Chapter 0:
After the Limelight: An Unwanted Boom in Fame
why People don't like seeing others succeed?
As if someone manages to grab a larger slice of the pie...A threat to them
There are a lot of people in this world who are unhappy with their own lives, and they find joy in trying to drag other people down with them.
It's like they say—misery loves company, and if they can't be happy, then surely other people shouldn't be either.
I think it's just human jealousy. It's easy to envy those who have more--more resources, more fame, more popularity, or more success..
What a tragic mentality— so counterproductive and self-destructive.
Instead of trying to support each other and build each other up, these people only want to tear others down.
why can't we all just be supportive and cheer each other on?
I find myself curious about Why do people pretend to be someone they are not?
ls it an unfortunate side effect of all the social pressures that society puts upon us? Being constantly told to be a certain way or to meet certain expectations?
Was it because humans are so afraid of being judged or rejected that they hide their true selves and put on this act, just in the hope that other people will like and accept them?
So what makes someone feel like they're living a happy life and fulfilled?
Well—you're never going to truly feel happy or fulfilled if you're not being who you really are.
If you had told me I would catch a famous idol's attention
I would have laughed.
If you had told me the video I took would go viral
I would have laughed.
I was living the quietest life possible but here I am.
A young girl. Caught in the eyes of the world.
How would I survive as a stranger in the limelight?....
