"Echoes of Love: A second chance."

[Chapter 11 Start]

"Yea, that's what everyone calls it."

I didn't like that reply. I got irritated.

"Do you know where she is right now?" I said.

"Hmm? I don't know. Probably cooped up in her room or something.

"She is your daughter yet you do not even know where she is," I said angrily mentioned.

"Why would I know where that child is?" he replied. But this time, he stopped laughing.

"SHE GOT KIDNAPPED!!!" I yelled to the man.

"Oh? So that child has finally ridden itself for us," he said while laughing.

I couldn't hold it in anymore. I wanted to punch him.

"How could you say that to your own child?!" I said to him angrily.

"For so long you've been saying 'My child, My child' Do you even know anything?" he said to me.

Before I could say anything:

"You know the feeling don't you? The disappointment your father felt. When he found out that you were nothing but incompetent. Didn't he desert you and left you back in Tokyo? Do they even consider you their child anymore?

It was the same with me. The only thing different was, Aoi isn't my child."

I was surprised to hear it. My eyes were wide open. I didn't know what to do anymore.

"Then, can I ask you something?"

I just wanted to save Aoi. I didn't want to dig any further. I stopped involving in the relationship between Aoi and her father.

"You still have something left to ask?" he said.

"Did Aoi have any relation with any thugs of any kind?"

I asked him to find any clue.

"Hmm? As long as I can remember, No. But what happened after she moved with her mother, I don't know."

As I heard that I stood up. I was angry. I didn't want to be there anymore. I left his house and rushed to the train station. Luckily, I got a train back to Tokyo quickly.
