wounded after fighting against that monster and got slightly infected by the virus from that monster, he's fine overall. Christine and Veronica quickly prevented the infection by injecting him with a dope serum to cool down his body, calming down the virus, and putting him into sleep. Because, whenever your body got infected by this virus, your body felt like burnt, that leaving a sunburn from your body.

However, this virus will ravage your body further if the infected are agitated, as if this virus is playing with your immune system. So, the best way to prevent this infection is to stay calm and quickly inject your body with the dope serum to calm down the virus. This dope serum wasn't a cure for the virus. It's just to put your agitated body into the rest. And then, you just let the medical teams take care of your infected body.

After we killed that monster, we wanted to extract the core from that monster. Unfortunately, the core was destroyed into oblivion, thanks to my brute force. But that wasn't a big of a deal, because Minerva could still carve the dead monster corpse material for their weaponry or armory.

And it was such a fortunate moment that our ride back home came to us in perfect timing and took us back to our home together and took Scott into the emergency room for medical treatment.

Arriving at HQ, the medical teams quickly took Scott into the emergency room and quickly took care of his infection. Luckily, medical teams could cure his infection, like breaking a toothpick. And how do they do it? I don't know, because it's completely top secret. Where no single unauthorized person is allowed to see how they're doing it.

Inside this briefing room, there's the three of us and our commander. The reason we're inside this briefing room is for a debriefing after taking a mission that the commander told us to take. Then Commander Katoki said to us straightforwardly.

"The mission was a success. Thanks to your efforts, you're successfully slayed Radogaan and collecting the specific amounts of the materials to us. Also, lending a help toward Red Cheetah teams will be considered as a bonus reward for your concern of your comrades. Although it might be the stupidest move you've made, it's worth taking the risk of keeping the casualties minimum. So, take care, stay healthy, and stay safe after that. Because this tiny virus will infect you whenever you're letting your guard down. Dismissed!"

Afterwards, the three of us stood up and replied.

"Thank you, Commander!"

And then, he said to us, in Minerva's jargon, before allowing us to leave this room.

"Good, Justice above everything!"

"Justice above everything!"

Without further ado, the three of us leaving the briefing room and took a break in somewhere else.

Outside the briefing room, we're walking in the corridor and going into a different path. Both Axel and Christine were walking to the left, while I was walking to the right. Suddenly, Axel asked me from behind.

"Hey Tsuyuki. Where do you want to go?"

And then, I answered while looking back.

"I wanted to go to the restroom,"

"Ok, we're see you later," said Christine.

"We're going to look after Scott in the infirmary room right now," said Axel.

And then, we're all going on a different path and taking care of our own business.

Inside this restroom, I washed my hands and my face after using the toilet. After that, I dried my wet hands and my face with paper towels. After I dried my face with the hand towels, I saw a tall old figure with an eyepatch on his left eye, and a gray-ish green bomber coat approached me from my right side and washed his hands. And suddenly, the tall old figures said to me.

"You wanted to know more about her, right?"

I slightly flinched hearing him say this. Because I didn't expect him to start a conversation with me in this place.

"General Qassem?" I asked in nervousness.

Then, I looked at the tall old figures on my right, and it was General Qassem. I was nervous that I'd be talking to a higher ranked person than myself. I'm afraid that he'll reprimand me whenever I say something that offends him.

However, General Qassem wasn't the person who I'm worrying about. He's such a chill guy that he's able to solve every problem with a cool head.

"Oh… yes," I continued, while nodding nervously.

And then I asked him again.

"But wait, how did you come up with this idea? And where do you get this information from?"

Suddenly, he approached me, patting my right shoulder while smiling, and replied to me.

"Trust me, Tsuyuki. You'll leave no single regret meeting her again in somewhere else,"

I was confused by what he said about leaving no single regret meeting her again. And then, I asked him back.

"What do you mean by that?"

"She had a connection with you.," he answered smilingly.

After that, General Qassem leaving the restroom and leaving me standing in this restroom alone.

"What the hell was that even mean?"

My curiosity about her is getting higher than ever. I got out of this restroom and approached General Qassem to ask him again about her.

"Wait, Mr. General," I said from behind.

And then he looked back and replied curiously.

"Oh, what's wrong, Tsuyuki?"

After that, I asked him.

"Are you talking about Onigashi?"

"Yes," He replied in a straight tone while nodding.

And then I asked him again.

"You said to me I wanted to know more about her, right?"

"Of course," he answered while nodding.

"And you said to me she had a connection with me, right?"

"Also yes," He also replied with a straight tone and nodding in confidence.

"Can you give me a little clue about her, so I can find it further by myself?" I asked him again.

And then, he explained while approaching my face.

"She's a former Minerva Authonoid that ended up defecting into Crescent. Because her infection rate is reaching a critical level that they cannot cure it. And it's rumored that you have a similar frame from her,"

Hearing his explanation gave me a slight shock hearing she treated like this in this military organization, and a similarity between her frame and mine.

"Ok, thank you so much, Mr. General. Sorry for bugging your time,"

"No problem.,"

Furthermore, I left General Qassem behind and was on my way to the infirmary room to visit Scott there.

It makes me think that this military organization has ever treated Onigashi's unfairly previously. And because of that, she ended up defecting into Crescent. I wonder who's responsible for making her look like this. And I wonder what other similarity that I've had with her besides her frame? And, I have a right to know deeply about the context of this problem.
