The Great Tutor

The day began dimmer than usual which was weird, it took a while before the sun rays began creeping through my drapes. The birds began chirping which was relaxing considering the time, I went to move my drapes for more light to get into my room and it was drizzling, the clouds seemed like it just got done showering us with a heavy downpour of rain. The streets are all wet and there are puddles everywhere, all the plants have been watered.. maybe over watered? I took a deep breath and the air was really refreshing, I checked the time 6:37 and I should be at school by 7:30 at the latest, maybe I should start getting prepared. First things first, I got to take a shower.

After I was done with my shower, I went downstairs to grab a quick breakfast and also my bento box before heading out. While going out, I looked into the mirror and saw how messy my hair was "Ahh, I gotta fix it now" When checking my hair, I remembered I had to double check if I had everything in my bag: Phone, my books, hair brush and what's this? Looks like a necklace with a broken heart dangling on it, how'd it get in my bag? Maybe it's Yuki's? Or my mom's ? I'd ask them before I head out, firstly breakfast. When I was walking to the stairs, Yuki had just waking up and she looked like a mess and her hair was as messy as mine.

"Oh you're about to go to school?" She asked "Mom went earlier today, she said she had important work to handle at work today."

"Ah I wanted to ask if this her necklace."

"Let me see it." She took the necklace from my hand. "No, it isn't" She said while returning it.

"Oh, it isn't yours either?"

"Nah I would know if it was for me"

"Oh alright. Is Rie still sleeping?"

"Yeah I was about to go wake her up, also your lunch box is in the kitchen" While walking down the stairs.

"Okay, thank you"

She just put her hand up without saying you're welcome, geez. When I went down, I got myself some cereal to eat before going out. Karu and Nick both came so we can walk to school together. On our way to school, Nick talked about this game he has been playing recently..J-jenshin Impacz, I'd check it out after school if I remember. I also brought up a topic on the necklace I found in my bag and asked them.

"Huh? It's yours Hiro" Karu said while looking at it.

"Wait Really?"

"Yeah you got it as a birthday gift from someone" Karu replied with a smirk on his face.

"Who gave it to me?"

"I don't know" Karu said while shrugging.

I looked at Nick for answers but he immediately said "Don't bring me into this"

"Ugh I'll find out myself"

"Okay~" Karu replied teasingly. Nick copied Karu and said the same thing "Okay~"

"You know the both of you are a pain in the butt right?"

At school, when we finally got to class, there were a lot people asking how I was...it was too much for me. Nick and Karu had to tell people to move and give me space, there was a free seat in front of my seat.. I thought everyone was already present in class though. Then I saw Haruka walking through the front class door and sat down in the free seat in front of me. It looks like she's annoyed and it seems like she hasn't noticed me yet, she then accidentally hit her elbow on my desk when bringing out her books it was right then she noticed me.

"Ah, good morning Hiroshi" She said as her expression changed from being annoyed to a huge smile.

"Good morning"

"Hehe, I hope you didn't forget about our tutoring session?" She asked while bringing out her writing materials.

"O-oh no, I didn't"

"That's nice, well class is about to start..let's talk after sixth period in the library" She said while turning to face the board.

"Okay" I wonder how it's going to be.

The classes I had were pretty much understandable, and all teachers offered me a book that will keep up to date about all the topics and notes I'd missed, which all seemed helpful and I thanked all of them for it. But it's too much for me to know. Before I knew it the sixth period arrived, and I went to the library as Haruka said we would have the lessons. When I got there, she was nowhere in the library, so I waited for her to come. After 3 minutes of waiting, I felt a tap on my shoulder, when I checked to see who it was, a face came very close to my face and whispered "I'm sorry I'm late" It was Haruka, her perfume smelled amazing and she's really pretty when she's this close. I also noticed she's wearing glasses now.

"No, it's fine. Don't worry about it"

" Oh okie" She replied while walking to the seat in front of me "Today I shall be your tutor. You shall call me THE GREAT TUTOR HARUKA" She had this very proud look on her face.

"Oh I see"

"Hehe, so what subject shall we begin with?" She asked while sitting down.

"Math, because I'm normally not good at that"

"Ah alright then. The recent topics haven't even been that complicated"

Time flew away so quickly and I was able to understand a bunch of topics. We met again at the end of school for more tutoring, this time Karu and Nick were also in the library but they didn't interrupt us. It was getting late and we all left to walk home and yet again was Nick talking about his game and other stuff to not make our walk home boring. He made everyone laugh and smile because of his jokes and stories, even Haruka who seemed like she was in a bad mood at first and during school hours was laughing a lot which felt nice to see. We all went our seperate ways to go home as usual. It was already 6PM when I got home, and my mom was already preparing dinner, Yuki and Rie were taking a nap together which was cute. I went to take a shower and changed into my night wear, then I ate dinner and revised the topics Haruka explained to me. I hope tomorrow will be as good as today.
