#037 Curious George

When George moved to Galloway, he noticed a pattern.

At the farmer’s market, the fisherman was missing his hand.
“What happened?” George asked.
“None of your business, kid!” The fisherman exclaimed.

Later, George met the mailman who was missing her legs.
“What happened to your legs?”

“Careful, George…” She warned him. “Curiosity killed the cat!”

In church, he met the eyeless pastor.
Before George could ask, he said: “You will know when you know.”

One day, George found a hole in the ground; something was twinkling at the bottom.
When he put his head in to look, he finally understood.
