Prologue

"Hey, What's taking you so long? You can't even set up a camera quickly?" she teased me.

At this point, I am getting too used to this teasing nature of hers. She keeps teasing me any chance she gets. Not like it is annoying for me but it makes me kinda want to get back at her. But I am really bad at these kinds of things.

"Well then, why don't you come here and try if you think it is so easy to set up a camera? It hasn't even been two minutes yet." I replied.

"Well, I am not the child of some famous WeTubers here. You are, and you don't even know how to set up a camera?" 

"First of all, we are not FAMOUS. Second, I am not the one who sets up the camera when recording and I haven't even gone close to the camera for a lot of time now"

"Come on, you guys are plenty famous, and don't make excuses for your stupidity."

"Wait a minute, how come not being able to set up a camera in a minute is stupidity?"

"I dunno, I just know you are stupid."

"THIS GIRL..." I thought to myself. "In the first place, it was not even my idea to do this. You are the one who came up with this idea." I said to her.

"Well, we are doing this for you though."

"Uhhh... Can't argue with that. But I am sure you just want to try to do it for yourself too."

'Hehe, No Comments. Now, come on, hurry up."

"Yeah, I am doing it. You are the one distracting me. And, why do we even need all this equipment? Can't we just use a mobile? This is just an intro video anyways. "

"We can't do that. The first impression is everything. Not like someone as stupid as you can understand."

"Yeah Yeah, Miss Intelligent," I said with a tone of sarcasm. She pouted but didn't reply.

I completed setting up the camera meanwhile she just stood there watching with a smile on her face. When I felt that everything was fine I told her that we can start recording. Her smile brightened. The summer was just starting so it was a little hot. I don't understand how someone can feel so energetic in this heat.

"It is finally time I guess," she said with her bright smile.

"Yeah, But what are we even going to talk about?" I raised the most important question right now. Even though we had set up everything, we had yet to talk about what in the world are we actually going to say in front of this camera.

"Hmm? We have to think about that? Can't we just say whatever comes to mind?"

"Uhhhh... Seriously what am I going to do with you? And I am the one who gets called stupid all the time"

"What? Did I say something wrong?"

"Yeah, something wrong and incredibly stupid."

"Doesn't matter. Let's start recording."

" Yeah Yeah," I said to her. "We are definitely going to mess this up," I thought to myself and started the camera. Then I went and stood next to her, all tense.

"Hello Everyone watching this video, my name is Sando Kayo and this tense monkey next to me is Okawa Kazuki." She said gleefully in the camera as she insulted me without any care.

"Hey, isn't that rude?"

"No, it isn't. Friends are allowed to insult each other. Anyways, we are starting this WeTube channel and we will upload here... Hey what are we going to upload here?" She totally ignored my question and directed this question to me. You won't find so blissfully airheaded people like her nowadays so easily. Although, I did know someone like her.

"That's why I said we have to properly plan a video." I reminded her.

"Well... the two of us will just upload whatever we do."

"You mean we will do vlogging."

"Yeah, that."

"Don't give me 'that' you airheaded idiot! Think these things through before." I lost patience.

"Hey, you just insulted me. That's rude!" She said while pouting.

"So you can insult me, but I can't insult you. What are these rules?!"

"Yeah, I can, you idiot!"

"No, clearly you are the idiot here!"

"No, I am not!" And we just started fighting each other while insulting each other like some kids as the camera kept recording all of that.

It was nostalgic. I remember this feeling that I had forgotten for some time. Just a few days back, I would have never even thought that I would be able to be happy like that ever again. If I would be able to fight like this or laugh like this again. I wonder if we hadn't met that day, I would have been able to get out of this darkness or not.
