Chapter 0:
Coffee, sugar and love
I often find myself curious about why do people pretend to be someone they are not?
A simple question, yet the answer is complex.
We all have moments of doubt and uncertainty, where we question what is real and what is not. Behind the seemingly flawless and flawless image we present to others, there is depth, complexity, and layers that create that image
Pretending to be someone we're not can lead to all sorts of difficulties and problems. But is it possible that there could be a bright side to this deception? Perhaps pretending to be someone we're not can open opportunities for us that we never would have had if we were our authentic selves.
Is it worth it to sacrifice our authenticity and true selves for a brighter future, even if it means living a lie and being disconnected from our true selves? Or is it better to stay true to who we are and face the challenges of life head-on, even if the outcomes may not be as favorable?
