It’s been a while since Yetil came back. Shihan had been awake for at least two days now, not hearing, feeling, smelling, anything related to a person near the room. She must have been caught in some trouble.

Shihan took this as an opportunity to escape. The drug was all out of his system by now.

All rugged and in the dark, he knocked on his own apartment door.

‘Please, Mahne. Please. Please.’

His knocks got weaker and weaker each time.

Shihan heard footsteps from inside the apartment.

‘Who is it?’ the voice in the apartment calls.

Shihan barely called out his name, before falling unconscious at the door.
