Honesty is true solution

 “Okay Noda senpai! So, let’s go right now!”

I don’t want to create anymore misunderstanding.

“Where do we go , Noda senpai?”

“A small café at the town.”

We went to the café and ordered two ice coffees after found the seat.

My plan to buy a new release video game needs to be put aside for today.

“ Noda senpai, what is the reason for you to see me now?”

“First of all, I would like to apologize for Chihaya’s behavior yesterday. I know what she said a little overboard. She also regrets about what she said too.”

“Okay, is that all that Noda senpai want to tell me?”

“About Akemi, did she have told you about our previous relationship?”

“Let me start. Everything began on that day. The last day before spring break starts last semester. After I prepared to go back to my house, Akemi suddenly appeared in my class.
“ Can I know where Noda Wataru-san is?”

When I heard her say that I still couldn’t believe it.
“Saito-san, can you follow me for a while?”

I took her to a cafeteria.

“Please have a seat, Saito-san. First, why you suddenly confess to me?”

“I really like you Noda-san!”

I ‘m so happy to hear about that.

“Second, what do you like about me?”

“Your voice, Your face and your smile.”

When I heard about the reason, is this okay? I am confused right now. I admit that my face is one of the reasons for my popularity. Should I accept her confession? She also looks pretty to me.

“I will go out with you.”

“For the starter, maybe we should decide how to call each other. Can I call you Akemi? And you can call me Wataru.”

That night, I went to her house to pick her up. Then, we went to the bar that my friend and I frequently visit. At the bar, I asked her to sit. I ordered beer for Akemi. After she tried the beer, she said it tasted really fit her. From that day both of us spend our time at bar during night. Sometimes we also went to a restaurant and had a little date there. I don’t know when this weird feeling will start to appear in my heart. Is Akemi happy with me? Should we continue this relationship? I decided to ignore it for this time. But as I thought, I need to confirm this feeling.

“Akemi, can I ask you something?”

“What is it ?”

“ Are you happy with me right now?”

“What are you talking about? Yes! I really happy , especially doing something with you Wataru.”

When I heard her answer, everything became clear right now. As expected, the reason for this weird feeling is me. I can’t fall in love with her. Maybe she loves me, but I don’t love her. It’s one sided love. I should realize it earlier.

“Should we break up, Akemi?”
Akemi was so surprised when she heard what I said.

“Why??!”
“It just I think this relationship cannot last long. So, goodbye Akemi.”

“Wait, Wataru!!”
I just left her at the bar after one month became couple. I was wrong. If only I think thoroughly when she confesses to me before. Sorry, Akemi.

“Is that why Noda senpai broke with Saito senpai?”

“I think Noda senpai have misunderstanding about my relationship between me and Saito senpai.”

“Love is hard right ?”

“Never mind about that. I will think about it later how to solve my problem. I forgot. About the rumor that you stole Akemi from me, I will settle about it too.”

“Really?! Thank you Noda senpai!”

“As exchange, you should take care Akemi for me,” said Noda senpai jokingly.

“Whatever you want , Noda senpai. I think is meaningless to explain it again.”

Both of us are ready to leave the café after paying for the drink. When we both stepped out from the café, I noticed someone who looked familiar.

“What are you doing here, Arima-kun?”

I never thought to see Saito senpai here. Fujimiya senpai also with her.

“Is that you, Wataru?”

“Hello Akemi! It’s really coincidence that we can meet here.”

“So, can you explain what you are doing here, Arima-kun and Wataru?” ask Fujimiya senpai.

“I just ask Noda senpai’ s help to solve the rumor.”

“Really?! Can you help us Wataru?”

“Yes, Akemi! You don’t need to worry anymore about what happen yesterday.”

“Thank you Wataru!”

“It’s fine Akemi. And sorry for what I have done to you before. “

Fujimiya senpai giving me a sign to let Saito senpai and Noda senpai alone.

“Akemi, can I go to video game shop with Arima-kun? He needs someone accompany him.”

“Yes! I need someone to accompany me. Saito senpai can have a talk with Noda senpai while waiting for us.”

“Should not I join both you that shop?”

“Wait Akemi! I have something to talk about with you alone.”

“Okay then, have a nice time both of you. Akemi don’t forget to call me when you are done. Let’s go Arima-kun,” said Fujimiya senpai.

“Okay Fujimiya senpai!”

“Why I need Fujimiya senpai to accompany me to go to video game shop?”

“Can you just keep quiet Arima-kun? This also skill that needed in acting.”

“Okay then.”

We went to the video game shop after that. I found the newly released video game near the counter. I bring two of them to the counter and pay for them. Fujimiya senpai just following me from behind.

“Is boys like to play video game?” ask Fujimiya senpai.

“It depends on every person. Not all boys like to play video games. Some people are more into outdoor game such as soccer, basketball or cycling.”

Fujimiya senpai nodded as I explained to her. Then , we went to the café to meet with Saito senpai.

When we arrived there, Saito senpai was already waiting for us outside the café.

“Where is Noda senpai?”

“He already went back home. Today , I feel so refreshed. Let’s go back to home now.”

“Right, Akemi. Day also slowly starts to turn dark now.”

All of us go back home after that. I think Noda senpai has explained everything to Saito senpai. Saito senpai also looked happier than yesterday.
