A Date With Benefits

(While school is now let out at last and students were thrilled to go home for the weekend, most male students were gazing their eyes at a disguised Xu whom was wearing a different school uniform than Bai's as he then walked out the gates and noticed her leaning against a street lamp but was a little embarrassed.)

"Xu: Are you gonna keep staring me down like that? Pervert."
"Bai: Look, relax. I just want to get this over with, where are we going?"
"Xu: I've booked us a few things for today. A trip to the movies, A restaurant dinner and a stroll around the park."
"Bai: Anything else?"
"Xu: No. Just these three for today, I doubt another mortal could even try wooing me on a date."
"Bai: Another? What does that-"
"Xu: If we keep wasting time, we'll miss our movie. So let's go, Zhihao!"
"Bai: ...Alright."

(The two then walks off as Jia was watching from the school entrance and was sipping on a cola from the academy cafeteria.)

"Jia (Thinking): Who is that woman..? And why is she from a different school...? Not just that... her energy is completely off, something inexplainable..."

(Jia then proceeds to follow the two secretly while they were on the way to the nearest entertainment center where Xu and Bai will spend their entire date. As the movie wasn't until later on, Bai then pays for the two in an arcade area for an hour.)

"Xu: An arcade area? How generic."
"Bai: You expect us to walk around for an hour as the movie didn't start yet? Just give this a chance, alright?"
"Xu: ...Fine."

(As the two experienced the arcade together, Bai was teaching Xu how to play skee-ball as the two managed to play without breaking the machine, Xu then switches over to basketball where she scored a perfect 800 points without fail as Bai managed to score 550.)

"Bai: How are you so good..?"
"Xu: Hmph."

(As Xu did not bother responding, the two then finishes their hour at the arcade with photos, fighting games and bowling, they'd then catch their movie which was a triple mix of romance, drama and psychological horror. As the two were enjoying the movie, Xu was smiling throughout in awe as Bai was teary-eyed at the romance scenes. After the movie concludes, Bai was relieved that the movie is over.)

"Bai: Man... That was a great movie.."
"Xu: Yeah. It was an enjoyable movie."
"Bai: Xu, is something wrong? You haven't really been smiling half our date?"
"Xu: ...You're right. There is something wrong, with you."
"Bai: Huh?!"
"Xu: We go on a date and such and you forget to compliment me?"
"Bai: Okay Xu. First of all, you're not wearing my school attire, you're wearing another school's and second, I'm doing my hardest for you to give me a second chance!"
"Xu: That may be true but a woman is to be complimented, no matter what she wears."
"Bai: Who told you that?!"
"Xu: Its common sense, idiot!"

(As the two bickered and argued for quite some time, they was then silent at one another at the restaurant as they didn't bother talking to each other. Meanwhile, Jia was still following them.)

"Xu: ..."
"Bai: ..."
"Waitress: Excuse me, are you two ready to order?"
"Bai: ...Yes, I'll have the udon noodles with pork please.
"Waitress: Vegetables?"
"Bai: Yes, please."
"Waitress: Alright, and for you miss?"
"Xu: ...Just eel sushi rolls please."
"Waitress: Okay! Your orders will be out soon so for now, please enjoy some appetizers on the house for couples!"

(The two were then confused but didn't bother to speak to each other until Xu broke the silence.)

"Xu: Don't cloud your mind with any thoughts."
"Bai: Even if I was looking for someone, I wouldn't date my own master."
"Xu: Are you implying I'm not good enough?"
"Bai: The hell!? NO! I'm saying why should I date someone who I trained under? It's like dating your stepsibling. You're not related but you both share a close connection."
"Xu: ...I guess that makes sense."

(Silence fills the air again as Jia couldn't stand it anymore.)

"Jia: What exactly is happening over there...? Its like they can't stand each other but... Wait... He said he wouldn't date his master...?! That's his master?!?"
"Waiter: Excuse me miss, here is your sushi tray. Will there be anything else?"
"Jia: Hmm... Do you have any green tea?"
"Waiter: Yes we do."
"Jia: I'll take a glass of green tea and that'll be all."
"Waiter: Okay! Please wait for a moment."

(As the dinner went longer than it should've, Xu was feeling more relaxed now as she was ready to leave to the park. Bai then pays for their dinner as Jia hid before she could be seen by the two then once again follows them.)

"Jia: Next time I go back there, I'm only ordering that green tea..."
"Bai: Xu. I've thought about it for a while, should I really be dead?"
"Xu: ..."
"Bai: I figured that's an answer."
"Xu: Do you want the truthful answer or an answer that won't have any hard feelings?"
"Bai: What's the difference?"
"Xu: I don't like you."
"Bai: I see."
"Xu: No. Bai, you don't get it. I DON'T. Like you. I have to work alongside you in order for you to become stronger."
"Bai: I knew it. So that's why I'm giving you the choice."

(As the two stopped at a moonlit view of the park, Bai pulls out one of his revolvers from the Justice Blessing, places it in Xu's hand and points the gun to his head. Jia watched as she then gasped in fear.)

"Bai: I want you to pull the trigger."
"Xu: Are you fucking crazy?! That's the dumbest thing you could ever ask for!"
"Bai: Well, what other choice is there? Ghouls will come after me again anyway."
"Xu: Bai, you're insane!"
"Bai: You don't like me right? I need you to prove it and kill me."
"Xu: I'm not going to!"

(As silence fills the air after the yell, he'd then dispel the revolver out of her hand and backed away three steps.)

"Bai: You're trying desperately to hurt me, why is that?"
"Xu: ... I'm still mad at you, okay...?"
"Bai: ...?"
"Xu: I know we had that fight a long time ago but Bai, I was still mad. I waited and waited for you to come back, but it felt like I never existed to you. I don't want.. I don't want you to really die."
"Bai: I apologize okay? I was imprisoned, I was alone. I didn't know what to do and I couldn't really get back to you because you sealed me out."
"Xu: ...I'll give you a second chance. It's really my fault actually.."
"Bai: Xu. Listen, you're my master. We all make mistakes and most of them are lessons we need to learn. Like for instance, HOW TO BE A BETTER SPY WHEN FOLLOWING SOMEONE, JIA!"
"Jia: HUH?!?!"

(As Jia tumbled out of the bushes, she was then embarrassed that she was caught. Xu then stifles then laughs as Bai then smiled.)

"Xu: I'm looking forward to training with you again, Bai. We have a lot of work to do."
"Bai: I won't disrespect your training anymore."
"Xu: You were honest, I'm just easy to hurt."

(As Xu then gave Bai a kiss on the cheek as an apology gift, she'd then return inside the Justice Blessing as Jia then comforted Bai.)

"Jia: So. Was she your master?"
"Bai: Yeah."
"Jia: I don't know her, but she's pretty cool."
"Bai: I guess so."

(As a motor was heard in the distance, a motorcycle arrived as it was Negan coincidentally meeting the two at the park.)

"Negan: Bai and Jia, what are you two doing out here this late?"
"Bai: Me and Jia needed to have a talk, it's sorted out though."
"Negan: Is that so? What you got her pregnant or something?"
"Bai: NEGAN!!!!"

(As Negan was laughing heartly, Jia and Bai was embarrassed as the day now came to a close.)
