He is coming...

"Huh? What do you mean the headquarters isn't responding?"

"Yes. The last message from the head was saying,'He is here. And he is coming.' What should we do?"

"Call backup immediately. We can't afford to lose this battle. We have to hold our grounds till nighttime when the execution is going to start. Tsk. That damn predator. I knew he would be a problem to my plan."

Well, they called backup, but nothing happened. Hiroshi didn't come to save her. Did he just give up on his wife that the sweared to protect with his life? The answer is,

No. Never.

At the secret police headquarters;

Hiroshi was sitting down. The whole area of the headquarters had become a mess due to Hiroshi's rampage. But he is still calm. Yumiko was treating his wounds for the upcoming battle that is going to happen. Yumiko was finally able to fulfil the promise that she did when she was younger. Meanwhile, Hiroshi, closing his eyes, was thinking of the best plan to save Yuki.

He found the perfect plan to save her. And it's definitely going to work.

While thinking with his eyes closed, he suddenly went inside his sub-conscious mind. There he saw a fimiliar scene. That giant gate, the beast on the other side, that giant gate and the small lock that is locking the beast, with a dark surrounding.

This time, he didn't have to go up to the lock. He just looked at it with his eyes, and it broke. He said,

"Sorry mom. I have broke it again."

The beast that was inside became free. The gates that was locking it was opened. That beast charged at Hiroshi as if it was going to rip him apart with its giant claws. But then, it felt a shock down the spine. Hiroshi was looking at the beast with such ferocious eyes, that even that giant beast became afraid of it. Something was telling to it that if it were to go even close to him, it would die.

"Know your master before you fight.", said Hiroshi, which completely stopped the beast from making another move.

In the meantime, Yumiko finished treating Hiroshi's wounds. Hiroshi finally woke up. He looked at Yumiko. He was acting alright, no signs of bloodlust at all, but somethings wrong. His eyes turned red. Yumiko was scared. But she knew Hiroshi wouldn't do anything to her, right? Right?

"How many hours left till the execution time?"

"Theres still three hours."

"I have a request for you, Yumiko. Could you handle the guards that will be guarding the execution platform? You can leave the duty of saving Yuki to me."

"Of course. You can trust me with my skills."

"Then go. We will meet at the execution ground."

"Roger that."

Yumiko went out to prepare for the fight. But how will she do it? Does she have the skill to take out all the guards there?

Meanwhile, Hiroshi is here, still sitting...

On the execution grounds; an hour before the execution time;

The guards started arriving in groups. The main star is yet to arrive, Yuki, whose execution is set to be in an hour. The guards are still terrified because of Hiroshi. They knew, if he came, none of them would be left alive. They have heard the rumours of his rampages, and they guessed that this rampage will be even more severe. Well, it is more or less true in a sense. But they couldn't seem to imagine the scale of its severity.

It's almost time for the main star to show up. It's such a beautiful night. The stars are shining brightly, so much so that theres no need for the city lights. One can even see the milky way from here. And also, today's the day of the lunar eclipse too. People usually don't say it as the 'lunar eclipse'. They call it the 'Blood Moon' instead. That name is more popular.

Finally, after all that wait, Yuki had arrived. She's being carried by two guards holding her arms. She was tortured so badly that she can't even walk. The two guards were dragging her to the execution platform. Her hands and legs had visible signs of torture. But her main concern was the baby that she was carrying inside. It hasn't been hurt. She was relieved by that. The guard didn't do anything that would ruin her chastity. They were scared that if they were to do anything unethical with her, Hiroshi would've killed them.

The other star, Airi has also arrived. She was talking with the guards about everything. But she had a concern about Hiroshi too. She saw directly his severe reaction when she was about to kill Yuki three years ago.

Yuki was dragged and sat on the execution platform. Her only concern wasn't her life, but the child she was carrying. The normal citizens were gathering in masses. They were shouting, criticising and what not. But she didn't mind them at all.

"You bitch!"

"You killed my love!"

"He was the only one I trusted, and you killed her!"

"You killers! You should rot in a corner!"

"Why is the execution taking so long? I want to see her die!"

Nothing was able to change her at all. She didn't pay a heed. With the crowds in front of her and the giant guillotine in the back, she was still thinking about the child's safety. Everything was going fine, but then, she heard a voice from the crowd...

"You bitch! Your child should die too!"

"If the child somehow survives! Kill it too! That child doesn't deserve to live!"

"Yes. It has killers blood! Kill him!"

"Kill him! Kill the child too!"

"Kill the child too!"

"Kill the child too!"

The crowd started chanting 'kill the child too' in front of Yuki. Even if she was a killer, she is a mother too. Let me ask you this, how would you feel if everyone was demanding your child to be killed, in front of you?

Airi came and stood beside Yuki. She said,

"These are the victims of you two's killings. See? How many people hate you? And now, you two are transferring that hate to your child too, who is still inside the womb, not knowing what's happening in the outside world."

"... stop it.", Yuki said with utter regret. She was crying. She wouldn't care if the criticism was thrown at her, but not her child.

"The child didn't do anything. He is pure, an innocent child.", Yuki cried out.

She didn't want a world where their child would have to suffer because of them. She wanted a world where her child would be happy.

The chanting didn't stop. Yuki was crying, worried about their child's future. The blood moon was right under their head, as if it was going to fall down. The execution time was ticking down too. But Hiroshi didn't come.

"Maybe he chickened out.", said Airi. But she herself knew that it was not the case.

Ten minutes before the execution, and Hiroshi still didn't come. What's going on? Did he really chicken out?

Airi ordered the guards to pick her up and put her under the guillotine. But then, something unexpected happened...

One by one, all the guards were shot down. At first, all the guards on top of the execution platform, then all the guards standing underneath. But how?

Airi looked at the direction from the origin of the bullets. Standing there was a high schooler girl, with a camouflage jacket hoodie, holding a sniper rifle. It was Yumiko, the best sniper in the secret police unit. Although she was a high schooler, she was trained very hardly so that she can join the secret police. No wonder how she could hit all her shots from the top of a building at night with little to no prior preparation.

"Tsk. Here they come.", said Airi. But the main problem is yet to come. Hiroshi hadn't come yet. Where is he? The crowd was scared too. What was happening? Many of them started leaving to save their lives. Well, they should. Because the beast is arriving shortly after...
