    I ran. I ran and ran. I ran past the streets we had walked down. I ran by restaurants. I ran by stores. I just kept running. I saw the bridge. The bridge we spoke about. It was so close yet so far. I fell down. I got back up. My face hurts. My legs are tired. My heart is beating fast. So fast. Moving fast. Need to get there. Red. My hands have red on them. Why? I keep running. I'm on the bridge. I keep going. You should be here. Was I wrong. I don't see you. I see something. What is it. It's on the ground. I see it. My legs give out as I approach it. I fall to the ground. I look at it again, a white pair of shoes neatly sat together.
