Chapter 11:

Chapter 11

School Days

"Mommy, please wake up! You have to save Jubilee!," a young Ursula said in Ursula's dream.

"What?! What are you saying?! Who are you?!," Ursula asked her.

"I'm your future daughter, mommy. I'll be born really soon. Just look at your stomach. You're pregnant!," the girl said.

Ursula's eyes shot open. She panted and her hands quickly went to her stomach. She sighed as she felt her stomach to be the normal size. She thanked God that it was just a dream and not reality.

When Ursula was done with breakfast, Sawyer and Ursula's mother were still asleep. She didn't wanted to wake them up as she knew they had nothing to do.

She was worried about her mother the most. She had to get her the medicine from the next town but she was reluctant because of Sawyer's words. But she still had to do it anyways. She had been thinking about this for a while and today, she had made up her mind to go to the next town and get it.

She thought about calling Nina to ask her if she wanted to tag along but then again, she didn't do that because Sawyer's words had scared her now.

She left the house at two in the afternoon. She had made breakfast for the people at home and she made her way out of the house. She wore a black long sleeved t-shirt under a blue romper.

She walked for a while but she was very tired for a reason she didn't know. But she still walked as she didn't know anyone who could give her a ride to the next town.

Suddenly, she felt someone walk next to her. She looked at the person and it was the same guy from yesterday. She was shocked.

"Um, excuse me. Are you the person who helped me yesterday?," Ursula asked.

He looked at her and she realized he was very attractive.

"Oh, it's you! How are you?," he asked.

"I'm fine. Thank you for yesterday," she said as she smiled.

"Oh, it was nothing!," he said, scratching his neck.

"Where are you going?," he asked.

"To the next town," she said.

"Why? Is it something important?," he asked.

"I have to buy medicine for my mom. Her medicine isn't available in Jubilee," she said.

"Oh, I see. Well, I'm going to the next town, too. Do you mind if I walk you there?," he said.

"No, I don't mind at all. Thank you!," she said.

"I'm Matthew. Matthew Carden," he said.

He wore a pink shirt and brown pants with a brown belt.

"I'm Ursula Toliver," she said.

"Nice to meet you, Ursula," he said as he smiled.

She blushed.

"So what's wrong with your mom?," he asked.

"I don't know. She's just sick and I don't think it's a disease," she said.

"Oh. Well, that's weird," he said.

"I know. Why are you going to the next town?," she said.

"Well, there's someone I'm gonna meet," he said.

"Oh, I see," she said.

She thought it was a girl.

They had been walking for a while and they had entered the next town but they didn't know it yet.

"Hurry up!," someone shouted.

"That kid's gonna be fried by the time we get there!," another person shouted.

"What are they talking about?," Ursula asked Matthew.

"Let's follow them!," Matthew said as they ran behind the two firefighters.

They followed them to a burning building. It was an apartment building that was on fire. The fire had arised from the third floor and on the balcony was a girl who cried for help.

"Save me!," she shouted, as she cried.

"We're coming! Don't worry!," the firefighter yelled.

The girl continued to cry.

Ursula was worried about the girl.

Suddenly, the girl's and Ursula's eyes met. It was the same girl whom Ursula had seen in her dream this morning. The girl recognized her and started shouting.

"Mommy!," she shouted.

"Oh, the poor child! She misses her mother!," a woman said.

"Mommy! Please save me! Daddy! Please save me!," the girl shouted as she looked at Ursula and Matthew.

"Mommy! Daddy!," she cried.

The firefighters had rescued the girl. She quickly ran towards Ursula and Matthew and hugged Ursula.

"Mommy!," she said as she cried.

Ursula stroked her back but she was confused.
