I will have no mercy today.

After some time, something happened. It was not what they were expecting. They saw a black smoke surrounding the area of the execution platform. That black smoke slowly turned into a fire. The fire was burning down the whole city...

Walking down the the road, with the flames of the burning city from the two sides, wearing that fimiliar mask, having not one, but two knives in both of his hand, he said,

"The eclipse is looking so beautiful today, I can't stop looking at it. But if it means saving you, I would even shatter the eclipse."

Before saying that, he was just walking, but after saying that, he started sprinting. The guards knew they were dead. They just fell to their knees and gave up. Hiroshi was on a full rampage mode. He was planning to kill everybody. But then, the voice of Yuki stopped him.

"Hiroshi, don't do it."

Airi came and pointed a gun at him.

"Seems like you are loyal to your wife's command."

"I will have no mercy today."

They were going to have a battle. But then, Yumiko came in between.

"Predator-san, didn't I tell you to leave the guards to me? You just go and save your wife."

"Thanks."

"Like I am going to let you go.", said Airi.

"Not so fast, chief. I am here too.", Yumiko said pointing the sniper at her.

"Don't stop me. I will fulfil my revenge today. I have been waiting so hard for this day. You don't understand how hard I have been training for this very day."

"Before you decide on your revenge, I have something to show you that will change your mind."

"At this point, nothing will change my mind-"

Yumiko pulled out a document and began to read it.

"Quixotic Predator Victim no.4781. Which is your boyfriend, was seen with a girl on the day of the murder. Do you believe it?"

"Of course not! What nonsense. He sweared his love to me. But that predator killed him. Thats what actually happened!"

"Then why was he found dead holding another girl in his hand? Forensic reports say that they were kissing when predator-san killed him. In other words, he was cheating on you."

"You liar! Thats not possible! He didn't cheat on me! Prove it!"

She didn't believe it. She still trusts him with his heart. But her trust shattered before her very eyes when Yumiko decided to throw the confidential files at her. There were photos captured by cctv's which clearly showed her boyfriend cheating. Now she is in a delusion. She was wrong all along? The quixotic Predators actually saved her? Yumiko was right? He is a good guy after all?

She started laughing suddenly,

"Revenge? Who was I taking revenge for? Oh yeah, I was taking revenge for my boyfriend who cheated on me. Revenge? My ass!"

She started crying now. She didn't know what to do. She was full of anger.

"Just wait, you cheater! You think you are safe because you are dead? I won't allow it. You have wasted my time on a revenge that was just a lie? Just wait. I will never let you rest in peace."

She picked up a gun that was beside her and shot herself. She had gone totally mad. That means, right now, the chief is dead. There is no one else to take her position. Yumiko, although just a high schooler, took a hold of that position for herself and decided to be then chief.

In the mean time, Hiroshi rushed to the platform. All the guards were shot by Yumiko, but they were not killed, they were just injured. The rest of the guards escaped. Hiroshi was wondering why Yuki stopped him and why she is crying.

Hiroshi went on top of the execution platform, removed all the handcuffs by breaking them and hugged her tightly. Her eyes were wet with tears. She hugged back too. She was scared. She started crying again, but this time, Hiroshi was there to console her.

"Hiroshi, do you think we are deserved to live?"

"Why are you talking about this now? We need to get out from here-"

"Stay with me."

She was serious. Seeing her, he sat down and they had a long conversation together.

"What will happen to us if we live?"

"I don't know."

"People already saw our faces. They know our identities. We can't hide anymore."

"We can handle that later."

"... I don't want our child to have a harsh past like us. I want our child to be happy. Hey, don't you want that too?"

"Of course."

"But what I saw today broke my heart. If we somehow survive today to see tomorrow, what will happen to our child? It will surely be considered as a killers child, be hated, be condemned, and be left out, right? Isn't our child more important than our lives? Then should we really give it a hard time like this? We definitely don't deserve to live, but it does. I am sure, if we die here, someone else will take care of it. Of course, it will forget about us, but it will live happily, right? But if we live, then it will suffer, and I don't want that, ever. I don't want our child to turn into a killer like us. We are hated, and I don't want it to suffer the same fate."

She stopped a bit, but then she said again,

"... I don't want it... to hate us."

That line struck Hiroshi's heart. He had a bad past about his parents. He hated his father. He hated him very much. So he can understand what would happen if their child started hating them for being his parents. No parent in the world wants to be hated by their own child. Its universal, unless the parents are some sort of psychopaths.

"Then what should we do?", asked Hiroshi?

"...We should just end ourselves here and hope that someone else will take care of our child."

"If thats what you want. I don't mind."

He sat beside Yuki, with his knees touching hers. He handed one of his knives to her. He removed his mask. They were about to commit double suicide, but then, she said,

"... I am scared. I am scared, Hiorshi. What should I do? I don't want to die."

Hiroshi didn't say anything. But then, he said,

"You know, I really wanted to see its face. I really wanted to see our child's face."

Saying that, he started crying. This was the second time Yuki saw him cry. The first time she saw him cry was when he came to know that Yuki was pregnant. With one thing and another, they slowly started to remember the memories they had together...

They remembered the time of their summer camp, the days of the study tour, and what not. The times they were smiling, laughing, and their happy times. The nostalgia of those memories filled their hearts. On the verge of death, they are remembering those fun times. Although it was a short journey of twenty years, it was a crazy journey nonetheless.
