Chapter 1:

Chapter 1: Craziest Dream

AntiGod

As I slowly released the seals on my eyes, I was greeted with a scenery that radiated warmth.

The infinite sky was a beautiful clear blue and was reflected by the glass-like floor. I felt like I was sitting in the middle of tranquility itself.

I stood up from the floor so that I could fully grasp the scenery around me. I clearly remember the only thought bouncing within my mind just being “WOW!”.

“Is this a dream?”, I asked myself.

“Huh. I think this might actually be my first lucid dream.”

Step by step, as if in hopes of finding something, I began wandering around this seemingly infinite world.

I wondered for a hot minute, and still nothing interesting popped up. By this time I was starting to get a little irritated.

(I once read somewhere that dreams have a connection to events in your life. So I wonder what could be going on for me to dream up something so damn boring…Especially when this is my first Lucid dream too.)

Then as if an asteroid struck at the speed of light, a bright light appeared before me.

The light was blinding; like the sun. I instinctively protected my eyes with my right arm while still holding a small peek -just in case something cool showed up.

It released a powerful shockwave on impact, one strong enough to completely blow me off my feet.

Slowly, the light began to fade, and through it I spotted a very peculiar shaped silhouette.

Actually, the form was more than just peculiar, it was outright jaw dropping. I was left speechless as I gazed upon it.

Since it was only a silhouette, I could only make out two distinct and almost frightening features. I almost thought I was just seeing things, but since this was a dream, there was no mistaking the two enormous wings that followed the upper back. As if it were a pet or a servant following its master. Along with what I could’ve sworn to be the image of a halo hovering over the head.

(Yow. this dream is crazy!)

Beneath the golden rays, the silhouette slowly descended upon the glass-like floor and as the sole of his feet made contact, the scenery around us took a very noticeable transition.

The sky which was a beautiful and clear blue was replaced with a moonlight starry night and the surface reflected its beauty.

While still planted on my butt, I gazed around the scenery in awe of the change.

Along with the change of scenery, the bright light that engulfed its body began to fade and the true image of this random specimen was revealed for all to see.

Its form was that of an adult male, presumably in his late 20’s. He had straight, golden hair that was long enough to reach his back and skin as pale as a vampire’s. As I surmised, he was followed not only by two pure white wings, but a purest white halo to match and not to mention the white battle suit straight out of a Sci-Fi movie.

I’m no genius but I think this guy’s favorite color might just be white. But who's to really say.

Descending upon the surface, step by step, he slowly made his way to me.

“Do not be afraid Akuma, for I have but one small request for you”, he said.

(This random, pulls up in MY dream, with BODY ARMOUR and a damn HALO, and tells me “do not be afraid”?)

Though this guy was definitely lacking in the “self awareness” department, I had far more important questions to ask.

You see, I grew up with three mottos to keep my life on my correct path. The third of those great mottos, was to always ask the most important questions first. And so I did exactly that.

“Dude…”

He reached out his hand to help me raise myself from the floor. And as I extended my hand, I finished my question.

“...Why is my first lucid dream about a random cosplayer?”

.

“...”

We stood in silence for a moment.

I pondered on what could have made him go quiet, and after exhausting my brain I came to one conclusion… This guy must have had to use the bathroom.

(I completely understand angel man. Nothing’s worse than holding on to a big one.)

Then breaking the silence, he let out a small chuckle.

“Out of all the questions, you ask that? And here I was ready to explain how I know your name.”

(Yeah I already know how you know my name. You're in MY dream.)

“No this isn't some dream. Think of it like a phone call.”

(Did he just read my mind? Wait…This is my mind. So then did he read my mind’s mind?! Wow!)

“Pardon me for being rude but we must skip the formalities for now, I'm running out of time you see.”

Suddenly his tone of joy and laughter shifted to one of desperation.

“I need your help, Akuma. I need help in saving my people and the entire universe from-”

“Excuse my interruption mister dream angel but by people do you mean other angels?”

“Yes exactl-”

“You’ve got the wrong guy for the job dream angel. I may be amazing but angles? Hell no!”

“LISTEN!!”, he yelled with a voice of a demand.

His sudden roar spooked me a bit and if that was his intention, It for damn sure worked. I was all ears to anything and everything he said.

“The world as you know it is not how it should be. And I need your help in restoring it to its natural order… It seems I’m running out of time. Before you leave I shall release the seal on your “starlites”. Also, after you leave, please visit the Church of Michael and tell the pope what you saw here.”

As he said those final words, my entire body felt heightened. I felt like my very soul was transcending.

Then the space around me grew distant. Even the ground beneath my feet seemed to be floating away from reality. It was like being in space with no gravity or air pressure.
