Chapter 159:

Chapter 159 Olivia's Kind Gesture

Content of the Magic Box

Suzuka couldn't contain her laughter as she watched Hermit's hilarious accident, quivering in the toilet with his back hunched, shrouded in his own filth while crying. Tears of amusement streamed down her face as she gasped for breath between fits of laughter.

"Bwahaha! Oh, Olivia, you have to see this. This idiot goblin can't even manage to take a poop without an accident. Hahaha!" Suzuka cried, struggling to regain her composure.

Olivia entered the room and cast a sympathetic glance at the sad creature, standing in the toilet, overwhelmed by shame and despair. Desperately trying to rub away the feces off his scrawny body and making it worse by smearing feces all over himself.

Despite Suzuka's laughter, Olivia chose compassion over mockery. Ignoring the amusement in the air, she approached Hermit with a gentle smile and caring touch.

Olivia removed the soiled tank top from the embarrassed goblin and carefully dropped it into the sink. With a small towel in hand, she meticulously wiped away the filth that clung to Hermit's body, trying to ease his shame and embarrassment.

"Oh, poor little guy," Olivia said with a sad tone, "You really got yourself into a mess, didn't you? But don't worry, I will clean you up, you will be as good as new in no time."

Hermit looked up at Olivia with big, sad eyes, as his manure slid down his face, still feeling mortified by the entire situation.

Suzuka's laughter subsided as she watched Olivia's kind gesture. She couldn't help but smile at her girlfriend's caring nature, even in the most absurd situations.

"Well, it seems you're in good hands now, Hermit," Suzuka said, trying to suppress her laughter, "You better be grateful."

Olivia filled the sink with water and carefully placed Hermit in the makeshift bath, gently washing away the filth that clung to him from the toilet accident. As she cleaned him, Hermit's expression shifted from embarrassment to relief and gratitude.

"Thank you, Master Olivia. Hermit is ashamed, I am so sorry that you have to witness such a humiliating scene. Hermit is very sorry that you had to soil your beautiful hands cleaning Hermit, I am terribly sorry." Hermit mumbled softly, his tiny voice filled with both embarrassment and appreciation.

"You're welcome," Olivia replied with a worm smile, "Just be a bit more careful next time, okay? And you can call me Olivia, you are not a slave and I am not your master."

As Hermit shook his head, Suzuka couldn't help but chuckle again, finding the situation oddly endearing.

"Yes, Hermit, you should probably stick to less adventurous places for your swimming yarns," she joked.

Hermit passively declined Olivia's generous offer.

"Oh, no, Master Olivia! That would be too kind of you. Hermit is but a vile creature, a lowly slave. Addressing Master by name would be an insult."

Olivia, unfazed by his protest, gently lifted him from the sink and placed him on the table then meticulously dried off any lingering moisture, treating him with unexpected tenderness.

"As you wish, little guy. But remember, if you ever feel comfortable, you can call me just Olivia."

A joyous twinkle sparkled in Hermit's eyes as he giggled and danced happily on the sink table, unburdened by the weight of his past. Olivia reached for his shorts, her hands radiating care and compassion.

"Thank you for showing such kindness, Master Olivia. Hermit is truly grateful. Thank you, thank you."

With a grateful heart, he donned his shorts, feeling a sense of renewal wash over him. Now refreshed and presentable once again, Hermit found himself in the arms of Suzuka as Olivia entrusted him to her care.

"Please, Suzu, take care of him while I wash his shirt," Olivia requested, a touch of warmth in her voice.

Suzuka accepted the goblin into her arms, her gaze filled with a mix of responsibility and affection. As she walked out of the restroom, carrying the puny creature, she playfully tossed him onto the bed before addressing him with a hint of irritation. Hermit's limp body landed on the soft bed with a whimper, "Ghhee," as he hit the bed on his belly.

"You little scamp, 'Little Shit' should be your name. Why must you have such a tendency for smearing yourself with poop? Hmm? You left my restroom reeking worse than a pigpen. But fear not, I will think of something for you to redeem yourself."

The goblin lay flat on the bed, his voice tinged with sorrow.

"I'm sorry, Master, I didn't mean to. It was an accident, I swear on my ears! Hermit slipped and fell in," he whispered, his words carrying a heavy burden of guilt.

Olivia emerged from the restroom, a sense of unease lingering in the air. She glanced at the goblin, her gaze filled with sympathy.

"I left his shirt to dry in the restroom. You should check on it in a few hours. I must admit, this evening has taken an unexpected turn. However, it is growing late, and I believe it's time for me to take my leave."

Suzuka, not wanting to bid farewell to her girlfriend just yet, made a playful attempt to persuade her.

"What? Leaving so soon? Come on, stay the night. My bed is soft and ready for your company. If the goblin bothers you, I'll lock him in the restroom while we sleep."

Olivia smiled kindly at Suzuka, a touch of sadness in her eyes.

"It's a tempting offer, my love, but I'm afraid I'll have to take a rain check for today."

Hermit, sensing Olivia's impending departure reacted with desperation. As she made her way towards the door, he suddenly leaped off the bed, his tiny form catapulting towards her like a goblin possessed. He clung to Olivia's leg with all his might, his grip fierce and unyielding, as if trying to bind her to him through sheer grit. His voice trembled with emotion, filling the room with a pleading tone that could tug at even the coldest of hearts.

"Master Olivia, oh Master Olivia!" he cried out, his voice a symphony of desperation and longing.

"Please, don't leave me! I am but a pitiful goblin, lost in the vastness of this cruel world. All Hermit desires are warm embraces and comforting cuddles, for your touch is like a balm to my tortured soul."

Tears welled up in his big, expressive eyes, glistening like precious gems, as he continued to pour his heart out.

"The thought of sleeping alone fills me with overwhelming fear. Hermit despises the solitude of the night. Hermit has known nothing but the closeness of his fellow hatchling slaves, huddled together in a fragile pile of goblins, seeking warmth and solace in each other's embrace. The memories of those precious bonds bring tears to my eyes, and the loneliness of sleeping alone is a haunting echo of the terrors I experienced in the cold forest, stranded naked and alone in the bone-chilling cold."

His grip on her leg tightened, and tears streamed down his messy face.

"I'm just a pitiful goblin, yearning for a sliver of kindness in this harsh world," he sobbed, his cries echoing through the room like a wounded animal.

"Please, don't leave me in this sea of desolation, where the waves of despair threaten to consume me whole. Please! Affection, Master Olivia! Please, Master Olivia, grant me the tender affection I so desperately crave. Wrap me in your caring arms."

Hermit clung tightly to Olivia's leg, his entire being trembling with emotion. He had bared his deepest fears and longings, hoping that his sincerity would touch her heart and lead her to extend the gift of her affection.

Olivia, with a touch of compassion in her heart, conceded to Hermit's plea and agreed to stay for a few minutes. She positioned herself next to Suzuka, Hermit nestled upon her lap, his small hands pressed together in a shy and vulnerable manner.

While she played with Hermit's big ears, Olivia's voice carried a hint of tenderness as she asked, "Well then, little goblin, why don't you tell us about yourself?"

Hermit, feeling the weight of his tragic past, swallowed hard, his voice trembling with a mixture of pain and sadness. With his gaze downcast, he began a sorrowful tale.

"Since Hermit was nothing but a hatchling, fresh out of his egg," he began, his words weighed down by the burden of his past, "I was but a lowly goblin, hatched into a life of captivity within the confines of a cruel goblin breeding farm. From the moment I drew my first breath, my destiny was sealed, for I was but a mere slave."

His voice quivered as he continued, painting a haunting picture of his existence.

"As a young goblin, I was stripped of any semblance of love or protection. The greedy overseers reveled in their control, forcing us into treacherous mines, our frail bodies subjected to backbreaking labor in search of valuable resources. Digging the holes in the dirt with no tools only using our fragile hands until we build massive mines or die from exhaustion."

A heavy sigh escaped Hermit's lips, his tiny frame shuddering with the weight of his memories.

"Day after day, we struggled in the darkness, our spirits crushed beneath the weight of cruelty and despair. Each swing of our feeble hands was a painful reminder of our captivity, our hopes for freedom slowly eroding with each passing moment."

His voice cracked with emotion as he recounted the heart-wrenching experiences.

"Friendships were forged and shattered within those suffocating tunnels. The walls echoed with our cries when tunnels collapsed and buried us alive. Many of my fellow goblins succumbed to the unforgiving conditions, their lives extinguished, their dreams forever shattered. The lucky ones dug themselves out of the dirt like worms only to get beaten and thrown back again to mine. Hermit still remembers the blinding darkness and lack of air."

A heavy sigh escaped Hermit's lips, carrying the weight of years spent in slavery.

"Days blurred into nights, and nights into days, as time lost all meaning in that wretched place. I toiled endlessly, my frail body collapsing many times only to be dragged by fellow slaves."

He paused, his gaze fixed on a distant memory that still haunted him.

"I longed for freedom, for a life beyond the clutches of captivity. Yet, hope was a fleeting dream, snatched away as quickly as it emerged. I had resigned myself to a lifetime of captivity, my spirit crushed under the weight of relentless oppression."

Hermit whispered, his voice tinged with sadness.

"Then I was thrown to another desolate goblin breeding farm, trapped within its grim walls. My existence there was reduced to a mere thing. Forced into the treacherous task of gathering food in the heart of a forest teeming with monstrous creatures."

His eyes glistened with unshed tears, his voice quivering with the weight of past horrors.

"Each day, I would venture into the depths of the scary forest, fear gripping my heart like icy tendrils. The towering trees loomed above me, their gnarled branches installing fear and despair. Shadows danced among the foliage, concealing unimaginable dangers that lurked just beyond sight. Dark, cold nights spend buried in the ground in an attempt to hide from monsters. Trembling from both fear, hunger, and cold, naked and all alone."

Hermit's voice quivered as he continued, "Monstrous beasts with razor-sharp fangs and venomous claws prowled the forest floor, hungry for the taste of goblin flesh. Every step I took was plagued by the fear of being snatched away. Yet, I had no choice but to press on, driven by the cruel commands of my heartless captors."

Tears welled in Hermit's eyes, his small form quaking with the weight of his tragic past.

"Days turned into months, and months into years, my existence a monotonous cycle of anguish and despair. The scars on my body and soul bear witness to the countless brushes with death, the endless nights spent in a state of endless fear."

His voice grew softer, barely above a whisper.

"But in the depths of my despair, a glimmer of hope emerged. The encounter with Larry, the one who saw beyond my wretched exterior and offered me a chance at redemption, a flicker of light in the darkness. He became my savior, pulling me from the clutches of a worthless life of a slave."

As Hermit spoke, his weariness weighed heavily upon him, his eyelids growing heavier with each passing word. The goblin's voice dwindled into mere murmurs, fading into the realm of sleep. Fatigue clung to his form, draining his energy as he lay in Olivia's lap, completely limp and lifeless. His chest rose and fell in shallow breaths, a feeble sign of life amidst the deep slumber that engulfed him.

With gentle care, Olivia tenderly lifted the exhausted goblin from her lap, his limbs dangling in the air like soggy noodles. His once lively ears, now devoid of their usual vigor, drooped like wilted flags. Cradling him with delicate hands, she placed him on Suzuka's bed.

In a hushed tone, Olivia whispered, "The little guy has succumbed to sleep. I believe it's time for me to take my leave. I'll see you tomorrow, Suzu."

Suzuka, though reluctant to see her girlfriend depart, understood the importance of granting space and solitude when needed. Realizing that persuading Olivia to stay the night would be futile, she offered a parting response with a touch of wistfulness, "It would have been really nice if you stayed but I guess I see you around. Have a great night."

With a soft closing of the doors behind her, Olivia left the room, leaving Suzuka alone with the slumbering goblin. The quietness of the chamber enveloped them, allowing Suzuka to contemplate the events that had transpired. As she gazed upon Hermit's peaceful form, a mixture of concern and intrigue swirled within her.
