Nothing ever happens here.

Morita Ryoichi is spacing out again while watching over the food stands, but this isn’t the zone he is supposed to be watching over, one of his colleagues had to go to the bathroom and he happened to pass by when that happened. Once the guy came back he immediately found out Ryoichi was in his own world.

“Thanks, I guess, for covering me, Morita-san.”

Ryoichi, still lost in his thoughts, took a second before answering.

“Ah? Eh, so you are back…”

“Ikeda, Ikeda Hideo. I’ve been working here for 2 years by the way.”

“Ikeda-san, oh yeah you have been, well that’s that, see you.”

“You know…” said Ikeda as Ryoichi attempted to walk away. “you should really not push your luck too much, there is a chance you might get fired if something happens.” His tone was braggy, he wanted to impose fear on his colleague.

However, this one answered without even facing towards him:

“Yeah but everyone knows that nothing ever happens in the food stands.”

“But what if something DO happens?”

“Then I’ll be counting on you to handle it, keep up the good work!” Said as he walked away.

That is Morita Ryoichi for you, never taking anything too seriously.

No long after while he was doing his rounds another colleague asked him:

“Hey, Morita-san, have you seen Ikeda-san?”

“Who is that?” He replied.
