Meet

Moon wakes up on his bed in the imprisoned room. Hikari turns around and says “Ah, you're finally awake. You have been out for five hours.” 

Moon nor Hikari was covered in blood but Moon couldn’t get the image of her covered in blood out of his head. Moon looks her in the eyes and says seriously, “What did you do? What have you done?” 

Moon is calm because he just woke up. This doesn't stop the internal shake he feels inside.

He thinks "Everything is changing. I don't want her to change because of me. I don't want her to be like me. I can't ever have that happen. Never!"

Hikari hugs Moon and says “After you left me alone. I pondered your words. I thought about how I could not understand you. Your words put my love to the test.” She grabs Moon's hand and says “I will never try to kill you again. I will protect you with my life as your fateful partner. I will love you til the end.” 

Moon thinks "She is changing. She is becoming more violent. Why? Why? FUCK!"

He responds “Hikari stop. Stop trying to understand me. Stay away from me.” Moon takes back her hand and gets up from the bed. 

He looks at the door and walks away from her while in pain. Hikari says desperately from behind him "Why? Why? Why do you want to leave me behind? I cleaned up the blood with my power. I can be useful. I can be your strength. I can be your sword. I can be your shield."

Moon hears how desperate she sounds. Moon says "I owe you my life and I am forever grateful for that. I really am. I know that I am bad for you. I don't want you to be like me. I want you to be happy. I know you would be ha---"

Hikari cuts Moon off and shouts "The hell would you know! I am happy with you! I don't need anyone but you!"

Moon stops and shouts "Stop being childish! Grow up. Stop holding on to me like I am your last thread!" Moon's voice stops. He can't speak anymore because of the emotional pain.

Hikari runs into Moon and tackles him. Moon's face hits the floor. Hikari hugs Moon's back from the ground.

She says while crying her eyes out "I don't want you to go. I want to stay with you forever."

Moon says "I have to go. Let me go."

Astro appears and says "You don't have time for your teen idle chat! The door to this dimension and mine are opening. Go stop now!" 

Moon says "Hikari. I will come back to you one day. Just let me go. I will come back. I promise!"

Moon has never made a promise.

Hikari hears this and is shocked. Shocked enough to give him a chance to escape.

Moon escapes her grasp. He takes one step up then another till he is fully up.

Before Moon wakes away from her, he says "I don't care. I don't care for this world. But if you are in it. It is a world meant for me."

He walks away from Hikari one last time.

Astro says "If both worlds merge, the world's end would happen. An apocalypse that humans will never be able to stop nor handle."

Then suddenly the ground shakes. Like a massive earthquake was going on.

Moon ran to the source with the help of Astro.

With the help of Astro, Moon makes it to an underground stairway that leads to an elevator.

They take the elevator.

Astro asks "Was it a wise decision to leave her behind?" Moon says "She is strong. Way stronger than me." Astro says "So why did you bring her along?" Moon says "Let me finish. Even if she is strong, why would I bring a loved one to a battle."

Astro says "How idiotic of you." Then she mumbles quietly enough that Moon doesn't hear "And that is why I love humans."
