2045 - The Third World War

A lot of accounts mentioned that it started because of the economic collapse of Saudi Arabia, the value of oil dropped as a consequence of advancements in other forms of energy, most notably solar. The European Nations were among the first to adapt the new form of technology in a massive scale, making them less reliant to nations such as Russia and the United States, which in turn impeded their economic strength. While Russia still supplies oil to some of it's communist allies, who in turn stayed resilient to the new age, the ever growing efficiency of solar energy proved to be popular in the Western countries.

As the price of oil drops to an all time low, the United States economy is jeopardize when their allies no longer seek the abundance of the resource they produced, leaving them with a lot of reserves. With the ever growing capabilty of Eastern Nations in the manufacturing of cheap electronic goods, the United States is now left with their most lucrative resource, military.

America has always been a superpower when it comes to providing service of their armed men. In the recent years, as globalization became more popular, people no longer seeked conflict in the real world. The rise of the internet has made everyone lives a sedimentary while jobs and tasks are left to the ever growing power of Artificial Intelligence. The governments, too ignorant of the capabilities of AI, while proving efficiency in it's economy, has now given turmoil among it's societies.

Seeing as what was about to happen, the old men of the United States made a drastic decision. They tried to convince the President to give rise for conflict on the Southeast Asian countries, by using spies and infiltrating important positions in each respective goverments. With tensions rising in the Eastern sea, the United States will be able to provide their services to those in need, allowing them to procure a sum of money and produce more conflicts.
