#11: Getting to know each other

Shizuka sensei is giving the assignment to her class

Shizuka sensei: tomorrow will be the founding day of this institution, hence there would be no class

( all the students in the class celebrated )

Shizuka sensei: but, since you'll be having a 3-day vacation, I would give you a complimentary assignment ( smiling to her class )

( the students go back to their seats )

Shizuka sensei: the assignment would be really simple, group yourselves to 4 and go to each other's places and write what you see there, as easy as that

After Shizuka dismissed the class, the students immediately group themselves, the 4 friends didn't get the chance to blend with the other girls in the class as per plan. The 4 planned to go in separate ways, but their main objective is to get into a group of all-girl groups, especially in Amiya or Yami's group, but with their weird gazes at their female classmates, they were avoided by them. 

With no other choices, Genesis, Mann, Ren & Kim decided to be in one group.

Genesis: so, most of you have visited my place, where should we go tomorrow?

Mann, Ren & Kim: Mine! ( they are planning to invoke the "Adventure" thing that they did in Genesis's place )

Genesis: well, how about a rock, paper, scissors game?

And the 3 play the game, 1st winner is Ren then Kim, and finally Mann. Ren takes out his phone and shows his classmates the GPS coordination of their address, Kim, and Mann follow suit, and after that, they go in their separate ways.

It's Friday, and the other 3 friends are on their way to Ren's house, but they decided to take a shortcut in the alleyway, and while they were walking

Mann: hahaha! See, it's going smoothly as expected

Kim: shut up! After you get us lost for 30 minutes straight!

Mann: chill brother, it's not about the destination, it's about the journey

Kim: journey! We were walking earlier on the open road  where we can see some hot ladies but what, here we are walking in the darkness

Mann: like ninjas! Hahaha!

Genesis: are you sure that we are really on the right way?!

Mann: my guts are telling me that this is the right way, my friend

( and they walk for another 30, but with no luck, they still haven't reached their destination, but then a cat caught Mann's attention so he followed it )

Kim: and where are you going now?

Mann: my guts are telling me to follow that cat!

Kim: enough with your nonsense! We've been lost for an hour

Mann: ( halts and look at the trash bin that the cat goes into ) did you see that?

Kim: of course, now let's go back to the main road

Mann: did you hear it?

Kim: enough with this! Come on let's go back

Genesis: wait, I also hear something, it's talking

Kim: there's no way a cat is talking! Now let's go back-

Mann: ( walks to the trash bin, put his ear close to it, and whispers ) see that the cat is talking

( Genesis and Kim eavesdrop too and they heard the cat talking, "This trash of a planet, filled with sinners, murderers, muggers, liers, rapers and unreliable people, sooner, I think I should just rule and make them my pet, do what I want, how I want, when and where I want, of course, I must do it in ways where nobody could get the wind of what I'm doing, hahaha", and after that, Mann, Kim, and Genesis decided to open the lid of the trash bin, and they were surprised to the thing that they saw inside the bin )

Mann, Kim & Genesis: argggh!!! What are you doing there?!!

Ren: argggh!!! What are you doing here?!!

Mann: ( helps Ren to get out of the trash bin ) is this your house? I never expect that you are one of those homeless Ren

Ren: are you crazy?! Why didn't you follow the direction that I've instructed you yesterday ?

Kim: this idiot here decided to take a shortcut and now we're all lost

Ren: oh, is that so? Then I guess I'll just lead you to our house then, it's not too far from here anyways

Genesis: ( look to Ren's eyes ) but, what were you doing inside the trash bin with a cat?

Ren: ( it took him 5 seconds to answer ) well, I was about to buy soy sauce in the convenience store, but this beautiful cat caught my eyes so I followed it

Genesis: really?

Ren: yeah, I mean, doesn't she look beautiful?

Genesis: hahaha! Yeah, I mean yeah, so let's go to your place now?

Ren: sure, let's go

Mann: you were buying soy sauce? Means that you were cooking something for us right?

Kim: I'm really in the mood to eat some roasted duck and fried dumplings right now, I hope you have those

Ren: Sure, sure

Genesis: ( looking to Ren )

Ren: what? Is something wrong?

Genesis: no, I was just wondering, you don't look like you're into cats

Ren: yeah, that's what my parents used to say too, now let's go

Genesis: sure, sure...

After walking for 2 minutes, they finally arrived at Ren's house

Mann: Waaah! Look at this mansion! Do you really live here?!

Ren: yeah, where should I be living if not here

Kim: ( while walking inside the mansion ) woooah! Look at the size of this place

Genesis : yeah, your house is almost the same size as one of the building apartments in our area

Mann: ( runs back and forth ) so how big is this mansion Ren?

Ren: big enough to accommodate every need of a normal person like me

Kim: maids, do you have maids?

Ren: yeah, since I'm now 14, this house has 14 maids plus a butler

Genesis: wow, I only see those kinds of things in a movie ( he refers to the porn movies that he saw )

Ren: my mom is a very protective parent as you can see, so here you go

Kim: wow, so you are the only child of your parents

Ren: no, quietly no, my father has 5 companies, hence he also has other 4 mistresses, and each of those he has a child, I have 6 step-siblings you know, and their mothers think of me as a hindrance

Genesis: cause of your father I see

Ren: yeah, I mean, money is money at the end of the day, who doesn't even want an easy life right?

Mann: poor you, so you've been competing with them?

Ren: no, not, to be honest, I'm the 2nd child of my father, his 1st was with his 1st mistress which is his 1st girlfriend but my father's family oppose his decision to marry his 1st woman

Genesis: why? What's the problem

Ren: according to my butler, the company built by my predecessors was in decline lately, therefore they need to merge with another powerful family, which is my mother's family, even though my father doesn't want to marry my mother, he can't just do anything, it would be a shame to let your family down as per tradition, so yeah, I have an older stepbrother which is most likely to win most of my fathers properties

Genesis: but it was part-owned by your mother right?

Ren: I don't know anymore, it's an adult problem, so I'll think of it when I get there

( Mann, Kim, and Genesis feel sorry for their friend so they decided to cheer him up )

While touring the house, they fool around and play like it's their last, dressing like maids and butlers, running around the house with broomsticks and feather dusters, they then changed into the bowl attire in Ren's closet, then they pretend to be royalties from different countries, then they start playing fencing, after that, they jump in the pool and swim until they were tired. After hours of playing, they decided to take their dinner, and after that, since it was getting quite late, Mann, Kim, and Genesis decided to go home

Ren: come back here when you have free time, my doors will be always open for you guys

Mann: yeah, we will ( while munching the steak that he stuffed in his bag from Ren's table )

Kim: surely will my friend, introduce us next time to your family!

Ren: definitely I will!

Genesis: hope to be back here soon Ren!

Ren: yeah, please do!

After his friends left

Alfred: ( Ren's butler ) your quite lucky to have some good friends by your side young master

Ren: yeah, I'm glad I have them

Alfred: but I hope you only invite them here without the presence of your parents young master, you know them, they are quite strict with the rules

Ren: my friends are one of the treasures that I can't just throw away you know

Alfred: but, remember what happened to your friends way back when you were small, it might happen again

Ren: then I guess you also need to help me so that won't happen, again

Alfred: I'll do my best young master

While on their way home

Mann: so, it's not all about fancy things and decorations huh

Kim: you said it, money can't buy happiness

Genesis: and yet we thrive for it

Mann & Kim: and yet we do

Genesis, Mann & Kim: ( have a long sigh and stare in the dark night sky )
