The Great Humans vs Elf war.

The story began 200 years ago, when humans found a bright light invading the land. That day, they saw two different lights, one being blue, the other being red. The curious nature of humans led them to pursue these bright lights to its origin. Where they found two mysterious, long eared creatures. They possessed human qualities, except for the fact that they hand very long ears that helps them express their emotions more clearly.

Experts speculate that the ears flap when they are excited, becomes red when they are embarrassed, falls down when they are sad and rises up when they are angry. Those are the primary emotions that they had, along with others.

Those two elves were said to have blue and red hairs respectively, along with blue and red eyes. Their colours represent their behaviour. The blue elf was calm in nature, wanting peace with the people, while the red one was violent, wanting destruction.

Before the great human vs elf war, happened the elf vs elf war between the army of the red and blue elves, where the blue faction lost by a great margin. Soon came the era of destruction as those red elves would soon turn their heads towards humans.

The new queen of elves, the red elf was an absolute beauty. Who charmed all the rulers of the kingdom with just her smile. But something unexpected happened...

The red elf somehow got pregnant. No one knows who was the father, and the red elf also didn't disclose the information. Soon after the red elf gave birth, she died, leaving behind her son in the world.

The son was... not so good looking. Experts describes him as,

"A complete, nasty hag looking garbage of a face that would make even a grown man vomit in tears."

A very nasty definition, or so to say. Experts also recorded the elves grow up very quickly, but they age very slowly. But the lifespan of elves couldn't be recorded at that time.

It is when the son of the red elf started ruling when the real problem arrived...

Getting into power, he started manslaughter an mass murdering people. Which ultimately led to the great War between the Humans vs elves, resulting in the humans victory and the demise of the elves.

The kings of the six nations participated in the battle, namely being King Rudy I, King Fina I, King Aqua I, King Ayumi I, King Haze I and King Tochi I. Their names being remembered in the history till today.

"...or so it says", said Satoshi closing the book in his hand.

"But man, I didn't know that you would be interested in history like this. What made you change your mind?", asked Haruto.

Meanwhile, Satoshi was thinking,

"Here says colours of their hair represents their behaviour, red a blue light... it kind of adds up, but not so much. It happened 200 years ago, then why another elf came after that? And this time, its green? What does her green colour signify? And by the looks of it, all elves are not bad, the red one are just bad. Then did the blue elves went extinct too? Or are they hiding somewhere? Something isn't adding up."

"Prince, can you hear me?"

"Oh, sorry. I will tell you when the time comes. For now, just wait."

"Alright then. Besides, I will send other books related to this to the castle directly. You don't have to come here every time you need something to read. Thats why I am here."

"Really? Thanks."

"No problem. Oh, your lady is coming to see you."

"Huh?"

"Okay then, bye! I have some work to do, but I will come before you arrive."

Sitting in the middle of a large table, was the Prince of Rudy, surrounded by the vast collection of books in the library of knowledge, situated right next to the University. He didn't expect her to come here. Besides, how did she even know that he was there?

Trailing behind was the head teacher of archery course, having sweat all over his face. He was visibly disoriented. Which was not adding up because Miyu was coming to him happily.

"What happened-"

"Satoshi-sama, your personal assistant might just be a genius!"

"Why? What happened?"

"She accurately predicted an arrow's trajectory using maths! And she calls it tri- tri-"

"Its trigonometry", she said.

"Yes! That thing!"

"Its hard to believe you guys don't know these. Its basic maths!"

Miyu was off again using words that the people of that world didn't know about and understand.

"Satoshi-sama, I would like her to be one of the members of the advisory board. She is an asset that cannot be left behind."

That request was presented before the Prince without Miyu's consent. She knew that he did that for the betterment of the country, but she didn't want that position. The advisory board consisted of the head teachers of different courses, suggesting and offering way to improve their education system.

Miyu was standing there, not knowing what to say. She wanted to deny, but she feared that she might forgetfully say yes put of pressure.

"Well, Miyu, do you want to join the board?"

Miyu nodded, saying no.

"Well there you have it."

"But-"

"I think its wise not to pressure her to do something that she doesn't like."

The head teacher understood and backed up. Although he is a head teacher, he was the prince. So he can't argue with it.

"I understand. But Miyu-sama, please come sometime to teach us these new rules of mathematics and geometry when you have the time."

"O-okay.", said Miyu.

The teacher went back to the archery room to continue teaching. After both of them calmed down a bit, Satoshi asked her how was the archery trial course.

"It was easy peasy. Even a child could complete that course."

"I see. Thats good to hear."

Everything in the library grabbed her attention. There were so many things that she almost became overwhelmed by it. It made her dizzy.

"Want to take a tour in this library?"

"Sure!"

"Elves are curious creatures, even more curious than humans in some cases. But her cute expressions are so cute, it feels like someone is going to stab my heart.", he can't help but think. But he kept all those to himself, without showing a single bit of that emotion. He is the prince of Rudy, he can't disgrace himself like that.

The library was a circular shaped building, having 3 stories, each story having different sections, different people taking care of the books. It is said that the library holds more that 150,000 books.

"Thats a huge number."

"It is. Well, these books were collected during the last 150 years, so it's actually quite a small number, if I must say."

"Thats a thousand books per year!"

She was looking around the first floor. It was mostly a place for the students to read, but there were still plenty of books.

"By the way, why did you come here? You don't seem to be the type of person who reads books."

"Insults... can't you say anything good about me?"

"..."

She had a lot of good things to say about him, but she didn't say any of them. She just kept thinking to herself,

"He's cute, handsome, a prince, beautiful..."

Thinking all that made her flustered. By seeing the sudden redness on her face, he became concerned about her health,

"Are you okay? Do you have a fever?", said him, placing his hand on her head. Which made her even more red.

"The temperature seems usual though?"

"I-I am fine! Its nothing, really."

"Is that so?"

"Anyway, let go."

"Where to?"

"Outside."

"Are you done looking at the library?"

"Yes. Do you have anything else to do here?"

"No. I was about to leave for the palace after you completed your trial, but it seemed earlier that I expected. I bet Haruto is preparing the horses. Anyway, lets go."

As they were going out, Satoshi held Miyu's hand. He didn't think much of it, but it made Miyu embarrassed a little. Her ears flapped in exitement, but it was covered by her cloak.

Going outside the library, they saw Haruto waiting for them with Speed and Kuro on the leash.

"Sorry for the wait.", said Satoshi.

"No problem Prince. Take your time."

Haruto got on Kuro, while Miyu and Satoshi got up on speed, as they start their third journey back to the palace.

The city of Knowledge is a pretty congested place, surrounded by stone houses and most importantly, sounds of people studying in the room. The place seemed pretty busy even though it technically wasn't. Everything was in perfect harmony. This was the only place of students. They come from different cities to study differently courses. In fact, unlike other cities, most of the inhabitants of the city of knowledge are from other cities.

One thing Miyu also noticed was that all the students were wearing a same black cloak, signifying their studentship. It was basically a storehouse of knowledge.

The city of knowledge was less big than the city of crops, she could tell. Well, thats a given, because crops need more space to grow.

Each of the cities were a different environment, had different people, different moods and are completely different from each other. She felt like going through different countries instead of cities. And she got even more excited to see the city of fish and the city of mechanics too.

As she was thinking about these, Haruto came from behind and engaged himself in a chat with the Prince.

"Prince Satoshi, how is princess Yumi doing?"

"I don't know. I basically travelled through three different cities just the next day."

"As princess Yumi is, I thought she might've sent you about a thousand letters by now."

"I hope not. It will be a mess."

They soon reached the outskirts of the city of knowledge, where the population is a bit less as well as the number of buildings. All the functions were held surrounding the University, so the more far away from the University it is, the less congested it becomes.

Satoshi was riding the horse as usual, when Miyu looked behind at him with an excititing expression.

"I got an idea for the emblem!"

"Really?"

"I hope its good. Hehe~"

Her smile along with her excitement was all that needed for Satoshi to go to the palace early. He wished he could see her face completely, without having it covered by the cloak.

"Open the gates, it me, Prince Satoshi."

They have reached to the palace after almost one and half days of traveling. That was the longest time Satoshi had ever travelled, ever. He was exhausted to the brim. All he wanted now is to have a nice bath.

Stationing both of the horses in front of the gigantic palace, Prince Satoshi, Miyu and Haruto went inside. Haruto had entered the royal palace a couple of times. So he is aquatinted with almost everybody there.

Soon came Hina-san, coming to welcome the Prince to his journey back, along with Haruto and Miyu.

"Satoshi-sama. Welcome back!"

"Thank you Hina-san."

"It was a long journey that you made, Satoshi-sama. I hope you are well. I already prepared the bath for you when I heard you were arriving."

"That's perfect, thank you, Hina-san."

As he entered the palace, he was welcomed by the maids, standing on both sides of the corridors. While Haruto and Miyu tagged along.

"Thanks again, Hina-san. I and Haruto can go to the bath ourselves. Please take Miyu-san to the womens bath. She is new and doesn't know the directions."

"As you please. Well then, Miyu-san, please follow me."

"O-okay.", said Miyu, feeling hesitant a little at first.

"Don't worry, it will be fine.", Satoshi assured her.

She went with Hina-san. While Prince Satoshi and Haruto went to the male's bath.

"Ahh. Nothing beats the feeling of a hot bath after a journey."

"You are speaking as if you were a traveler all you life."

"Its super exhausting."

They were on the Royal palace's male hot spring.

"By the way prince, could you please tell me how did you pick up such a hot cutie?"

"Uhh. Heres the thing, I kind of found her..."

"Kidnapping? The prince committed kidnapping?"

"Its not like that. Well, now that I think of it, it kind of is."

After hearing that, Haruto gave the worst stare he could to Satoshi.

"Long story short, I found her. She need help. I made her my personal assistant."

"But, Prince Satoshi choosing someone is... kind of surprising. You never trust someone that easily."

"Well, I guess something snapped inside me? Why? Do you feel something odd about her?"

"I support the prince's decision. If you trusted her, then she is trustworthy."

On the other side Miyu too was enjoying the time of her bath. Relaxing her body with the warm water, she felt as if all the tiredness had went away. She didn't want to leave the bath, but in the end, she had to. Its been more than fifteen minutes in the bath.

As she got up and was about to leave the hot spring, she saw clothes right in front of the closed door. Maid Hina-san was sitting on the other side.

"These clothes were hand picked for you to wear, Miyu-sama"

"Eh? For me? But I didn't order anything."

"Its a gift from the royal palace, under prince's name. Please accept it."

The design was almost the same as the one she had bought from Mr. Jun, but instead, this was pure white. This too, fits with her green hair and emerald eyes.

"Thank you very much. It fits perfectly."

"You should show gratitude to Satoshi-sama instead of me. He was the one that gave you this. It was hand picked by him, but don't tell it to him though, he might get embarrassed."

Actually, when they were looking for her dress, this particular one caught his attention, so he bought it and sent it to the Palace secretly so that she wouldn't notice.

Hearing this and realising what he did for her, she became flustered. But she was happy nonetheless.

Wearing the new clothes and wearing the cloak, she went out of the hot springs.

"Well then, the Prince and the others is waiting for you in the dining room. Let me lead you there."

"Thank you very much."

She followed her until she led her to a massive door. It was the grand dining room of the Royal palace. The heavy metal doos were opened before her by the guards standing by the two sides, and she saw the royal family before her. They were looking at her with curious eyes.

"T-Thank you very much for h-having me.", she said. Her voice echoed through the room. Everyone remained silent, until Satoshi's mother broke it.

"Oh my. What a shy girl she is!"

"No need to feel so tensed", said the king.

"My deepest apologies."

"Miyu, you can take this seat here.", said Hiroshi, pointing at the seat right beside him.

"Thank y-you very m-much", she mumbled a bit. Well, its the royal family, it is not unusual for her to be tensed.

In front of her was a great variety of foods, which she could eat with her hearts content, but she as is in front of the royal family, she can't mess up. Actually, she didn't want to ruin Satoshi's image. She didn't know why, but it felt like when someone introduces their girlfriend to their parents. It was weird.

Another reason to be scared is, the King, Satoshi's mother and Satoshi himself were ability holders, which meant they have powers that normal people didn't have.

Satoshi and Miyu was sitting on one side of the table while his mother and Haruto was sitting on the opposite side. The king is sitting in a neutral position on the third side of the table.

"Well, Miyu-san, was it?", asked the Queen.

"Y-yes."

"I have heard a lot of good compliments about your archery skills and something that you recently invented. If I remember correctly, it was trigonometry, right? My apologies if I am wrong."

The communication system of the Kingdom of Rudy was pretty fast, so any problems within the Kingdom of Rudy would soon enough reach the ears of the Royal Family. That incident too, was no exception.

"Thank you very much. And yes, that is what it is called."

Her mother noticed something,

"Miss Miyu-san, aren't you going to eat?"

"O-oh, my deepest a-apologies."

She was so tensed that she forgot to eat. Well, she couldn't eat and talk at the same time.

"Working as a personal assistant for my foolish son might be troublesome, so please take care of him."

She nodded her head in agreement. She couldn't open her mouth because she was eating.

"And on the topic of it, be careful of my son. He is at his growth period, who knows what he might do to you... perhaps I might even become a grandmother before I can even realise."

Hearing those words flustered her. She started choking on her food. But luckily, the water was right to her reach.

"Mom, don't be giving her weird ideas like that."

"Well, its prince Satoshi. Who knows what would happen."

"Not you too Haruto, taking mom's side."

Then they broke into laughter. Surprisingly, the royal family was not as strict as she thought they were. Haruto also seemed to have a close connection with them. She was just getting tense all for nothing. She felt relief.

After they ate their lunch, it was now free time for Satoshi, Haruto and Miyu.

"Prince, do you want to practice swordplay right now?"

"Sure. I am free and theres not much work left too. So I can."

"What about you, lady?"

"I am going to work on the new emblem for the Prince."

"Alright then. You can go and wait under. I will bring the swords."

"Thank you."

They both were going outside in the open area to practice. Satoshi waved bye at her before going out.

"The necessary things can be found on top of my desk. And if you need anything you need, feel free to call me."

"Got it. Thanks."

It happened unexpectedly, but by reflex, he accidentally started patting on her head. But she didn't particularly mind being patted on. Instead, she accepted it. But his patting would soon stop when Haruto let out a cough, indicating that he was still there.

After that, Miyu happily went to Satoshi's room to draw the emblem. She was a little bit more happy than usual,  mostly because she got head pats from Satoshi.
