First dinner with senpai

Everything has become normal. My rumor with Saito senpai also has been cleared.
Akimoto senpai also have apologized to Saito senpai directly. I am glad all the problems have been solved. Without knowing, today is the last day before golden week begins. Coincidentally, today we have a club meeting as the club finally comes from vacation.

All club members are already in the club room.

“Did everyone here?” asked Saito senpai.

“Just waiting for Sakura sensei,” said Fujimiya senpai.

Knock-knock!

“Helloooo everyone!”

“Sensei, you are late! Please reflect on your action as a responsible adult,” said Fujimiya senpai.

“This is the only time that I late, right?”

“Yes, for this semester. But for last semester, almost every time you are late when we have a meeting,” reply Fujimiya senpai.

“Okay, sorry! So, who is new member?” Sakura sensei tries to change the subject.

“There are two new members.”

Then Minami and I stood up and introduced ourselves.

“As always why our club not popular with student? Maybe I should change this club to night club,” said Sakura sensei.

“I think you should stop talking about it anymore. You always said it before. How can that kind of club can be approved by university management?” said Fujimiya senpai.

“Takeda senpai, did Fujimiya senpai and Sakura sensei ‘s relationship always like this?” I asked Takeda senpai.

“They always like this since beginning. Don’t worry too much about it. That’s why Akemi and I sometimes just let them be.”

“Okay, did everyone have any suggestions for our plan during golden week?” ask Sakura sensei.

“What do you mean ‘plan’ sensei?” ask Minami.

“You know, we should strengthen our bond as club member and family,” said Sakura sensei ambitiously.

“I’m not your family , sensei,” reply Fujimiya senpai.

“Why you so harsh to me today Fujimiya? But never mind, I like that!”

I can see Fujimiya senpai’s face started to change as she heard what sensei said.

“Sorry sensei but during golden week, I will be go back to my hometown,” said Takeda senpai.

“Me too sensei. My brother asks me to help him to take care of his son as my brother and his wife are busy with their work next week, “ said Fujimiya senpai.

“I think we should postpone this plan as Eri and Kenji busy during golden week, sensei, “said Saito senpai.

“Really?! I will make a best plan for the next time. See you all after the holiday. Goodbye.”

After that, Sakura sensei left the clubroom.

“So, that’s all for today. We will dismiss now.”

Finally, I will have a good rest for a week. When I arrived at home, Minami calling me.

“Hello, Minami. Why are you calling me?”

“I forgot to ask you earlier. Did you remember the project that lecturer give us before class end?”

“Yes, I still remember about it.”

“Do you want to do it together with me? Maybe we can do it at your house.”

“Why not? I will send my house location to you later. So when will you come to my house?”

“How about on Monday?”

“Okay!”

I forgot that Saito senpai lives next to me. But I think is alright as I remember that Fujimiya senpai ask Saito senpai to help her take care of her nephew next week. For now, I will rest. On Saturday, Maaya-san invite me for dinner at her house. On Sunday, I just stay at home. In the morning, after I woke up, I took a bath. Then, I have breakfast before I go to convenience store to buy food and drink supply. In the afternoon, after lunch I play video games, until someone knocks on my door house. When I open my door house, Saito senpai is standing in front of me.

“I thought that you have go with Fujimiya senpai to take care of her nephew.”

“It’s tomorrow.”

“So, is that anything that I can help you senpai?”

“I don’t know how to say it. The truth is the water in my house suddenly stopped running. How about yours?”

“It’s still running properly.”

“Hmmmm… how I should say it? Can you let me use your bathroom and toilet for today only? I want to go Eri’s house but she’s not home right now because she already at his brother’s house.”

”Is that mean that you will stay in my house for today?”

“Yes…. I’m sorry to disturb you.”

How should I do about this? Is it okay to stay with a girl for one day? What I am thinking right now! I should think positively.

“Alright Saito senpai. You can stay here for today.”

“Really!? Thank you very much Arima-kun!”

Then, she goes back to her house to bring her belongings here for her change later.

“Sorry for disturbing you. Arima-kun, your house looks neat! Are you clean your house every day?”

“This only for today. Tomorrow, it will start to be messy again. You can change your cloth in my bedroom later.”

“Thank you Arima-kun!”

“Please have a seat senpai. Do you want anything to eat or drink? I can get it for you.”

“It’s okay. By the way, what are you doing before I come to your house?”

“I just start playing video game.”

“Can I try to play it too? I never play this kind of game.”

“Of course! Let me teach you how to play video games.”

I did not realize that we play video games for almost five hours. The day started to turn dark. I switched on the light.

“Senpai, do you want to take a bath first?”

“How about you Arima-kun?”

“I will take it later.”

“Okay !”

While she takes a bath, I continue to play video games again.

15 minutes later

“It’s really refreshing after taking a bath. Now it’s your turn to take a bath, Arima-kun. And I need to take something from my house for a while.”

“Alright senpai!”

When I just come out from bathroom, I smell something delicious.

“What are you doing in kitchen, senpai?”

“For tonight, I will prepare dinner for us. Just assume it to repay your kindness for today.”

As I heard that, I put on my cloth quickly and went to the kitchen.

“What kind of dish you cook for dinner?”

“ Meat and potato stew. I also made miso soup.”

“Did senpai always cooking at home?”

“Yes. I have been learning to cook since I was small. Can you help me to cut the potato? Do you know how to cut in right way?”

“Sure! Sometimes I help my mom cooking when I at my hometown.”

“It looks so fun to me. Can you bring here the potato that you have cut?”

“Alright!”

Then, she said to let her cook for the rest.

Finally, awaited dinner have been served. It smells nice.

Both of us have seats at the dining table.

“Let’s start eating!!

Saito senpai is good at cooking. Meat and potato stew were soft, and I could eat it easily. When I drink miso soup, it feels so refreshing. I think I can drink this every time.

“Senpai, who teach you how to cook before?”

“My grandma taught me. This miso soup and meat and potato stew are from my grandma’s recipe.”

After having dinner, we wash the plates together. When I look at Saito senpai, I can see how lucky people are to have her as a wife. She is good at cooking, cheerful and beautiful.

“Arima-kun why do you look at me like that? Is there anything on my face?”

“There is nothing senpai. Never mind about it.”

“Do you like to watch movie ? I have brought DVD movie from my home earlier.”

“I like to watch movies. What kind of movie you have?”

“Horror story although I not really like scary stuff.”

“Why do you have it then if you scare?”

“All my romance movie is on Eri.”

“I can watch horror story but how about you senpai?”

“It’s about time to get over it. I can do it!”

I hope everything will be fine.

Except…

I think I was more surprised when Saito senpai hit me whenever she shocked than watching horror movie. I can feel my body start to ache.

The movie finally ended. I can breathe easily now.

“Do you want to sleep now senpai? You can sleep in my bedroom. I will sleep here at living room.”

“Not really. How about we talk now? Don’t need to switch on light.”

“Alright then.”
