Chapter 24:
Lucky Draw [100 word stories]
My dearest day,
It stings to admit you were right; I was a coward afraid of losing myself. Leaving you has left me hollow. When our lives touched for the first time, you started bleeding into me and I into you. Out of red and blue we became purple. Our long and longing nights spent huddled up beneath a blanket, skin running over skin, always tempting, barely teasing, moulded me into who I am today.
To leave you, was to leave a part of me behind. If you’ll allow me, I’m ready to reclaim it.
Forever yours,
your darkest night.
