"Echoes of Love: A second chance.  

[Chapter 5 Start]

"Will you go out with me? Iharu." Aoi said that as she stared into my eyes with shining eyes.

I've never seen her this happy before. I didn't know what to do. I couldn't reject her. My heart said no. But I couldn't accept her either, in that confusion. My mouth started moving:

"I—" As I was trying to say something. I heard:

"It's okay. You can have time to think. You can tell me that later."

As I heard those words. I started to calm down.

"I will go home now. Hope you won't ignore me anymore" I said as I stood up.

"Have a safe journey!" I heard that voice as I exited the room and walk to leave the room. As I left the house, I didn't hear any voice. I was nervous.

"What am I gonna do?" was all over my mind.

It was a holiday tomorrow. As I sat down. My phone got a notification.

*Ting*

"Hello, Iharu! It's me, Saika. I'm free tomorrow. Do you wanna eat something together?"

I didn't know how to react. At that moment. Another message popped up.

*Ting* *Ting*

"Oi Iharu. Let's go somewhere together tomorrow for our school presentation." It was Chako.

"Haiya! Iharu, you made me angry. So now to make me up. You'll have to treat me to some sweets! And luckily I'm free tomorrow!". Ayame also messaged me.

As I was already figuring out what to do. It also came.

*Ting*

"You received a message from Aoi Mei: Wanna go on a date tomorrow?"

Fuck. I'm doomed. My relationship with Chako and Ayame wasn't going already well. When all my group friends had to message me at the same time for tomorrow!

Next day

So, here we are.

"Why is she here!" said Chako, Aoi, Ayame, and Saika.

Look. I didn't get a choice alright.

"Today was a free day, so I thought; wouldn't it be better if all of us were spending time together?"

"But I invited you first!" said the 4.

It was at that moment. That those girls knew. Who their natural enemies were.

"Heh. So that's how it's gonna be huh" Said Chako smirkingly.

"I won't lose!" yelled Ayame.

I knew I shouldn't speak anymore so I stood there silently.

"It's gonna be interesting," Aoi said calmly.

"I agree. But I won't give up!" Saika said cheerily.

"Where have I gotten myself to." I thought worryingly.

"I know a really good cafe here. Why don't we try it out?" I said so it doesn't get awkward.

They all agreed so here we are.

"Don't eat yet!" Ayame yelled.

She pulled a phone out and started taking photos.

"You should cherish memories like this!" Ayame finally said without yelling.

I was honestly annoyed by her constant yelling.

"Yeah yeah, so can we eat now?" I said.

"Sure!" Ayame said excitingly. Didn't yell this time again. Thank god.

"It's sooo goodddd!!" Oh god, she started yelling again.

"Eat your food calmly!" Chako yelled at Ayane. Nice save!

"Oh gosh Chako you're like my mother," Ayame said while whimpering.

It was good. The cake is so good!!

"I like this cafe!" I said happily.

Aoi suddenly looked at me in shock. She gets closer to me.

"You're such a child. You don't even wipe your mouth." Aoi said with a smile. She lift her finger and wiped the whipped cream off my mouth. And licked it!
