Mahina's wounds were still open, and I urgently need to heal them. But, unlike Sheele, I don't know how to use healing abilities, nor do I have the power of her crystal. So I would have to take her to a doctor, but I don't have the money to pay for one either.

Well, I'll take her to one anyway.

She continued to bear her injuries bravely, but her breathing was heavy, and this could be dangerous. After asking some people about some doctors, many people in town were avoiding giving me information, and many just said they didn't know.

I have a very injured girl and these people don't even seem to care. Why? Is it because I look like a homeless person? I doubt that's it...

That's when I realized: Mahina is a human Demi from a race that most people hate, that's why they don't want to give me information, because then they would be looked down on.

First they did NOTHING when Mahina was being beaten almost to death by that piece of garbage, and now, they are avoiding giving me information from a doctor just because of her race ?! What kind of fucking town is this ?!!

Enough is enough !!! I lost patience with these assholes !!!!

I started threatening to kill anyone who did not give me the information I wanted. Those that I could tell were lying to me, I would beat them up mercilessly.

I didn't want to do this, but they gave me no choice. Because of my strategy, I managed to get information from some doctors in town, so I rushed and went one by one to each doctor in town in search of someone who could help Mahina.

Some were closed, while others, the doctors said they had too many people in line, and even though they argued that Mahina was badly hurt, they still refused to help her. I took her to every doctor in the city from the most famous to the less reputable, but they all refused to see her.

Then, finally, I arrived at a doctor who seemed to be attending at the moment. There were a few people in the waiting room, so I checked with the attendant to see if Mahina could be seen.

As soon as I arrived, Mahina and I were stared at by several people. Looks of complete contempt for those people, like "what is this human Demi doing here?

The attendant smiled and said that the doctor was not there at the moment, and that those people who were there were only booking appointments for another day.

This seemed like a lie to me, since there were people who were injured in the waiting room, so it didn't make much sense to me. But, I couldn't prove it and besides, Mahina is very injured, I don't have time to look into it.

The worst thing is that this was the last doctor I had, tsc, I will have to "ask" more people again. So I turned around and walked out of the place.

But, as soon as I turned around. The doctor opened the door to his office and said loud and clear :

-"Next."

When I heard that... I turned around and took a good look at that bitch's face. She, on the other hand, looked at me with a look of dread as if I was going to kill her right now. So I just took a deep breath and walked out of that place.

As soon as I left, I was ready to look for more doctors again. But out of nowhere, several city guards started surrounding me with spears and swords, before I could do anything. "Don't move" they said.

-"What the hell are you doing?"

It didn't take long before I heard a person speaking. She was saying:

- "It was him! It was him, sir! He's the one who hit me!"

One of the idiots that I assaulted, was with a person who looked like a guard, only maybe a little more important than a mere guard.

As soon as they got close. The man who looked like someone important said :

- "Hero Iori, am I right?"

- "Yes, why?"

-"We received several complaints from citizens, about a man who was threatening and even assaulting them for no reason, and we were even more surprised when we found out that he was a hero with a certificate right here in Ur City."

- "For no reason at all..."

- "Normally this would be a pending matter for some hero, but since the "problem" is about a beginner and weak hero, we decided to solve it ourselves city guards."

- "Weak..."

I didn't have time to fool around with them there, Mahina is in a bad way.

- "Please sir, let's talk about it later, please, I need to treat this girl, she is very bad."

- "Never, don't let him get away with it. I was assaulted and humiliated by this trash, I want him to be punished the way he deserves." - Said the civilian

- "Stop kidding, she's..."

I realized that one of the soldiers' spears was hurting Mahina's leg.

So, I punched the bastard hard.

- "ARE YOU BLIND? WATCH HER LEG, YOU IMBECILE !!!!"

As soon as I did this, they threatened to fight back, but their boss didn't allow it, he said:

-"Because of this aggression, we could arrest you or even kill you if you were a common bandit. But since you're a hero and I'm only replacing the real boss, I can't do much..."

- "Hero Iori... You're forbidden to set foot in this town for two weeks."

-"What? That's too little for him..."

- "My decision is made."

- "You..."

- "Are you crazy? There's a badly injured girl here! She needs a doctor urgently!"

I hadn't realized it, but already a crowd of curious civilians and even heroes had formed to watch our discussion.

They were saying horrible things about me and Mahina.

No matter how much I spoke, he remained undeterred.

-"Wait a minute... Is that the human Demi who keeps running away from Rubbold? Haha just let her die, I doubt he paid much on her..."

I thought about hitting him one more time, but I had already made the mistake of hitting him and other people the first time, and that's why we are in this situation now, because of me...

So I just turned around and said what I had already said to Rubbold and his cronies.

-"She's worth infinitely more than you, you trash."

-"Tsc, how dare you compare me to this human Demi!"

Then I turned around and headed toward the town's exit. People kept saying bad things about Mahina and me, but honestly it doesn't matter much now.

-"That's it! Get out and don't come back you trash!!!"

-"You're not welcome here!"

-"Hero ?!! Pffft the worst of them all."

Mahina even with the screams and all this confusion, still rests on my back. It's better this way, I don't want her to hear what they are saying about her.

Don't worry Mahina, I will take care of you myself. I promised that.

And yes, I am the worst hero of all.
