#09.5: Confidence Back

Genesis then invited Amiya for a talk, and right after they find a bench in the park, they sat and began talking

Genesis: what were you doing there?

Amiya: ( take off her facemask ) nothing, just doing some stuff

Genesis: ( looking into Amiya's eyes, then he looks far away ) was it fun then?

Amiya: window shopping?

Genesis: no, destroying someone who can't fight back?

Amiya: ( shakes her head in disbelief ) what are you even talking about?

Genesis: then why did you not take off the mask earlier, are you scared?

Amiya: ridiculous! Are you telling me that that girl and her group didn't deserve the thing that happened to them earlier?

Genesis: 1st it's not fair to fight under a mask, and lastly, bad habits start from there, it starts from small amounts, then you crave for more to satisfy yourself, and sooner or later, you'll be living under the pretense that you are winning and happy even though you are truly plunging to a deeper state of sadness

Amiya: but it's their fault, pointing fingers without truly knowing anything that happened to us or the situation

Genesis: like the random people earlier, throwing stuff at them, like they are something dirty and dishonest?

Amiya: ( look down ) but, but, nobody understands the real situation

Genesis: doing another mistake doesn't correct the former, so, can I ask a favor?

Amiya: ( slowly look to Genesis ) what, what is it?

Genesis: ( look to Amiya in a very close space ) Can you please apologize to the 3 girls earlier for our sake, for the class F's sake?

Amiya: ( can't believe Genesis putting his face really close to hers ) I'll try, but I won't promise

Genesis: well that's a good start and for the second favor

Amiya: what?! Do you mean another?

Genesis: hahaha! It's really simple, let's go!

Amiya: ( she stands as Genesis stands too ) where?

Genesis: to a place where we can get our confidence back

The current day

All the students in UBA we're gathered in the gymnasium to discuss the punishment for the incident that Class F was involved in

Hakarage sensei: good morning everyone, so for today, we will discuss the thing that happened to class F

( in the middle of his speech, his secretary reports something to him which prompted him to turn on the large screen behind him and watch the news that would somehow affect his judgment of Class F's punishment )

As the news starts playing on the large screen, Amiya recalls the thing that happened last night as she saw the news report, and it perfectly fits the things that Genesis has told her.

The night before

Amiya: why are they doing that?

Genesis: what? What do you mean?

Amiya: Those 3 friends of yours, giving leaflets in the mall and park earlier, why were they doing that

Genesis: ah, that, well, as I said, we can't be sad about the thing that happened last month, so we devise a plan to take off the negative vibes from our class

Amiya: what do you mean?

Genesis: ( after dropping the box to the floor ) well, that thing, that happened to Kotaro, we didn't really expect that to happen, Kazura was waiting in the gasoline station and yet, he didn't come back for the swap, we didn't take in consideration that he truly misses his family and to know that it was his last chance to visit them while he is still alive, didn't hit us in such state, none of us knew his inner feelings, that's where we fell short, but then, that is past, and no matter how much we try to explain to everyone that we are somehow blameless in that incident, they wouldn't bat an eye and listen as it was easier to point fingers than collect the truth

Amiya: so what's the plan, and why are we putting these boxes here in a small boat?

Genesis: cause it's part of our solution, now let's go to them

Amiya: who's them? Where?

Genesis: you'll see, come, let's go, it's almost time

After walking a few hundred meters from the port, they were greeted by some of their classmates

Genesis: oh, we are doing good!

Mann: yeah, I mean, look at all these people

Mimi: ( coming out of the mixed people surrounding their place ) oh, here you are, can you help us, we need more hands

Genesis: sure we do!

Amiya: what? Wait, why are there a lot of people around here? What's happening?

Yami: oh, here you are, didn't he tell you about project confidence back?

Amiya: no, what do you mean?

Yami: well, right after our 1st day of suspension, Genesis gathered a few of our classmates and he had this brilliant plan of regaining our honor back

Amiya: how?

Yami: you saw some of our classmates giving leaflets right?

Amiya: yeah, what of it?

Yami: ( while putting fruits in a bag and giving it to a person ) well, Genesis said, that to get back on the good side of society is to do genuine good stuff, like these

Amiya: ( an old man passed by her and apologize ) oh, who was that, quite the old people, who are they?

Yami: ( looking to the old people helping them ) oh, they are one of the reasons that we are here, they are the homeless people in our city, they live in different parts of the city 

Amiya: then why are they here, helping us?

Yami: you know the naturalist group in our class right? They thought that by helping them, they can help us back on our feet

Amiya: what do you mean?

Yami: well, Kazura and Genesis created this app, where the leaflets that our classmates were passing on downtown leads to, those who will read those leaflets would eventually come to the app and download it

Amiya: why would they, are we giving some money?

Yami: (smile to Amiya) no, no, Mann, Ren, and Kim gathered the homeless people and taught them how to grow plants, like vegetables and fruits

Amiya: I don't get it, why would we give fruits and vegetables?

Yami: well, here's the catch, in the leaflets or the app, it was written there that "If you are reading this, just go to the app written here, after that, send a positive message to your loved ones, family or friends may it be, as long as it's a positive message, it can go from a single I love you or more, and to sincerely apologize to the society from the incident that happened in our school UBA, we wanted to help the homeless people by buying their vegetables and fruits and give it to you guys for free, the rule is you must show in the app the positive message that you sent and that 1 message would equal to a single fruit or vegetable, a positive exchange between you and your family or friends would equal to a bag full of your chosen fruits and vegetables, so, as again, as we help the homeless people and the people who are suffering from depression like the person who perished last month, please, take these as our token of sincere apology and if you have time, please visit our stands in the allocated area drawn here, thank you" and that was the entire plan, help the homeless people and the people falling to their depressions to go back in a positive vibe

Amiya: ( shocked by what she heard, her eyes get teary ) so that was the plan

And before Amiya can even fully sink in her head all the things that were happening at the moment, in the dark night sky, fireworks filled it with it's magic, and it was covered by different media outlets, live, some of their classmates were even interview by some reporters

Genesis: and that was our plan, do you like it?

Amiya: ( looks to Genesis in disbelief ) it's good I guess

Genesis: ahahaha! Then good, that's what we're here for!

Back in school, everyone was surprised to witness the things that happened last night in different parts of the city, and the news reported

Reporter 1: look at that, kids doing mistakes and taking it by their hands to apologize for their mistakes, isn't that something?

Reporter 2: I mean, kids are kids, they are meant to hit walls, good and bad, that's a part of their growth

Reporter 1: Absolutely, I mean, well, the society is blaming them for the death of the got away prisoner, but then, according to one of our verified reports, the prisoner named Kotaro did what he did for a reason, I mean, adultery while seeing your child being molested by her mother and stepfather, that's going too far!

Reporter 2: and yet, those kids from that prestigious UBA, they sincerely apologize, and I think, they shouldn't be even blamed for the death of the said prisoner Kotaro

Reporter 1: but well, all's well that ends well, to the students who organize that positive vibes in our city, and fireworks too right?

Reporter 2: yeah, yeah, those were really beautiful

Reporter 1: to you, students of UBA, thank you very much, for helping the homeless and some of our people that are dealing with their depression

And by that, since no one was against honoring them with the full absolution of the suspension of their class, Hakarage sensei lift off their suspension and said

Hakarage: never had I ever encountered people that would go to such lengths to prove their innocence, to you class F, I'm really proud of you!

And while he's in the mood, Hakarage sensei invited the entire class F to his office.

Before going to the headmaster's office, Amiya goes first to Haya

Amiya: excuse me, can I have a bit of your time?

Haya: what? Why?

Amiya: about yesterday, I'm sorry, I apologize for what I did to you and your group

Haya: ( only realizing that it was her that pointed at her and her group in the open area in the mall ) well, past is past, I'm sorry too for pointing our fingers in your class without verifying your entire story

And with that, Amiya and Haya shake their hands and forgive each other.

Meanwhile, inside the Headmaster's office, everyone was enjoying the special fried chicken cooked by the headmaster

Yami: ( grab Amiya's hands as soon as she enters the room ) come! You'll not believe how juicy these fried chickens cooked by Hakarage sensei

Amiya: ( takes a bite, and even though it's a bit salty for her taste, she enjoyed it as her other classmates are enjoying it too ) you're right, it's delicious

Genesis: I told you, genuine things taste better when you do it good

Mann: ( he threw the sauce but it flew right in Genesis's face )

Genesis: ( look to Mann with a serious look on his face, then taste the special sauce made by Hakarage sensei ) hahaha! It's delicious!

And everyone in the room was having fun while eating the fried chicken cooked by Hakarage sensei and playing around with each other.
