Genji's POV:

 "In fact, I was looking for someone when I got summoned here from my world..." Lowering my head, I apologized "I was afraid of this new place so I couldn't trust anyone especially since I got summoned to a dangerous place. Sorry to lie to you about my identity and name, yet you got the name almost right!" "Really? So your name was Gin? It would be more perfect if you were him!" I looked at her surprised "My real name is Genji and I was called Gin by my parents and the friend I came here to find. How old should your friend be?" "I don't know... My memories are a mess and I'm not sure if I reincarnated the moment I died or after years of my death... So there's no way I can know. But Merlin promised to let me meet him again if I became the queen!" "We are in the same boat then, I was requested for something similar in exchange for meeting Nana!" "Gin! I complained about that insult "You didn't have to call me that and ruin the weather!" Brenda chuckled "I'm more curious about two things: how you were able to know I was in danger and about your gadget. The phone looks modern but could it be working in this world?" "For the first one, it was the mirror. A shadow appeared in it and asked me to save you." Brenda exclaimed in surprise"Merlin asked you?" "Merlin?" "Yes, she is the person in the mirror and sort of a teacher for me. The mirror is a heirloom given to the ladies in the Valentine family. Dad didn't have any siblings so he kept it for me. Now tell me about the phone you have, is it possible to make calls to the other world?"

  Since Brenda told me about her mirror I didn't have a reason to hide the truth about my phone "It works but I can't make calls somehow. I've been given tasks through it from whoever summoned me, and I started thinking this world is game-based." "It's not" Brenda cut me "I am not sure but there is more than one world. Games are the ones based on this world, not the opposite." I was deep in thought when she asked with excitement making me doubt what happened to her a few hours ago "Gin, What task are you dealing with now?" "Retrieving an ancient relic. I got a map and a key to finish the task-" "Let's do it together! I don't know why your summoner is giving you those tasks but I've been following Merlin's tasks and orders to meet Gin, my past life lover." I looked at her with sarcasm "And how the hell old are you to have a lover? At least I was over 16 already before coming here." Brenda looked at me in a haughty manner "I am at least a hundred years older than you mentally! Now if you please I will change my clothes and come to have dinner with everyone. You should help them set the table!"
And with that, I was pushed forcefully outside the room before I could ask for an explanation for her last words.

  I went to the kitchen to offer any possible help "Aunty! I am here to help!" The lady sounded startled by my arrival "Oh Gin, you came just in time! I finished making dinner and only set the table left. I will go and wake Brenda up." "No need, she said I gotta help you guys and she will be joining us after she changes her clothes."

Brenda's POV:
 "Are you sure you won't spit it out?" I heard Merlin's voice coming from the mirror that was on the desk "It's no use telling him anything. Also, if I am cursed, it will only lead him to death." The woman sighed "You sound so sure about being cursed... What makes you think you are cursed, dear child?" I looked at her with suspicion "You heard what I told Gin a few moments ago, I am over 100 years-" she cut me off before I can finish "And I am over 500 years old."

 I looked at the mirror shocked when she explained "I am the person who guided all the ladies from the Valentine family, so how old do you think I might be?" "Hmm... Merlin, what are you exactly?" "Someone from old Amoralia kingdom. I vowed to keep doing my best to find a suitable person to take the role of the queen and king. When you expressed your wish to meet the person you love in a parallel world, I thought you won't keep that goal forever and will give up later. But year after another you proved to be suitable for the role, that's why I guided you to that dungeon to get the miracle flower seed. If this boy is the Gin you are looking for, then I have more interesting facts about him. He said that he was 17 years old before being summoned, but he is now 6 after being summoned here." I thought about it "That's right, but why did he get smaller?" "It's the side effect of world traveling. This case only means he is from this world from the very beginning and was summoned or sent to the other world when he was six years old.  I was stunned for a while before asking "If it was like that, why was Isabella cursed?" "She wasn't cursed as they said for traveling to another world. She was cursed for another crime...  I looked at the starry sky from the window for moments before Merlin asked "I don't think you did something similar to Isabella in your past life to think you are cursed, right?" "I don't know. All I know is that I had memories of finding my soulmate only for him to die a moment later. Add to that I only remembered all of this after being attacked by someone or something that imitated my past life look." "What a rare case... If your theory is correct, I am sure who attacked you is a demon related to the curse. You should stop overthinking and go have dinner otherwise your mother will be worried about you."

  After hearing what Merlin said I was more sure about everything I had in mind. Just the idea of not seeing the person I love again terrified me, but now there is a high risk that he will die if he got to know me. That settles it!
