Chapter 5:
Mirhavel, nui vis Mairhom'ein
See you tomorrow, then?
4 words, 18 letters and a single question.
For someone like me, who travels the world;
It is more that just a statement, a question or a request.
It is a promise, a wish and a goal, one that lasts a lifetime.
It is promise to see them again, a wish to live for them to live longer and a goal to continue pushing onwards.
The sentimentality of it goes beyond a simple goodbye
But little less than a greeting;
They say, in this world, good greeting can start a new story
And a bad ending can make a good legend,
Hlair sequid Illin mir surtea voe
(It only takes but a single word to start a meaning for something)
Illiaus admir to
(A hundred to continue it)
Illioer asten to
(A thousand to expand it)
Mil Illiauserth dilh to
(And a hundred thousand to end it.)
Said the wisest of all wise men.
So, why is it that a single question has the power to end a journey that will span the course of history?
Nevertheless, I will bear witness to it, the story that will continue for millennias to pass.
For that is my purpose, my story.
Now, will you continue yours for me?
