Chapter 2: A New Life.

Both siblings slowly started their journey. It will be the first time out of their home. There were other things they had to worry about as clothes, shelter, and food expenses.Aria and Leo walked for a long time as the mist was getting heavier. Soon they saw a blinking light from a little distance from them. Big smiles appeared on their weary faces. And they began to run the rest of the way. Once they reached the house, they hesitated to knock on the door. After a moment, they knocked on the door three times but got no response for a while. They still banged, and suddenly the door was wide open. A tall girl with beautiful blue eyes, pure black, and long hair stood there without saying a thing. She was shocked to see people because she had not seen anyone other than herself for ages. Then the girl came back to her senses. She welcomed the guests to her house, apologizing to them.She said her name was Julia. Julia's parents left her when she was very young. She lives by herself.Julia kept staring at Aria and Leo constantly. Both glimpsed at each other. Then Aria asked: "What's the matter? Is something wrong?"Oh, no. Everything's fine. It is just refreshing to see other people besides me.Do you want something to eat? You must be starving.Aria offered some help to Julia in preparing food. Both the girls were age fellows. Leo had fallen asleep while the food was cooking. A little while later, the food was ready. Julia went to awaken Leo and served the meal. They had a great dinner together. Julia got some beds prepared for them.Aria was the first to rise from bed the next day. She made breakfast for everyone and woke Leo and Julia. After they had breakfast, the trio went for a walk outside. The weather was peaceful in the early dawn. They sat down and chatted for a long time about their life before both of them came here. The two of them wanted to set off on their journey once again. Julia had to be alone again. How much she enjoyed their company. Aria asked her to come along because Julia was dubious. But then she agreed. All of them started packing their luggage and goods. Julia locked all the doors and windows of her cabin. She was tearing up as she had to leave the house full of her memories. She said goodbyes to her old, dear hut.And off they go.They went to the town nearby. All three had lots of food from the streets and watched amusements. Leo participated in space projects as he was very fond of technology and everything else. It was his dream to be able to study technology. Aria and Julia danced to their heart's content. Time passed by quickly without anyone noticing it was nighttime.Leo was getting sleepy so were the girls. Aria carried Leo on her thin back. She had found a place to spend the night somewhere. Julia told Aria to wait here for her to come back. " I'll be right back in a flash."And she was back in a flash. We can sleep in an inn that belongs to my uncle. He said he would allow us to stay for free because I was his niece," said Julia.Aria thanked her for a great deal and arrived at the inn, not far from where they were. Aria got Leo to bed fast. She went downstairs with Julia to thank her uncle for letting them stay.Julia's uncle asked them why they were traveling here. Aria replied: "Oh, uncle, it is because of our aunt Grace that my brother and I left home and traveled so far. Can you please find us somewhere we can go to stay permanently and free of charge?"Ah! I know. There is. I will give the address to the mansion. The owners are hiring someone to accompany their son, a year older than you two. He is sick nowadays. He isn't comfortable with anyone who comes to meet him. He sends them away and keeps himself shut in his room."The poor boy!" said the man. He stays all solitary. Nobody talks to him. His parents are always busy.Maybe you can try giving it a try. I, for some cause, know you will be able to do it flawlessly.Both Aria and Julia sat at the fireplace and chatted for the whole night.

They took off early in the morning. A vehicle was standing there, waiting for passengers. Aria's group went to the driver and asked him for a lift to the mansion the man mentioned.

"Here you are, ladies." said the motorist.
