(S1) Chapter 4 - The Books

Haywin’s blades glinted in the sunlight as she approached the man standing on the robot’s shoulder.

He sneered at her. His white cloak fluttering in the wind as he prepared to defend himself.

“Do you think you can defeat us this easily? We pray for your downfall, people of Helmvel!”

Haywin did not let his words faze her. She launched a series of precise and powerful attacks from her sword, her blades flashing through the air as she sought to end the man’s life.

The man fought back with all his might. His sword a blur of motion as he tried to fend off Haywin’s attacks. But he was no match for her skill and determination. And it did not take too long before she landed a decisive blow, cutting through the man’s abdomen, a splatter of blood gushed from his body as he let himself fall down. The robot caught him with its other hand, and placed him inside of it.

The robot started shaking its arm where Haywin stood aggressively, so much so that it forced her to jump off it. Leaving the robot to fly away. Haywin took a moment to catch her breath, knowing that she lost her target.

“This is Soldier Vel011. The target has escaped my reach…”

Report the case.

“There was a man… Two men, they left the Tower in shambles, and stole a number of books.”

They stole a number of books?

“Yes. I don’t know why.”

Haywin! Evacuate from that surface, immediately!

“General?-“

*KA-BOOM!*

The entire Tower exploded from the inside. Haywin stood in shock as she spectated the smokes and fires erupting from the Tower. She couldn’t believe what just happened, she just finished a fight with a mysterious man, and now the Tower was destroyed. Why?

Haywin. Haywin! Report!

“I am stable, General Excis.”

Thank God. 08 is on his way to you.

“I am already here, General.”

Haywin turned her head, and there she saw a young man. He wore the same type of battlesuit she wore, the right side of his hair was noticeably thinner than the other side. His hair was long, dark blue, and wore a set of dark blue eyes. A handsome looking individual.

“Are you alright?” He asked

“Yes. I’m fine. Thank you for asking.”
