Training

The last chapter left off with Seiji being passing out from exhaustion. This is what's next. Seiji wakes up in a futon in a Japanese style room in a forest with a change of clothes and a waft of food coming from a nearby room.

He gets up and walks out of the room and closes the door behind him and walks towards the kitchen to see a brown-haired man wearing a tank top and jeans cooking seafood. "Oi old man. Where am I and what the hell's going on?" Seiji questions. "Hold on there kid. Let me explain. First of all my name is Sota Sato and I'm a stringer." Sato explains.

Seiji summons a blade quickly. "A Stringer!? Are you with the serpents!?" Seiji interrogates."You can put the sword down. Think about it. If I was going to kill you I would've done it already." Sato retorts. "How could I know you aren't plotting something!? You and your man bun are suspicious here! So you better start talking before I start cutting!" Seiji shouts.

"Alright I guess I'll start. I know you're a stringer with special powers and I want to harness your power to take down the leader of the serpents. That bastard took my daughter and.. you don't need to know. Listen. I can't beat him but with the right training you definitely can." Sato explains. Seiji makes his sword disappear. "Alright pops. I'll bite. I'll do as you say. That bastard's making my life hell so I'll take revenge for you and me. Teach me how to use my powers." Seiji asks.

"All right then. Your training begins after dinner." Sota lays out two plates of spicy tuna rolls with soy sauce. "Whoa old man you can really cook! Thanks for the food!" Seiji exclaims. Seiji picks up his chopsticks and eats one of the rolls. His eyes widen. "This is amazing! You're an amazing cook old man!" Seiji declares. 

"My names not... Forget it. Thank you anyway." Sato retorts. After the meal, Sato sits up. "Alright. Come outside with me and your training will begin." Sato announces. "Hehe! Alright! This is gonna be good!" Seiji exclaims.

The two of them step outside. "So what's first?" Seiji ponders. "At your current level you can only unlock about 5 percent of your true power even while enraged. So that "Starlight Arrow" move isn't even close to what you can do. So here's how I'll train you. This is my stringer power." Sato reveals.

Sato focuses his hand towards Seiji and Seiji starts floating. "Woah...Woah! What the hell is this!?" Seiji asks. "I was given the power of telekinesis. I can lift and throw objects at will. Now..." Sato replies. Sota lifts Seiji down. "I have more experience AND im stronger than you are. Come at me like you want to kill me."

"You sure old man? Well if you insist..." Seiji replies. Seiji summons his twin blades. "Then who am I to not accept!" Seiji taunts. He dashes towards Sato and Sato dodges."You've gotten too cocky." Sato declares. Sato proceeds to lift Seiji up and slam him down onto the dirt. He takes Seiji and flings him onto a tree and he's knocked down onto the floor kneeling.

"You're really strong old man... But I'll still win this!" Seiji grunts. He stands up and rushes Sato. Sato stands in place and as Seiji swings wildly, Sota is slowly moving backward dodging all his slices with ease.

"Come on. If you want to hit your target don't swing wildly. Focus your slices on places you wish to hit." Sato instructs. Seiji starts to swing faster and faster until his eye starts to flicker yellow.

"Shit. I better end this quick." Sato declares. And in an instant Seiji is knocked out." Sota walks up next to Seiji.

"That was close. He was about to go too far. He wasn't bad but this is not even close to enough to beat the leader. This is only the beginning. Seiji Bushida... You'll be the one to defeat him. And I'll get my revenge on that bastard."
