A7P6: Treatment of the post war dukedoms

Two weeks after death of duke Durel the Darius dukedom was annexed by the royal family. Princess Monica decided to leave for her personal land, the city named Damas, which originaly was on borders with Margel dukedom, which was now part of Demonic kingdom.

Speaking of which, Torvyn sucessfully evolved into Imp and grow pair of black horns and bat wings. Orlea, his wife, gained power of Dream Demon, a higher evolution of Succubus and helped her husband with managing the dukedom ever since.

The former guildmaster Tongu became representative in council of Lords and thanks to her popularity and charisma the entire Durel dukedom was at piece.

"What? Pazzer Kingdom took over Padan duchy? How's that possible?" I asked Tomi with eyes on top of my head when I saw the report.

"Yes. It seems that the Pazzer kingdom deployed Metal and earth golems as foot soldiers. Also, even though it may not be related, a basilisk attacked Padan duchy's capital when the battle was most heated and the royal family was confirmed to be dead."

"And our people over there?"

"Escaped. After going through the treasury."

"So they used the moment to pillage huh?"

"No need to worry master! We left no evidence of us being there in the first place!" Tomi shone bright smile, "also we have already moved all the gold to forge of dwarves to reforge them into our coins! The magic items found there were moved to our treasury."

"Urgh... I didn't thought that I would have to say this but... Lack of evidence is evidence of itself," I rememberd what Hestia used to say when she was training me to become assassin. 'Lack of evidence is also evidence so make sure you left something that leads to other people.'

"Well, anyway, we will leave the Pazzer kingdom to their exploits for the time being. How's the assimilation of demihumans into society of our recently gained territory?"

"Yes, mostly thanks to Tongu and Orlea everything is going fine. Also we finished transfering land of useless nobles to more prospective ones."

In other words you killed them of and pushed the work onto someone else.

"I see, so Eklu, how's the agriculture reformation going?"

"Yes! The quick growing crops are well recieved in Dulinor territory and Margel dukedom. Also we send food relieves to them for the time being. Both territories agreed to lower taxes for five years so they could continue with development of agriculture and City named Bulg, in south of Dulinor territory started with animal rising," Eklu, who was in charge of agriculture answered me honestly.

"What are they rising?"

"Sheeps, cows and pigs for the most part, but in the south, where the most of the swamps are located, they decided to rise Blue lizards for Dwarven cities."

"So they already started doing bussines between each other? Good."

"Your majesty!" Greg Yu flew into the room, "someone from Karatz dukedom came to see you!"

"Who is it?"

"Aparently their crown prince with his entourage of officials!"

"I will see them right away. Tomi, lead them to the Throne room."

"I'm on it master," Tomi nodded and disappeared in the shadows.

I went to the throne room as well and waited until the crown prince will be in presence. When the group of five entered the room and kneeled before the empty throne I covered myself in Dark cloak and moved to the throne as well.

When I sit on the throne with crown on my head, the prince rised his head.

Wait did they said crown prince? This is a woman no matter how you slice it!

"What brings you here, people of Karatz duchy?" I asked the prince.

"Yes! We came here to seek protection from your majesty! Surely you are aware of the state of things that are happening in the south," the prince answered.

"Oh, declaring yourself a vasal state are you? What kind of merit could I possibly get from that?"

"We have crimson ore deposits which are one of the rarest metals in the world. Also! You can have me!"

The prince took off it's cape and revealed it's quite feminine body, "I am first princess of Karatz duchy! Wilemina Venita Karatz!"

Piercing eyes of my wives stabbed me into my back from both sides. Usually this is the time when Lizzie came out and sit on armrest of the throne and gave the girl before me a cold glare.

"Sorry princess but I have more than enough wives already. If you want to give me something as a subsidy the crimson ore will be more then enough."

"A-are you sure?" the princess asked with tears in corners of her eyes.

"I wouldn't force a girl into relationship she doesn't want, that's not the type of king I want to be. I will listen to you and make you my vasal state. I will leave the rest of the details to you Yuki," I turned around and canceled the Dark cloak spell as it clearly didn't affect the girl before me.

"I understand," Yuki came from shadow behind the throne and bowed a little, "Princess of Karatz duchy, follow me."

When Yuki, more ordered the princess then asked her, she left for her office next door from mine and they finished the talks there.

And two days after that I gained another vasal in form of Karatz duchy.

"I really hope this is the end of our struggles," I yawned when I laid on my bed next to Lizzie.

"Me too, darling," Lizzie held my hand next to her face and fell asleep.

"Good night," I smiled at Lizzie and stroked her hairs.

And not even ten minutes after that I had to throw Albea out of the room.

Can I get at least few years of piece? I'm so tired right now~
