A new country, a new language, a new family. Massimo, an introspective student, has chosen to study in Florence for his junior year of college. Although he is initially under the impression that he will only be staying with his host mother, Mas discovers upon entering his host mother's home that he will also be living with a girl around his age named Rosa. What are the chances?

Mas wishes to get to know Rosa better, a goal made all the more difficult by Rosa's reserved nature and difficult-to-ascertain expressions. Perhaps they have more in common than they first thought. How will they deal with being subjected to the antics of this host mother?
