Wake up

" Well, It's too noisy in here! I might as well go to bed! " Terry shouted to his parents. He landed heavy steps as he climbed the stairs, went inside his room, and slammed the door. He jumped to his bed, face down on the mattress and started crying silently. The rain poured outside. His life took a bad turn yesterday. He tried to painfully recall what happened last week. He and his girlfriend were walking to the train station with his sister. They were waiting in line when a drunk man pushed the crowd with a knife, causing a stampede of panic. Screaming, crying, and exclaiming, Terry tried to protect them both. But the surge of the crowd was too strong and all of them fell in the tracks. Then, a speeding train was going towards them, honking. The fallen people were clambering and screaming to get back up. And then...then....it was too painful to recall. He somehow survived, but they did not. He could hear the news on the TV downstairs: " 63 people died in a train incident yesterday at the Percival Station. Mourners came to the station to bring flowers, letters, and plush toys to their deceased loved ones...".  Things did not improve the day he was released from the hospital. His parents blamed him for his sister's death. They shouted at him, threatened him, and even said they wished he was never born. His friends at school turned on him, too. It felt quiet without his girlfriend talking to him on facetime. All those memories they had together were now history, but he could not move on. He cried even more. It was all his fault! He wanted to kill himself! He wanted to bring them back from the dead! He screamed at his pillow and began beating himself with a chair. He grew tired with every hit, and eventually, he lay down in his bed. His eyes were red from crying. He closed his eyes and fell into an uneasy sleep. It was a few moments before he felt that something was wrong. It was unusually hot. " Did I turn on the heater to max heat? " He thought. He then felt some liquid dripping onto his face. It felt unusually painful. Was his ceiling leaking?! He tried to open his eyes, but something was stinging his forehead. With difficulty, he opened his eyes.
