Chapter 18:

REMAID- Moments In Time #3- Sept 13th-Sept 15th

My Grandma's Loving Maid Is My Classroom Neighbor?!

September 13th, 2023

Well, grandma, I know you were very entertained by the past few entries (and were upset by the points I cut out), but I’m afraid to inform you that things were nowhere near as entertaining today. You can take your complaints to Tanya, she’ll know what to do with them. Starting out, I woke up early for the sake of getting your breakfast ready before Tanya woke up. So, hopefully breakfast today wasn’t too bad. I did my best to make an omelet but I may not be as skilled with eggs as I assumed. Regardless, that’s something off Tanya’s plate, and that’s probably the most important thing.

After that was school. School was…interesting. Everyone was deathly quiet around us, as if interacting with us meant invoking the wrath of god himself. Regardless, we still managed fine. At the very least the teachers weren’t too worried about us yet, although now that I knew the ignoring or bullying of Rimi was in fact intentional, by all parties, I had become rather frustrated by how even the teachers seemed so gleefully in on it, as if they were punishing the rebirth of satan. It boiled my blood, but I already knew there was fuck all I could do. So, I did my best to ignore it, thinking up ways I could make Rimi’s day better instead.

We did have a minor incident in PE though. I should also mention that Miura has still yet to show his face again at school, so that’s a bit of a blessing. No, what happened in PE was a guy legitimately asking if he could race me for Mina. To which I happily told him that he’d sooner trip over his own dick than place his lips on Mina.

Mina then proceeded to boot him in the ass.

The sounds of his crying were generally rather enjoyable.

Anyways, what I really should be talking about is just how fucked of a meet up we had at the cafe. First off, I think I gave Mina the impression this was going to be a date of some sort, because I was promptly yelled at for trying to cheat on a girlfriend I had just gotten. Once I cleared up that, no, I wasn’t a scumbag and, yes, this was only a regular meetup, I was treated with a strange…kindness? Like, she seemed sincerely happy to be going with us and was absolutely smitten with me. I’ve come to the conclusion that Mina Ryuga is absolutely batshit and I’ll never understand her.

Grandma’s note- Actually, I was informed that she was happy for free drinks and food. So, in short, I suggest you work on your cooking skills if you want this harem thing to work.

My note- No.

Grandma’s note- Cunt.

We arrived at this small ass café that I’d seen due to my tour with Rimi and, well, I was rather violently introduced to the waitresses of that café, who all were very…very hungry for tips. Apparently working at a village café doesn’t pay super well, so you’re gonna get very unsolicited, very bizarre offers for specials or special favors. Anyways, it didn’t really matter to me all too much, because I could happily imagine Rimi in said situations, and feel grateful for my amazing and wonderful girlfriend.

Anyway, where was I?

Oh yeah, let’s talk about the coffee.

Or, more preferably, the brown toilet water that requires so much cream and sugar to be decent that it’s honestly not worth it. Watching those two drink it down left me feeling like I was insane. I downed it to make sure I wasn’t standing out. When the slices of pie came however, I found something worth the trip. Finding something so satisfying after such disappointment truly is a blessing…until I’m the one left to pay the bill.

I don’t see myself going back anytime soon. At least Rimi and Mina were happy. Their faces are so cute when they smile…

September 15th, 2023

Today Tanya told me she doesn’t know what love is.

We were cleaning the kitchen counters. I had involved myself because I was free at the time. We were filling the time of cleaning with some friendly banter to hopefully make the time pass faster. We talked about desserts, about novels she had read in the past, and somehow, we got on the topic of her old husband. Before this point, all I knew was that she had married him at 18, and left him at 18. She had adopted Mina the same year, when she was just 10.

What I hadn’t known yet was just how painful her marriage was for her. Tatsuki Ryuga, leader of his branch of Ryuga Munitions, did not view her as someone either deserving of his love, or simply did not care enough to see who she really was. Rather, she was a woman “taken pity” on from an area where nobody should have to live. She did not go far into what her life was like before Tatsuki. Just that it was painful, and if she was thankful for anything, it was that her marriage had allowed her to escape that place.

However, she never loved her husband. That much she was certain of. She told me she wasn’t sure if she ever loved anyone, or if she did, they didn’t stick around her long enough for it to matter. So, left in an empty marriage, she one day came across a poor little red-haired girl with nobody at all, stuck in an emotionless orphanage. She said that was the first time she felt any true love. It was for Mina, and it was a motherly love. She managed to convince Tatsuki to help her adopt the girl, and almost as an act to shut his wife up, did as he was asked. This action was, without question, the one to cause everything to fall apart. In a loveless home, Tanya knew Mina would suffer. She felt, as long as they had each other, they would find a way to make things work.

So, the two left, and came to the cheapest, remote place Tanya could find. The rest…is history. Her eyes throughout were void of life. Even though she had her daughter, she had a desire she couldn’t voice.

A desire to be loved by another adult.

She attempted to hide her sadness after, but I didn’t believe it in the slightest.

I hope…I hope there’s someone out there for her. Anyone.
