The sudden dates II.

"Echoes of Love:  a second chance."

[Chapter 6 Start]

"You're such a child. You don't even wipe your mouth." Aoi said with a smile. She lift her finger and wiped the whipped cream off my mouth. And licked it!

As Chako saw that. She got up and said:

"If you have finished eating, I know this mall nearby! Let's go there and buy some clothes!" She said that passive-aggressively yet I could feel anger from it.

Everyone agreed so we got ready to go to the mall. On the way to the mall, we got ourselves in trouble.

"Oi boy! Aren't you quite lucky huh!?!" I heard that from behind. I saw that Chako started trembling with fear. As I turned around:

"Oi! you thugs! If you do anything to us we'll call the po-police" Ayame said loudly while trembling.

"Hun?!? Call them then. Heh, what're you gonna do after we do the deed?" One of the thugs said laughingly.

"Are you forgetting that I'm here?" I said bravely.

 But in the deep in, I was scared too. But I can't show it since I'm the only one capable of fighting. I learned boxing and taekwondo when I started gym. So I could take them both on. Luckily, a police car was coming this way. 

"Heh, you're out of luck." I said to the thugs while I pointed behind them. 

They turned behind and saw the cop's car.

"You're lucky today." They said as they rushed into the alleyway.

We were saved. Ayake started crying. Chako comforted her.

"If we stay here. We'll only get into trouble. Let's go to the mall." I said as I stared down the alleyway.

Thankfully, when we went to the mall. All of the girls' moods were lightened back. We enjoyed ourselves. As we got out of the mall. Our luck ran out. It was them. The two thugs were standing in front of us.

"You'd thought that we'll let 4 beauties go away that easily?" One of the thugs said.

There was no compromise left. One of the thugs started running at us. I kicked him in the jaw as hard as I could. He fell unconscious. The second guy got scared. I thought he'd run. But as I already said. Our luck ran out.

 He pulled out a knife.

He rushed me with the knife. I dodged the first attack and landed an uppercut. He didn't get unconscious. He attacked me more. I landed some kidney shots so I could escape, yet he followed me instantly.

I kicked him in between his legs as a last resort. He yelled as loudly as he can. I messed up. He grabbed the knife. I kicked him in the face but the trajectory of the knife didn't change. 

It got connected.

The knife connected.

I got stabbed in the abdomen.

Before he could do more. His arm was very close, so I broke it and landed 2 punches in his face. He left the knife on my stomach and ran away screaming. 

My eyes were getting blurry.

All I could hear were the 4 girls' screams.

My strength left my legs. I couldn't stand anymore. My eyes closed. And I fell.
