Chapter 14: Back to Normal

After Emuna and her friends worked for another week and spread the Gospel on a Friday morning, they ate out at Space Food. The sunlight shone through those enormous windows, people's chatter and some children's screams vibrated throughout the restaurant, and the art design of food floating in space stood on the walls and the tables. People either stood in line, got their drinks or sat at the tables and waited on their orders or eating their meals.

Even though people's chatter was loud, they weren't annoying to Emuna as much as she was on the train earlier. So she was perfectly content with that. She and her friends sipped their drinks and waited for their orders.

Emuna smiled while she raised her large cup in the air. "We give praise to Elohim for gettin' Yudia out of her punishment and allow her to eat with us today."

"Amen to that," Her friends exclaimed, ramming their cups against hers.

Then Emuna turned to Yudia. "I'm glad you're able to eat with us today."

Yudia grinned back at Emuna, sipping her large drink. "Yea, me too. Thanks, Emuna, for everything."

"Don't thank me," Emuna said. "Thank Elohim for this. He deserves this more than I do."

Yudia shook her head. "Yea, I guess you're right, Emuna." She then looked up at the ceiling. "Thank You, Elohim, for everything."

Once Yudia returned her attention back to her friends, Emuna asked, "Okay, what are we gonna do after we eat here? I mean, I'm tired of going to the park. So any ideas?"

"Do you mean any type of park?" Zaboulon asked, sipping his large soda.

"Yes…" Emuna answered with her tired face. "It's exhaustin' and pretty borin' too."

"I hear ya," Lazarus said, placing his hand on his chin, looking up at the ceiling. "Hmmm…"

"How 'bout we go to the beach?" Yudia questioned.

"Oh, hell nah, girl," Emuna responded when turning to Yudia. "It's too hot outside, especially in Midbar."

Then one of the Space Food workers called out Emuna and her friends' orders. They turned to their orders.

"Well, let's go get our orders then," Emuna said.

"Agreed," her friends answered as they and Emuna got up from their seats and got their orders.

Once they returned to their table, they began to eat their foods and watched each other eat. Emuna sipped her drink after she ate some of her food. "Alright, gang. What else can you guys think of?"

"Hmmm…" Lazarus relooked up at the ceiling, wiping his hands and mouth with his brown napkins. "Maybe we can go to a bowling place."

"Nope, we already went there a couple days ago. Maybe next time," Emuna said, sipping her drink.

"But we went there without Yudia there," Lazarus said. "I'm sure we can go there with her around."

"Look, I understand what you're sayin', Lazarus, but I'm jus' so damn tired of bowlin' though," Emuna said.

"Or maybe you're sayin' that because you suck at it, bruh," Zaboulon teased with a sly smirk on his face.

Yudia gasped and widened her eyes before she ate and chewed on her food. "Ah!" Then she turned to Emuna while Emuna put her head down;Emuna's shadow covered her forehead and eyes. Yudia chuckled a bit. "Was that true, Emuna?"

"Can you guys please not talk 'bout it? I really don't feel like talkin' 'bout it right now," Emuna said.

"Awe, c'mon, Emuna," Zaboulon said. "There's no need to be embarrassed. We were tryin' to help you and…"

"I still sucked at it, okay?!" Emuna cried, lifting her head up at Lazarus and Zaboulon.

"Hey, don't be like that now! You can always do better next time," Lazarus said while he was about to eat his food.

"Yea, Lazarus got a point there," Zaboulon said.

"Yea, well, I still don't wanna go. So please think of somethin' else," Emuna pleaded. "I wanna do something different like we have never done before."

"Alright, alright, whatever you say, crybaby," Zaboulon said as he pushed the air with his hands a couple times.

After Emuna growled at Zaboulon a bit, Zaboulon asked after he ate and chewed his food. "Okay then, how 'bout we go to the amusement park?"

"Yea, that might not sound like a bad idea," Emuna agreed, returning her attention to her friends. "But where will we go?"

"We should definitely go to Aqua World," Yudia suggested, sipping her drink.

"Oh, yea, bruh. Totally…" Emuna agreed when she shook her head, chewing on her food, drinking her drink. After she and her friends ate their food and drank their soft drinks, they exited the Space Food fast food joint and headed their way for Aqua World.

When Emuna and her friends paid their way inside Aqua World, they widened their eyes and smiled. There they saw lots of people strolling all over the park. People's chatter and some children's screams roamed around it. The rollercoaster, merry-go-rounds, sea animal show, the aquarium and more were standing there, grinning at the crowd.

-Wow! This place is amazing! I can't wait to get in there and check it out!

Emuna turned around while people passed by them. "Alrighty, guys. Are you ready to have some fun?!"

"Yea, totally, broh!" Emuna's friends exclaimed, raising their fists up underneath their chins.

Emuna turned back around and raised her fist above her head. "Okay, then! Let's go!"

-Alright! Time to have some fun!

"But what should we do first?" Lazarus questioned.

"Yea," Zaboulon and Yudia agreed.

After Emuna scanned her surroundings, she couldn't think of anything. She frowned as she continued to have a look around. And for a while, she still couldn't find anything to do in Aqua World. Then she put her head down and leaned forward all the sudden.

-Oh, great! I couldn't think of anything that my friends and I would enjoy together. Jus' great…

"Uh, Emuna? Are you okay, bro?" Lazarus asked as he placed his hand on Emuna's back as well as Zaboulon and Yudia just stood near her.

Emuna stood back up and turned around with her continuous frown. "No…I couldn't think of anything to do 'round here."

"Oh, well, that's okay, Emuna," Zaboulon said, pointing his finger at the ball stand on the right, moving it left. "How 'bout we'll decide to go around in a circle from right to left together? What do ya'll say? Do y'all agree with that?"

"Mhn!" Emuna, Lazarus and Yudia shook their heads.

"Alright, it's settled then!" Zaboulon said as he turned to the ball stand. "Let's go over there then!"

"Yea!" Emuna, Lazarus and Yudia agreed as they ran towards the ball stand with Zaboulon.

-Okay, Emuna. Looks like we'll go over there instead.

Emuna had her share of fun with her friends over. Bumping cars into people, the aquarium, the sea animal show…even with the rollercoaster which she despised. Those were all her memories which she had the pleasure of having some fun with them. After Emuna and her friends completed doing their fun activities in Aqua World, Emuna turned to her friends.

"Okay, guys. Let's go get some snacks first before we go home," Emuna suggested, grinning at her friends.

"Sure," her friends agreed, looking around the area. Then their eyes spotted an ice cream cone stand.

"Hey, let's go get some ice cream stand! What do y'all say?!" Yudia announced, pointing her finger at the ice cream stand.

"Yea, sure thing…totally," Emuna, Zaboulon and Lazarus agreed as they walked towards the ice cream stand with Yudia.

After Emuna and her friends ordered some ice cream, they sat at the bench and ate it there.

"So did you guys have some fun today?" Emuna asked.

Yudia, Zaboulon and Lazarus took a spoonful of their ice cream. "Yea, we sure did!"

"Good," Emuna said, eating her vanilla ice cream. "So are y'all ready to work on our art project tomorrow morning?"

"Yep, we sure are," her friends responded.

"We're doin' John 4 tomorrow, right?" Yudia questioned, eating her strawberry ice cream.

"Yea, we will," Emuna answered.

"Alright, I'm jus' makin' sure," Yudia said.

"And what do y'all wanna do on Saturday after we work on our art project and on Sunday after ministry work?" Emuna asked.

"Ummm…" her friends tried to come up with an answer, but couldn't come up with any. "I don't know."

"Okay, well…" Emuna placed her finger on her chin and looked up at the evening sky. "Hmmm…" After a while, her eyes widened and returned her attention to her friends. "How 'bout we go to the arcades on Saturday and go out skating on Sunday? We haven't done those things in a while."

"Yea, that doesn't sound like a bad idea," her friends agreed, eating their ice cream.

Once Emuna and her friends completely finished their ice cream and threw their trash into the trash can, they immediately left Aqua World. Once they walked a bit far away from Aqua World, Zaboulon felt something pulled out of his back pocket.

"Huh?!" Zaboulon quickly checked one of his back pockets. He widened his eyes when he realized something was very wrong. "Oh, no, no, no. My wallet's been stolen!"

"What?!" Emuna, Lazarus and Yudia asked when they watched Zaboulon turn around to search for the thief.

-No way, this can't be happenin'! I can't believe someone pick pocketed Zaboulon! Unbelievable!
