How should people interact?

A general question, sure, but a rather useful one. Humanity’s core tenet is socialization. It’s our driving force and where we tend to find our purpose. By the implications of this question, surely there must be a proper and improper way to behave. Objectively speaking? Well, that’s arguable. But, according to my experiences, there is most certainly one mode of behavior that will yield more benefit than any other—a mode that will make others find you more interesting and a mode that will automatically increase your likeability. So, what is this secret to interaction? It’s so incredibly simple that it could be summarized in two words: listen and love. Do not converse simply to dump your ideas onto others, converse to gain their knowledge. And if you don’t feel genuinely interested in their tales, make yourself interested. Additionally, hate less. Negativity spreads. Negativity builds negative associations and bad memories. Nobody wants to hang around the guy that sleeps and bathes in misery. Love more.
