Answer

   "Do you really think I'm cute?"

When Kazou heard what she said he stopped in place for a second. He was quiet.

"If you were just saying it because-"

"Yes I do", Kazou said. He felt embarrassed. "I think your very cute. And not just in the physical aspect. I think what you do is cute. The way you talk. The way you get embarrassed easily. How you laugh. Just you in general," Kazou said this trying to sound casual but kind of failed.

"I also like how we've only really known eachother for a short time, but I feel like it's been forever", Kazou said adding to his previous statement.

Suma listened. She had a smile on her face,but not her usual smile that indicated mischief. No, this smile was sweet.

"Do you like like me?", Suma asked. She seemed embarrassed, but there was a look of curiosity in her eyes.

"Like? Like like-like? Do I?", Kazou thought to himself. He wasn't sure himself.

"I don't know", he said.

"That's fine", Suma said, she had a newfound confidence in her voice. "It's fine cuz I like you Kazou."

Kazou was shocked.

"I like how your hair is neat. I like how your outfits reflect that you carefully chose them. I like that your considerate. When you chose to go that manga cafe it was one of the nicest things anyone's done for me. Like you even contacted my mom to find out! Like who does that!", Suma said smiling, "I like how you put up with my pranks. I like how speak. Your voice is better than most songs I've listened to"

"She said all of this with a straight face. How can she do that?", Kazou asked himself.

"What I'm trying to say...", Suma said while blushing. "I wanna say that I have had a crush on you. You're my first crush and I didn't know how to feel. I always thought crushes were gross but you kinda changed that. Y'know? Like I wanted to ask if you wanted to get like or go on like a date?" As Suma finished speaking she suddenly felt embarrassed.

"A date?", Kazou asked.

"Y-yeah", she responded, "to tell if you like me to".

"Yeah I think I'd like that", Kazou said.

They went to Suma's house to finish studying. Kazou looked at the sandwich on the table and laughed a bit.

After another hour of, talking, studying and manga reading for Suma, Kazou decided it was time to go home.

Kazou went to the doorway and put his shoes on. "Later Suma!", he said.

"Wait", Suma said. Kazou turned.

As he tured he felt two arms wrap around him. He looked down and saw Suma was hugging him.

After about 20 seconds of hugging Suma let go and apologized. "Later Kazou", she smiled as he left.

Kazou walked home.
