Part 8: Shattered Sounds Unheard

Of all of my siblings, Citrinion is the one who holds a special place in my mind. She has always taught me what it meant to hear the voices from The Eternal Lights. “Don’t fear them. Learn from them” is what was said once during our trip to find the missing Reality Orb at the phase of 214. To us phases are considered certain growth periods, similar to that of age. I had felt little remnants of this when being first created. My energy was childlike and easily manipulated. Thus, as Voids we quickly realized who made us and I never knew what we were made for until Master Prism showed us. I remember the worlds it presented to us after teaching us how to address it and each other.

“My children, these worlds I’ve built for you are yours when you become older. I showed you many things in The Void that would help you grow into the guardians of what I have called The Eternal Lights. Ten were made to be protected as they are tools to create and reveal many things to you. They are to be kept inside this crystal cage which will be designed for you to only learn about how to harness its power. However, know that if any of you were to fully disregard and abuse one’s power that your position will later be taken away. There will be no mercy for those who deny it.”

We would later learn that we were named from eight out of two-hundred nineteen of Prism’s favorite crystals which once held the power of The Eternal Lights in a colorful crystallized triangular prism structure known as The Illuminator Of Reality. Our names originated as:

Amethion, Keeper Of Time

Topazion, Keeper Of Energy

Sapphirion, Keeper Of Space

Citrinion, Keeper Of Sound

Emeraldion, Keeper Of Life

Diamondion, Keeper Of Reality

Spessarion, Keeper Of Surreality

Rubion (Strage), Keeper Of Death

Onyxion (Creperus), Keeper Of Darkness

Inside was a glowing power unlike any of us had ever seen. While most of us were strangled by how it could be so mighty, Creperus and Strage envied it. Hated it. It was because Prism loved this creation most of all over every one of us that when we had reached the phase of 45, they travelled to where the structure was and broke through it out of anger. The crystal structure shattered, but it made no sound. This did nearly cause our Omniverse to nearly collapse because the infection of that power by itself would have created chaos. Fortunately, Prism saved all of these Eternal Lights from doing so and did not punish neither Creperus nor Strage for it.

Instead, The Master knew how they felt was not in full disregard and decided to transition their ideas of why they had done it into more constructive ways than imagined. As a result, they matured into becoming The Alpha Guardians and vowed not to infect the Omniverse again.
