Part 9: Iterations For Generations

I cannot stress how much Styra’s willingness to die shook me in some ways. The same is true of Flight’s actions aboard the Skyway Suite. I have not seen any of my brothers and sisters of The Void for awhile now, but… Currently… I do feel more alone as a Guardian than back then. We are more aware, serious, and conditioned to our roles. If you had seen what we saw, freedom would have long died. Standing for centuries mostly uninterrupted. Iternua Temples were rarely interacted with. If there was a threat, they were always too easy to stop. I don’t feel relieved knowing this loss of self. Nonetheless, it is my only source of being something that I had to accept.

In the world of Niantom, the Iternua Temple I guarded once held a Shard Of Surreality. A world must be entitled to hold the requirements which include being vacant of life or a peaceful haven where it can be sustained without being messed with. Inside Niantom, there is an open pink sky that covers over a place called Sparkleshine Valley which has numerous floating blocks of land scattered everywhere that have the shape of an hourglass. The white clouds are majestic and cover the ground level of every peach-colored mountainside. The largest block of land holds the Iternua Temple I used to reside in. A gentle stream covers the surrounding structure with which white pillars can be seen holding it all together.

I left this shard to be protected by Spessarion while I was away to search for The New Guardian. The other two have been in weirder locations to my knowledge.

Originally, both Sapphirion and Citrinion protected a Shard Of Surreality in their respective planets. Now, because of the frequent disappearances, Citrinion guards a Reality Orb and Sapphirion has been going to different universes to determine where his shard has been traveling off to. According to him, they kept duplicating themselves into many iterations where they entered different timelines within the world of present day Mechatopolis. Meanwhile, there is one other specific instance where the same shard was found by another planet named StarSpace that had traveled there.

Then as with Citrinion’s shard, it ended up in the world known as Abyrrar. There, a collective civilization of people holding experimentation rooms in an underwater laboratory were found by Spessarion to be messing around with its power. Due to this, the shard on this planet also started to create iterations of itself in other universes where this world repeatedly finds it.

All of this stems back to the chaos outside of The Void. To furthermore speculate, it may have to deal with Creperus and Strage breaking the Illuminator Of Reality itself.
