Chapter 18:

Her Urge

Becoming the Principal of Isekai School

Jon jumped to the corner of the room, pressing his back against the wall. Aline moved her fingers at the skeleton janitor.

"His chest goes up and down even though he doesn't have lungs. This is muscle memory…. No, this is more like skeleton memory…." Creepy giggles kept coming out of the healer's mouth. "I don't like undead or body modification, but at this rate…. Damn, these bones are so beautiful."

Eiji didn't understand what was going on in that woman's mind.

Aline's voice became more breathy. "May I hold you, Sir skeleton…."

"You're going to check on me, right?" Eiji cut her off. "You want to be accepted here?"

"Of course." The healer turned her head to the principal, and Jon immediately ran out of the room. "Please, take off all your clothes, sir."

Eiji narrowed his eyes at Aline but said nothing. Slowly, both ends of that woman's lips dropped, and she gulped.

"I'm sorry. I was too excited after being resurrected." She grimaced. "You just need to show your hand, please. Ah, and open your sleeve too."

Eiji sat on a chair and followed Aline's instructions. The healer held the principal's wrist, then pressed a point there. The young man felt a bit of warmth run down his arm.

"You are tired, sir," Aline made the diagnosis while looking into Eiji's eyes. "Lack of sleep can have a lot of impact on you. You can be more prone to stress, get sick easily, and disturb your concentration. The hours of the night you use won't give maximum results in your work. Your concentration won't be as good as if your brain is fresh."

The diagnosis and explanation that this woman gave was comprehensive. Eiji was wondering whether he needed to ignore her strange behavior?

"And, of course, it will damage your beautiful skin." The healer rubbed the principal's arm with her crazy giggle.

Eiji withdrew his hand and lowered his sleeve.

"S-sorry." The healer gasped, not daring to look at the principal. "This is the first time I've touched another human's skin in a long time."

Eiji refrained from bursting out and leaving that place. He must observe this woman to understand her, then make an appropriate assessment.

"Has your world been overrun by monsters, leaving no humans or other humanoid races?" the principal asked. "That's why you were so obsessed when you met us?"

Instead of answering right away, the healer lowered her head.

"Maybe I'm the monster." Her voice is no longer breathy and shows excitement. "Since the first time I opened my father's anatomy book, I've been interested in humans and other humanoid races. They're wonderful, you know. Despite their flaws, they….. Ah, I can't stop telling stories when I've discussed that. This conversation won't end."

When she raised her head, her smile had changed. It's no longer creepy. However, that does not mean it looks genuine. Eiji sensed something from that expression.

Pain? The principal can only guess.

Eiji continued. "I apologize in advance if my question will offend you. But have you been punished for your overenthusiastic behavior towards the anatomy of humans and humanoid beings?"

"I'm exiled on an isolated island." The healer still wore her smile. "I often lose control of myself when checking on my clients, although I don't think it's overly sexual or anything like that. And I even switched to learning potions because I couldn't hold back this urge. However, they still think of me as an evil reincarnation because…. You could say because of my creepiness."

"Why exile?"

"It is said that the reincarnated evil will cause great destruction if they kill them. So, the best way is to exile them…." She choked and closed her eyes to hold back the tears.

Eiji was speechless. If she was exiled like that, it meant that her creepiness had reached such a terrifying stage.

"Not many are exiled to the island, you know?" Aline wiped a drop of her tears. "More people are imprisoned or sentenced to death because of their mistakes. Even if some are banished to the island, they are usually very desperate, and most end their lives. So, I spent my time there in solitude. That's why I am delighted to meet you all."

Eiji lowered Aline's hand, which moved to his chest. "But if you want to work here, you must resist this kind of thing."

"S-sorry." She looked down again.

***

Eiji had tried to sleep faster, but Aline's image kept on in the principal's brain. So, he chose to turn on the light and sit in his chair, deciding to think about the fate of that woman.

Anneth said, if Aline could check someone's health in such a short time, then that woman's ability was no joke. Coupled with her knowledge of potions, she will become a valuable asset in this school.

But she might make the staff, teachers, and students uncomfortable.

"Hi, Mr. Principal."

Eiji jumped from his chair when Kyoko peeked upside down at the window before him. "What the fuck, Kyoko!"

"Is it okay for you to say that as the principal?" Kyoko knocked on the window. "Please, open this. Well, I can force it open, but it's inappropriate."

"You startled me. What are you doing?" Annoyed, Eiji opened the window and winced again when another Kyoko put something on the table.

"Late-night snacks." The real Kyoko enters the room through the window with a graceful movement but still flexes her muscles.

And her tight bodysuit makes that clear even more.

"Thanks, but could you do it in a more normal way next time?" Eiji caught his breath and looked at what was on the table; a plate of gyoza and green tea in a clay glass. It wasn't something the principal would typically consume at a time like this. Still, he wouldn't turn it down since Kyoko's cooking was delicious.

"Going in through the door is boring." The kunoichi teased the principal. "Please eat, or I need to…."

Realizing that Kyoko was going to feed him, Eiji took the plate of gyoza and started eating it. "Thanks, I can do it myself."

The kunoichi chuckled at that.

"As usual, your cooking is amazing, Kyoko…." Eiji slowed down his chewing because something crossed his mind. "It might be weird if I ask this, but were you lonely in your previous life?"

"Yeah, I didn't expect that question to come from you, sir." A seductive smile formed on the kunoichi's mouth. "Are you worried that I'm also lonely here and want to…."

"Please, just answer me, Kyoko." The principal interrupted her and put another gyoza into his mouth.

The kunoichi still smiled, then sat in Eiji's work chair. "That's true. I often feel lonely on my undercover missions. All the connections I make on missions are fake, as ways for me to achieve my goals. And fellow ninjas barely have time to bond with each other. We're too busy."

"I see." Eiji put the gyoza plate on the table. Without him realizing it, the people around him have been in loneliness for a long time. Sienna had been waiting for the arrival of a principal. Anneth had been rejected by humans because of her looks, and Rae had become a ghost who couldn't interact with anyone.

Maybe even Jon too. Who knows if he was actually lonely in carrying out his job.

"But I've felt real bonds here with the others," Kyoko added. "Especially with you, sir."

"Good, then." Eiji munched on his third gyoza.

The kunoichi sighed. "By the way, how are your recent recruit doing? I'm fine with her, but it seems the others are showing their hesitation."

"I appreciate her passion for the bodies of humans and other humanoid races." The principal sat on the edge of his bed. "If only she could restrain her desire to touch other people…." The young man raised his eyebrows. "Hey, as a ninja, you must have had a lot of training, right?"

"Yes." Kyoko raised her eyebrows. "So?"

"They must have trained you to restrain your desire, right?"
